"Soph, come on I'm going over to Billy's to get some answers from Jake."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"I'll go alone if you don't get off your arse."

"Fine I'm coming but be prepared to be disappointed, Jake clearly told you he didn't want to see you."

"Then why did he come to visit me."

"When did he visit you?"

"It doesn't matter, hurry up."

We arrive at Billy's and Bella headed straight for the door. Billy was the one to answer it. I came him an apologetic look.

"Bella?"

"I need to see him."

"He's not in."

"I'm sorry, I really need to see him."

"Bella?"

"Bella you can't just barge in. Ooh, cookies." I made my way past Billy and headed for the cookies, chocolate chip, ginger, white chocolate and cranberries, oh stop it. I'm in heaven.

The next thing I know, Bella is marching her way to the pack yelling at them. I managed to get halfway between the house and the pack before Bella slapped Paul across the face.

"Bella get back. Paul, calm down now. Sophie don't come any closer."

Paul phases and Bella turns around and runs back toward the house, by this time Jake comes out, phases and runs straight into Paul. They end up tumbling backwards into the forest.

"So five bucks on Jake?"

"Embry, how can you bet on them right now?"

"Do you really want me to answer that?"

"Go $20 bucks on Paul."

"Deal."

"Hey, stop betting and take Bella back to Emily's place."

"Guess the wolf's out of the bag."

We gathered poor Bella up and headed for our truck. Jared drove with Bella in the passenger side, while Em and I rode free in the tray.

We soon arrive, Embry and Jared, calling out letting Emily know we're here as we exit the vehicle. Bella being the only one left in the truck.

"I think we should go back and see if Jacob's ok."

"I hope Paul gets some teeth in him. Serves him right."

"No way. Jacob's a natural. You see him phase on the fly?"

"You're just saying that because you don't want to lose $20."

"Come on in, Bella. We won't bite."

"Speak for yourself."

"Hey, be nice you two."

Embry and I walk in and I instantly get engulfed by Emily. "I was missing you."

"Aw Em."

"What about me?"

"Embry, she sees you almost every day, Emily is probably bored of looking at your face by now."

"Who's this?" I look over to my sister as I take a bite out of this muffin, Emily freshly baked. I push Embry's foot off the table and sat on his lap, while he was busy looking at my sister, I snagged a bite from his muffin. Jared and I stifled a laugh when Embry turned around with a confused look on his face.

"Bella Swan. Who else?"

"Hmmm, so you're the vampire girl."

"So, you're the wolf girl."

"Guess so. Well, I'm engaged to one. Leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sam's gag order. "

"Um, he didn't say anything to me."

"That's a wolf thing. Alfa's orders get obeyed whether we want to or not. Oh, and check it out, we can hear each other's thoughts."

"Would you shut up? These are trade secrets. Damn it! This chick runs with vampires."

"I can't really run with vampires. Because they're fast."

"Yeah? Well, we're faster. Freaked out yet?"

"You're not the first monster I've met."

"Jake's right. You are good with weird."

Sam came in and welcomed Emily with a whole bunch of kisses to her face. That could only mean, Paul and Jake were not too far behind.

"Sam who won?"

"I'm sorry Soph, but Jake did get a good knack at Paul."

"Yes!"

Speaking of the two devils, they came bouncing in. Both me and Jared unwillingly gave our money to Embry who was happy to take it.

Paul came in and looked furiously at my seating choice, he picked me up from Embry giving him a glare before sitting down himself with me on top.

"Sorry." Paul turned around and apologised to my sister. Not a minute later Bella left with Jake.
