I got a text from Alice late in the night letting me know of Bella drinking human blood to feed the baby. I knew they were thirsty themselves so I made my way into the house and blipped drinks for them.

"I know it's not much, but it's something."

"It's enough, thank you, Sophie."

"So how have things been going?"

"There is no improvement, we're just waiting and seeing what happens." I nod understandingly.

"I'll try to conjure up some more blood for you guys."

"Don't tire yourself out."

"I'll try not to." I pictured more cups of blood and even an ale, but after a few minutes of making their food appear I started to get a massive headache and I couldn't do any more.

"Why don't you go sit down and have some blood yourself?"

"No I'm fine, it's yours. I'm sorry that's all I could do."

"We know, we are grateful for it Sophie."

"Right, but this won't last us. We need to go hunting sooner rather than later."

"I'm gonna go home and rest I'll come back tomorrow to give you some more."

"You don't have to."

"No it's fine really, I want to help. I'll see you guys later."

"Okay."

I walked out of the house still feeling a little dizzy and started driving home. I could feel eyes on me and I knew Paul was watching. It hurts me to not see him or talk to him, or even touch him.

But family always comes first.

I was sitting in the kitchen eating lunch while dad was on the phone with Bella. I wasn't really listening as dad deserved to talk to her in peace.

"What? No, no you're not. You're not going to Switzerland. What! What are you... You said you were better! No, Bella. I'm getting on a plane. No. Bells, I...I don't know. You want me to visualise? Bella... Bella?"

I look up at my dad and then to Sue, who's basically moved in with us. "Charlie?"

"Bella said she has to go to some medical centre in Switzerland."

"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about dad." I smile before looking down with a discerned look.

Bella saying to dad that she's going to Switzerland means that dad probably won't see her again while she is human. It's sad. At least I got given a gift where I can still be human when I choose.

"You heading anywhere today kiddo?"

"Um, yeah I was going to the Cullen's house."

"Alright, you coming home before dinner?"

"No, I'll have dinner there. I should be going now actually, so I'll see you later, maybe tomorrow if I decide to spend the night."

"Let me know if you're spending the night, and maybe you could speak to Bella, let me know what the hell is going on with her?" I glance at Sue for a split second, before smiling and giving him a nod before leaving the room.

Before I opened the front door, I remembered that I blipped blood bags and bottles early this morning and placed them in an esky to keep cool.

Hurriedly rushing upstairs and grabbing the esky, I carefully carried it downstairs and into the car. Conjuring all this blood had made me quite weak, especially after last night so I was trying to take things slow. Ha, I say that yet I was rushing to get out of the house.

I felt my mistake when I got out of the truck and almost passed out. I leaned my head up against the cool truck window, using my arm to balance myself and hold the truck while I close my eyes and take in deep breaths.

"Sophie! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine Seth." I slowly released my hold and regained my body again, getting the esky out and slowly approaching the house.

"Sophie, it's good to see you."

"I managed to make more blood appear, here." I handed Carlisle the esky full of blood and walked inside sitting on the nearest chair.

"Sweetie let me get you some water."

"Thank you, I think I may have overdone it."

"You think? You practically passed out."

Oh, don't you just love Leah's way of caring, so bold and brutal?

"They needed blood, what was I meant to do let them starve? Do you know what, don't actually answer that I don't want to know."

"I wasn't going to say anything bad." I look at her knowingly. She walks off and I smile in victory, knowing that she knows that I know what she is really like.

"How's Bella been?"

"Good, with the baby receiving blood, Bella seems to be in less discomfort however, her condition is still critical. There is an issue, we are up to our last couple of bags for Bella."

"We will be needing more blood for Bella and we are desperate to hunt. We are grateful for you, Sophie for providing our family with as much blood as you can deliver, however, even then."

"It's not enough. I'm sorry I couldn't give you more."

"It's fine. We've decided that we are going to hunt tonight. I need my strength for when the baby arrives."

"I'll come with you."

"No, it's too dangerous with the pack wanting to attack us."

"Carlisle I can help keep you guys safe. I'm a newborn every time I transform. I have a newborn's strength and my gift, which could turn out to be useful, and anyway I'm technically a part of the pack, they won't hurt me."

"Very well. Jacob said that he had a plan to distract the pack, let's hope that it will work."

"He won't be able to distract the whole pack, so we would have to be careful."

"So it's decided, Sophie, Esme, Emmett and I will leave the house to hunt while the rest protect Bella and the baby."

"When do we leave?"

"We'll leave just after sundown, the darkness should give us some coverage to getting past the pack."

The rest of the afternoon I spent by my sister's side. She seems to be doing well, although as soon as you look into her eyes you can tell she is in pain and about to drop dead. I hate seeing my sister like this, but there's not much anyone can do but simply support her.

Eventually, it was time to head out and go hunting. Carlisle had come into the room to get me, he nodded his head and said to Bella that I would be back soon.

We headed outside, I was already in my newborn state and ready to go. Jacob had walked off already to speak with part of the pack.

Leah and Seth gave us our cue to leave and we bloody bolted. At first, we weren't having any trouble until the pack noticed and started chasing us down.

Esme got pushed down a small hill by Sam, I saw as she went rolling down the hill while the two wolves toppled over themselves. They soon got up and went for Esme. Emmett pushed over one and knocked him back, while I imagined the other swinging in high air and being knocked backwards a good few metres. Without hesitation my imagination became reality and he went flying into the air and then backwards.

Carlisle picked up his wife and we carried on running until we came across a cliff side with the only option was to jump to the other side for safety.

We jumped just in time before the two-pack members caught us. I felt bad for them as I considered Sam and Jared good friends.

I felt bad for attacking them, but this is my sister and Edward's family, which makes them my family and I protect my family.

Once we felt like we were safe completely, we began our hunt. Technically this would be my first hunt, so I let Esme partner with me and teach me how to capture my prey.

Not going to lie I had some serious fun, chasing down deer and some wild cats. I didn't like how messy it became, but I had fun and I feel like that is what matters.

We regrouped once we were fed. Although as soon as Carlisle came to us his face screamed worry.

"Carlisle?"

"Bella's gone into labour, we need to go."

"We won't make it in time."

I quickly thought of an idea that could possibly work. "Emmett's right. I'll try and blip us to the house, if not close to it."

"No, it's too dangerous. You can barely take two people."

"This is my sister and soon-to-be nephew or niece. I have to at least try for them. I don't want to lose either. Now hold on."

"We really have no choice at the moment." Thank you, Esme, I love that you're always on my side.

They all grabbed onto my arms and with literally all my strength I managed to blip us around half a kilometre away from the house. I collapsed on the ground, out of breath and with blood running down my face through my ears, nose and eyes.

"Sophie!"

"Let me carry you."

"No, I need some rest right now. Go. I'll be fine, they won't hurt me. Go!"

We heard the footsteps of the wolves rushing toward us. With one last look, the three left.

I pulled myself up to lean against a tree, venom was building up in my eyes, however, since I am a vampire my tears won't fall. I closed my eyes, taking in deep breaths and picturing a field of flowers, the sun bright and shiny, birds chirping and bees buzzing and a slight breeze dancing around my hair and long flowing dress.

I opened my eyes coming back into reality from my safe and happy place.

There, Sam and a few others from the pack were standing in front of me in human form. I could tell they were confused as to why I was bleeding from my eyes, nose, ears and even now my mouth as I coughed it up and spat it on the floor.

"Sophie?" Sam stepped forward cautiously.

"I'm fine. I just overworked my gift that's all."

Paul stepped in front of Sam and looked down at me, I looked down sadly not wanting to see him. Not after he vowed to kill my sister and her unborn.

I heard the pack leave and in my peripheral vision, I saw everyone leave except Paul.

"Sophie?"

"I'm sorry Wolfie. I miss you so much, it hurts when I'm not with you. I just, I got so angry that you would seriously think about hurting my sister. Hurting her means hurting me. I know that you want to protect the town and your home, but this is my sister."

"I didn't want to hurt your sister, I knew that it would hurt you and I couldn't think of anything worse than causing you harm." Paul crouched down and sat by my side.

"Then why did you do it?" I ask looking at him finally with hurt eyes.

"Sam's orders, he's my Alpha, I need to listen to him. Look, Sophie, I love you so much and it kills me every second that I'm not with you."

"I love you too."

I leaned into him as he wraps his arms around me. I'm so happy that I'm back in his arms.

"Come on I'll help you get back to the Cullen's house."

Then I remembered.

"Bella's in labour Paul. Come on, I have to be there for my sister."

I got up a bit too fast and fell right back down again with a light head. "Take it easy."

Paul helped me up slowly, and we started walking back to the house. After five minutes I regained my strength and was able to walk on my own. Howling could be heard in the distance and Paul looked at me apologetically.

"It's okay, go. I need to be there for my sister."

"Okay."

I watched Paul transform into his wolf form running off. I took off myself and soon found myself outside the home. I saw Jacob crouching down crying, he looks at me and I look at the house.

"No. Bella!" I run into the house to where my sister was.

There, lying on a medical bed was my bloodied sister, her eyes were dull, her body lifeless.

"Sophie, I gave her my venom, but I...."

"No, Bells." I whimper as I walk in a trance over to my corpse of a sister, venom spreading across my eyes once more.

I let out a scream and started crying I hugged my sister wishing for her to wake up. To say something awkward to make me smile. Anything.

But there was nothing.

After around ten minutes I calmed myself down and managed to walk away from Bella. Alice and Esme came up to me and guided me upstairs to clean myself of Bella and my blood.

I couldn't think or feel anything. I showered and changed into some of Alice's clothes and walked out into the living room.

I walked into the room where Rosalie was, seeing her holding the baby made my heart swell. This child could possibly grow up without a mother.

"Sophie, would you like to come and meet your niece?"

"My niece?"

"Her name is Renesmee."

I slowly walk over to the baby in her arms. The baby looks up at me as I simply stare at the child.

"Hi, Renesmee." I very gently stroked the baby's head and gave a small smile down at the child.

I had just lost my sister, but seeing her baby makes all the pain go away. But it came back again and I had to leave the room.

I walked back into the room with Bella where Edward was standing. I walked up to him with a white sheet and covered her, telling Edward to go wash up. But before he could we heard snarling in the distance.

"Alice! Jasper! Come on Sophie."

I nodded and followed him out, we met up with Alice and Jasper and headed outside to confront the wolves.

Emmett, Carlisle and Esme were inside protecting the home and the baby, while we were outside. If we ended up hurt and the wolves made it into the house, the others would be ready.

"We're outnumbered."

"By a lot."

"I won't let them hurt my family."

The wolves made the first move. I noticed Paul was among them, even after our little talk he's still going to fight against this family, fight against me?

Wolves and vampires were fighting left, right and centre. I didn't really pay attention as to who I was fighting all I knew was that Alice, Jasper and Edward were struggling with the sheer amount we were up against.

The pack knew they couldn't hurt me, so I used that to an advantage. I sprung on Sam and he flew away a couple of feet, Edward got up and rushed at him. I was soon thrown to the ground.

I looked up and noticed it was Paul. "Get off me, Paul."

He looked down at me and growled, I wish I could understand what he was saying.

'Go inside Sophie I don't want you to get hurt.'

Never mind I can talk dog now.

"Paul I'm not going, you're trying to hurt the only thing of Bella left. This is my niece and I won't let you hurt her."

'Sophie stop being stubborn.'

"Get off me Paul, before I make you."

'You're not actually going to fight me are you?'

"If it means you won't get to Renesmee, then yes Paul I'll fight you."

'I won't fight you.'

He slowly got off me, but before we could talk some more Emmett came flying in from nowhere and tackled Paul up against a tree.

I saw Carlisle and Esme rushing in to help. I got up and noticed Leah and Seth joined the fight also. I rushed to help the others, tackling any wolf that got on top of one of my friends, they did the same to me.

However, we all soon were surrounded by the pack.

"Stop! It's over! If you kill her, you kill me." Jacob came out and jumped in front of everyone. Sam went to move forward but Jake stepped in the way and transformed into a wolf.

"Jacob imprinted. They can't hurt her. Whoever a wolf imprints on can't be harmed. It's their most absolute law."

Sam moved to leave, the others soon following, all but one. Paul stopped in front of me and bowed.

'I'm sorry Sophie. I just want to protect you and this town. Please forgive me.'

"I know you do, it's your job after all. I forgive you." I whisper to him.

Paul looked behind him at Sam's figure that stands on the hill. 'Sam wants me to follow him.'

He goes to move but I keep him in place. "I want you to stay. I'm sure Seth has some shorts somewhere you can put on." I look to Seth and he runs off to grab a pair.

'He's my alpha Sophie, I need to listen to him.'

"No, you don't. You're not moving until you agree to stay. I'm sure Emily would love to hear that her Sam is keeping you away from me." I say the last words to Sam himself, threatening him to allow Paul to stay.

I know that Emily will get upset with him.

I watch as Sam retreats with the others following him. Seth comes running back in human form with a pair of shorts in his hands. Paul takes them in his mouth and walks off.

I have a satisfied smile on my face. "I can't believe you just threatened a wolf." I look at Emmett who's grinning his ass off.

"I like getting my own way."

I walk into the house to say hello to my niece. "Is everyone okay?"

"Yes, everyone's fine."

"Good."

"Can I hold her?"

"Here." Rosalie handed the baby over and looked down at her little face.

"I think that's enough holding her right now." Jacob tried to take her away from me but I turned before he could touch her.

"Excuse me? What is that supposed to mean?"

"You're a newborn and you could harm her."

"Harm her! Rosalie take the baby. Jake, I am about to harm you. How dare you think I'm going to harm my niece. Who the hell do you think you are?"

I grab him by the throat and drag him outside. I throw him to a tree and start walking up to him.

"I didn't mean to offend you, but you don't even know your own strength in this state."

"In this state? Oh, I am going to rip you apart." I do a Star Wars moment and lift him up with my gift while slowly choking him.

"Sophie, what's going on?"

"This asshole stopped me from holding my niece because he thinks I'm going to hurt her. Boy, I'm going to hurt him. He just rocks up after interfering with Bella's relationship multiple times, breaks her hand for forcing a kiss and then says hang on a minute I want your baby instead."

I walk up to him and punch him square in the nose and kick his stomach sending him far back.

"Come on Soph, why don't we go inside. Come on." Paul takes my hand and leads me back inside.

"He really knows how to get on my nerves," I say as Paul brings me into his chest.

Paul strokes my hair as my body starts relaxing, I take deep breaths trying to control my breathing and allowing all this negative energy to be released from my body.

"I know, I want to punch him too. I know it's late but do you want to go get pizza?" I look up to him an 'are you serious?' look on his face.

On that note, his stomach starts rumbling really loud. We both laugh at that. "Come on, let's go get some food. I could use a distraction from everything that has happened tonight."

He grinned and we walked outside and into the truck. Paul drove us to his house and we walked through the door.

We couldn't order pizza because it was too late and he didn't have any stuff to make pizza so I decided to blip it to us. It did make me dizzy but that's fine it's for pizza so it's worth it.

Paul put on a movie, I transformed back into my human self and we sat down and ate.

I got a text from Alice, just before Paul and I were about to hop in bed. She said that the venom started spreading throughout Bella.

I'm going to have my sister back. Thank you goddess of nature. I knew you loved your daughters.

Now all we have to do is wait.
