《Sophie Swan: P.L》Chapter fourteen:

I'm leaning against the truck outside La Push's school, waiting for the bell to go, so Seth and I could verse each other on his console. Last time he beat me, and to be truthful I'm a sore loser, so I need a re-match to prove I'm the best.

The bell finally went and I watched in concern as Seth was walking near me with what looked to be a black eye. "Seth, who did that to you?"

"It doesn't matter, let's just go home." I stopped him, grabbed his face and examined it. I made him meet my eye.

"Tell me, point them out, who did that to you?" After a moment of hesitation, Seth pointed out this boy, who seemed to be a bit taller than him. He was leaning up against the brick wall away from the doors laughing with his mates.

"Please don't do anything."

"Come on." I dragged him by the arm, heading straight for this boy.

"Cody look." They started to giggle and say something under their breaths but I wasn't having it.

"Apologise for his black eye."

"I don't think I will."

"Sophie let's just go."

"No, this dickward is gonna apologise before I make him."

"As if you can make me do anything."

I punched him square in the nose causing him to yelp and step backwards. I grabbed his shirt and punched him in the face again, before pushing him forcibly against the wall-banging his head in the process.

"I believe I said to apologise."

"I-I'm sorry."

I leaned up close to his ear, so only he will hear. "You are never going to bully him again, you will treat him with respect. If he says jump you fucking jump, or I will come for you. They won't ever find the body. Do you understand me, Cody?"

"Yes." He squeaked.

"What's going on here princess?" It was Paul.

"What was that? I can't hear you. I don't like to repeat myself. Do you understand me, Cody?"

"Yes, I understand you. Please let me go." I let him go, with a final knock to the head and swooped my leg under his causing him to fall onto the ground.

Only then did I notice that a crowd had formed around. "Come on Seth, he won't be bothering you anymore."

I guided Seth, with a hand on his back and grabbed Paul's hand, which gave me butterflies but I ignored it and walked over toward the truck.

"What the hell was that?"

"He was bullying Seth, what was I supposed to do?"

"Nothing, you could've gotten hurt."

"But I didn't, you can't be mad at me for that."

"I'm not, I thought you looked pretty hot doing it though."

"Aw, thanks, Pauly. Now tell me, what's with you going around telling guys that we're dating?" My mood changed and I now stood in front of the flustered Paul Lahote, with my arms crossed with his pack friends stifling laughs behind him.

"Uh, well...."

"I mean don't get me wrong I'll be happy to date you, but I'd at least like to know I'm dating someone, rather than it coming from Billy."

"You would date me?"

"Don't get your hopes up though blushes. Anyway, we have to go, so I'll see you around. Unless you want to join us in a few games?"

"You're just upset I beat you in the last race."

"Seth, sweetie, I love you, I really do, but I will give you another black eye if you don't shut up right now."

"Sore loser."

"I am not a sore loser, I let you win that's all." Yep, I let him win, let's go with that.

"Sure you did."

"Just get in the car."

"I'll meet you at Harry's."

"Ok."

We arrived at Harry's and immediately we all headed for Seth's room.
