《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter twenty nine:

It's heartbreaking to see my sister literally on the verge of death.
Jake was staying over a lot right now, I just couldn't get over my anger toward him at the moment so I decided that I should spend some quality time with my old man. Mainly because I know he is missing Bella and needs some comfort.
"So how did your date go?" I picked up a slice of pizza and began munching on it. Pizza will always top blood and any other food for that matter, it's superior on so many levels.
"It was good, we had a bunch of laughs and we said we would do it again."
"I'm happy for you. So is Leah."
"Leah? You spoke to her?"
"Yeah, I mean no one can replace her dad, which I agree with but I think she needs that person in her life so maybe we should have a family dinner with us all, so everyone can you know, get used to being together in one house maybe."
"After a few more dates first."
"Of course. I was gonna go shopping tomorrow and I'll be out for the whole day, so don't wait up."
"Who are you going with?" Hm, a little lie won't hurt him.
"A friend from school, I don't think you've met her. I won't be out late though, I'll come back to annoy you for sure." I grin up at him.
"Take your time, please I'm begging." We both laughed and finished up our meal, before cleaning up and relaxing in front of the tv.
"Okay, I'm going to bed goodnight."
"Night." My dad mumbled while watching tv.
I walked up the stairs thinking of where I might go shopping. Jane came to mind. I haven't shopped in Italy in a good few, so I might just go there.

I looked at the weather for tomorrow, it was cloudy, however, nice enough to be outside.
I got an outfit together before, going to bed, hoping to escape reality.
I woke up and showered etc and got dressed.
Hopefully, I can forget about everything that's going on and have a positive day without any disturbances.
After I knew dad had left for work, I gathered last-minute things before picturing myself in Italy's shopping central.
I could get some clothes and things for the baby, I know the kid will grow super fast so I won't get anything too fancy.
Walking around, seemed to lighten my mood a lot. I decided to grab a little snack before starting my shopping journey. I ordered avocado on toast with scrambled eggs on the side with a medium-size hot chocolate.
Birds were chirping and people were getting on with their day. Living here must be nice.
I finished my breakfast and started my shopping spree with the closest store to me, which happened to be a shoe store. I am so going to be broke after this trip.
I walked through that store already having my eye on some cute baby pink and baby blue Jordans, as well as some matte black heels. I know I have to get them, I know they're expensive, but they are so worth it.
Good thing I got myself a job about a month back at a clothes store in Port Angeles. I hardly spend my money unless it's on fuel for the truck, so I have some money saved for me to go on shopping sprees whenever I get down.
I've only been to one store and I've already spent over $1000, oops. Oh well, next store we go.
I end up skipping a few that I didn't really like the look of and headed straight into a makeup store. I've been needing some new products, and there's this eyeshadow pallet that I've been dying to try.

Sadly some of the makeup products I wanted weren't there so I'm going to have to go online for them. Although I did get the eyeshadow pallet, which I'm grateful for.
The next stores I'm going to are clothing stores, which I know I'm going to bring home loads of bags.
I need new dresses, some formal ones and some for clubbing. I really want to get more jackets and maybe get an oodie, only because they look sooo comfy. I need new pyjamas as mine are getting quite old and just some more skirts and pants and just everything. I feel like I should just buy a completely new wardrobe.
I might get Bella some new clothes as when she is turned into a vampire she cannot dress how she used to.
Oh, I should go back into the makeup store and buy her some products to start with. She needs to learn how to use this sort of stuff now that she is going to be a hot, young mother forever.
My arms are not even visible anymore, maybe that's a sign to take a break.
I sit down at a lovely-looking restaurant and order a toasted sandwich with chicken and avocado with a salad on the side. I did get a few weird looks from people, probably because of how many bags I have.
I finished lunch and headed back to the makeup store and bought some last-minute things for Bella before blipping myself back home. I walk through the living room, struggling with the many bags and stop as my dad, Sue, Billy and Paul are looking my way.
"Sophie I know you said you were going shopping, but I didn't know you were buying the whole store."
"Um, well I needed some new things and I got Bella some stuff too, for when she gets back from her trip." I smile gingerly at the man with a small giggle.
"Paul, why don't you help Sophie bring her belongings upstairs?"
"Yeah, sure."
Paul and I haven't spoken since he told me of his pack's thought of killing Bella. I give him a small smile handing over around half my bags.
We walk past my dad and he holds my making me stop and look at him. "Do I want to know how much you spent?"
"Um...."
"I thought not, go on."
I followed Paul up the stairs and into my room. Dumping the bags down I look at Paul. "So, why are you here?"
"I came to talk to you. Us not being together and talking is killing me. I can't take it anymore."
"You're the one who wants to kill my sister."
"If it means to protect the town."
"Paul this is my sister we are talking about, what if I was in her position. You wouldn't want them to kill me would you?"
"Of course not."
"Then you should get Sam to call this thing off. Or at least stop yourself."
"You know I can't go behind his orders."
"Then there is no point in you being here. I'm going to support my sister no matter how much it hurts me to leave you behind."
I pointed to the door and Paul took the message and left. Tears started falling, so to busy myself and to not have a complete meltdown I put my things away.
