"Hey, do you wanna go round to Jake's with me?"
"Yeah sure, homework is giving me a headache anyway."
Bella and I got our things together and headed for the truck. I saw the back of the truck bulky and covered with a tarp, I guess Bella noticed my confusion.
"I have a little project for Jake."
"Right and what does this little project involve?"
"Don't get mad but, I want him to fix these motorcycles I found at the junkyard."
"I promise I won't get mad, or tell dad if you let me ride one."
"I thought...."
"You thought after your little mishap with Jessica that I wouldn't be for this, Bells you know me and I love anything that goes fast, let's go already."
She chuckled and off we went to our good mechanical friend.
"Bella! Where the hell have you been, loca?" Jake ran up and hugged Bella.
"That's ok Jake, it's not like I'm not here too."
Jake pulled me under his arm. "Oh, Soph, it's not like your here almost everyday. Anyway, dad can't find where you put the cookies."
"Are you serious? I put them in the cupboard where I always put them, I'll be back, don't start the fun without me."
I ran into the house and found Billy in front of the tv. "Hey Sophie, how's it going?"
"It's going good, Jake tells me you lost my cookies."
"Jake's a liar, I'll never lose your cookies, they just ran away. Or that son of mine ate them."
I laughed at his theatrics. "Come on, I'll show you where they are."
"What brings you here, I know finding the cookies wasn't the reason?"
"Bella brought motorbikes to fix up with Jake, don't tell dad."

"I never thought Bella would be into bikes, I know you would. How's Paul going to take that his girlfriend is playing around with heavy machinery."
"He is not my boyfriend."
"Sure looks like it."
"We are just good friends that's all."
"Keep telling yourself that."
I take the cookies in my hand and eat one. "I'm gonna take these and go to the other two."
"Do I get one first?"
"Gotta keep that blood sugar down Uncle Billy, love you bye!"
I call back while walking off toward Jake's shed.
I walk in to find Jake setting our tools in a rather organised way, I must admit for a boy being so tidy I am rather impressed.
"I thought you were meant to find the cookies not take them." I look to Bella and shrug my shoulders.
"Hey, give me that." Jake took them out of my hands and started munching on a few.
"Hey, don't eat all of them, I want some too." I eventually snatch the bag back and go sit down by Bella.
"Oh, Soph you just reminded me, Jake, if we're going to be doing this every day, and I hope we are we need to fit homework in somewhere."
"Hold on a minute, how do I, me, Sophia Swan remind you of homework?"
"You were talking about it in the car?"
"That's not the point, I hate homework, I'd rather go to the beach."
"Like you did on our birthday."
"School was not the answer that day."
"We had an essay due."
"Your point."
"Anyway, I don't want Billy thinking that I'm a bad influence on you."
"You influence me? Please."

"Are you...? I'm older than you, so that makes me the influencer and you the influencee."
"No, no, no. My size and knowledge base actually makes me older than you. Because of your general paleness and lack of know-how."
"I convinced you to build two-wheeled death machines with me. Don't you think that makes you kind of young and naive?"
"Damn you squabble like an old married couple."
"Okay. So, where do we stand?"
"I'm 35. And you might be, like, 32."
"Oh, come on."
"Yo, Jake, you in here?" I look up to see a couple of boys walking toward us.
"Hey, Jake."
"Hey, guys this is Bella and Sophia. Bella, Soph that's Quil and Embry."
"Hey." I wave while eating another cookie. I'm surprised I haven't finished the bag off.
"So you guys building bikes?"
"Oh, yeah, yeah. I taught him everything he knows."
"What about the part where your his girlfriend?"
Omg, lol. I knew he had a phat crush on Bells. I'm so going to tease him for it later.
"Uh, we're friends, you know?"
"Ooh, burn!"
"Actually, remember I said she's a girl and a friend."
"Embry, do you remember him making that distinction?"
"Nope."
"So you guys have girlfriends? That's awesome."
"Yeah, right. Quil's actually taking his cousin to prom."
"Yeah, that's still a riot. You want funny, Black? I'll give you funny."
Quil and Jake end up play wrestling to which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Embry came and sat down by me and Bells and watched the event with interest.
"Hey, so you're the one dating Lahote right?"
"Why is everyone thinking we're dating?"
"Well that's what he's going around saying. Few guys said they fancied you and he said you were dating him. I'd warn you though, he's an extreme hot head, not to mention he's in Sam Uley's cult."
"Thanks for the warning but I think I'll manage."
I'm going to have to ask him about that later. Perhaps I might run into him when I go and pick up Seth from school. Uncle Harry isn't able to pick him up, so I volunteered.

AOT: Boats
I know, the title doesnt seem to make sense. Its an acronym. For what? Hm. T means True. Up to you otherwise. Oh, right. The acronym actually does have an impact on one of the themes of the "story". At the same time I mixed it up with a reference to the original plan for this when I started, so yay. A double. Well, actually, a triple. Again, up to you. I should also mention that, as the rhyme that starts the story probably tells you, its gonna get kinda disturbing. All kinds of disturbing. Just to let you know.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
