《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter twenty seven:

Bella has been home for two weeks now. She called dad this morning to let him know that she will be extending her trip because she is "sick". I mean technically it is true, dad's worried about her I can tell, but I just have to be there for them both.
The pack asked what happened when I left and I simply made up an excuse. I don't really care if they believe it or not, but it's not like I can straight up tell them that Bella is pregnant with a child that could potentially be a danger to the town.
I was around the Cullen's house as Bella's condition has been getting worse. With Carlisle unable to penetrate the sac, there was no knowing how the baby is. Not even I was about to answer that question. So to distract her, we suggested that Bella come up with baby names.
Bella really did look like death herself, but she's putting on a smile for everyone. I know she's scared, we all are. We just have to wait and see.
We were all discussing names when we heard a motorbike. "I'll go get the door."
Carlisle walks off and I know that this isn't going to be good. "How do you think he'll react?"
"Hopefully well." Esme always looks for the positives.
"Listen just give it to me straight."
"Jake is that you?" Bella called out. I know she's missed her friend. So have I, but Jake's obsession with Bella is really tearing me apart. She's married now and with a baby, yet he still feels for her. It's sad.
Jake walks up the stairs and looks at all our faces. One word to describe our expressions. Solemn.

"You sure you can do this Bells?" I whisper to her, scared of how he'll react.
"Yeah. I'm glad you came." Jake walked forward slightly.
"Close enough." Rosalie has been protecting and looking after Bella ever since we found out. When Jake first entered the room, she stood protectively in front of Bella.
"What's your problem?"
"Rose, it's ok." Jake walked around Rosalie and sat down on the table in front of Bella and me.
"You look terrible."
"Yeah. It's nice to see you too."
"So are you gonna tell me what's wrong with you?"
"Rose, Sophie, you wanna help me up?"
I smiled at her weakly, as both Rosie and I help Bella stand. Her stomach has grown in the past two weeks. Bella appears as though she has only a couple of months left before the baby is due. Then again this isn't any normal pregnancy either.
Jake looks over to Edward. This isn't going to be good. "You did this!" Emmett stops Jake from pouncing on Edward.
"We didn't know it was even possible."
"What is it?"
"We're not entirely sure, however, the baby is some sort of vampire and human hybrid," I answer for Carlisle.
"Ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the embryonic sac," Carlisle added.
I helped Bella sit back down on the couch.
"I can't see it either. And I can't see Bella's future anymore."
"We've been researching legends, but there isn't much to go on. What we do know is that it's strong and fast-growing."
"Why haven't you done anything? Take it out of her!"
"This is none of your business, dog."
"Rose! All this fighting isn't good for Bella."

"The foetus isn't good for Bella!"
"Say the word, Alice, 'baby'. It's just a little baby."
"Possibly."
"What? You think it's a demon? Either way, it's going to kill Bella." I look down at Bella's baby bump with a sad expression on my face. I guess Bella is going to get what she wished for all along.
"Sophie, you're not helping."
"Carlisle, you've gotta do something."
"No! It's not his decision. It's not any of yours."
"Jacob, I need to talk to you." Edward and Jacob walk outside, leaving the rest of us here.
"I better get going. I promised dad that I would help him with a little project. Call me if anything pops up." I say to everyone as I transport myself to the truck and drive away.
"Hey, Soph."
"Hey dad, didn't know you'd be waiting out here for me."
"I invited Sue round for dinner tonight. She said yes."
"That's great, but you can't cook."
"Sue said she would help me cook."
"Omg! You're going to have a cooking date aw!!!" I squeal up and down.
"Yes, okay, okay calm down. Which means you have to find somewhere to sleep tonight."
"Ugh, dad. You could've just not gone there."
"No that's not what I meant, dammit."
"Sure."
"Just go inside and help me clean the house before she gets here."
"That's the project you wanted me to help you with, cleaning?"
"Go!" He points to the front door and I huff.
"Fine. I better get a good amount worth of pocket money for this."
"Depends how well you clean."
"What are you two cooking anyway?"
"I'm not sure."
"Dad, she's cooking you dinner, yet you organised this date and you don't know what's on the menu. Come on."
"How about pizza? Then Sue and I can watch something and get to know each other."
"Well, I suppose that isn't that bad."
"See, I come up with good ideas."
"Whatever, let's just get this over and done with."

D Days
Dragons were the apex predators of the magical world, feared for their strength and intelligence. They stood at the pinnacle of creation, until mankind fueled by fear and envy banded together and struck them down as the greatest threat to the continued existence of their kingdoms. Peace reigned for many years across the continent, until an accident in the Magocracy of Ken turned one of the most powerful mage lords into a power mad lich. Raising an undead army and creating a cult that worshipped him like a god, he cut a bloody swath across the continent in a bid to create his own domain. A great alliance consisting of the Kingdom of Light, the Magocracy of Ken, the Forest Kingdom of the Elves, the Mountain Kingdom of the Dwarves, and the Wild Tribes of the West rose up and the high lich was defeated, his armies destroyed, and his cult scattered. Still recovering, the world is a constant state of petty power struggles and back biting between nations. Border disputes are common and the constant fighting has taken a toll on the populations of all the nations. Of course, none of this has much bearing on the everyday life of a an ordinary young orphan in the care of a Temple run home. Or does it? *Current Word Count as of 8/4/18: 59,415 I am shooting for at least one update a week. Also, if you see any mistakes let me know and I will fix them. Cover by!*

Lost souls, will be rewritten soon. (Old version)
In a world where mages stand above the peasants, the nobles, and the law, it is not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Five siblings from a village in the middle of nowhere felt the same. Unfortunately, a dragon brought ruin to their home, eventually cornering the five blood brothers. Luz, the eldest brother, ignored the warnings of his ancestors for the sake of their survival. Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
