Few days later,

Shiva's friends- Rajeev and Maya were invited to his house. They were having a gala time with Shiva. Raavi also joined them.

Rajeev: Chal, kuch game khelte hai! Maza ayega.

Maya : Let's play truth and dare.

Shiva: Chaar log hi hai, isme aur kya hi hoga.

Maya: Tu bhi na!, chal na, chaar logon mein problem thodi hoga. Sab ko ek bar karke chance bhi milega. Hum log pehle bhi to khelte the, tab to Ishanvi bhi sath mein hi...( She stopped speaking, realizing what she uttered).

Shiva's smile slipped and his expression hardened. There was a pin drop silence for a moment.

Raavi gave a half smile and tried to lighten the situation. She said: Areh, chaliye na, chaar log kam thori hai, bahut maza ayega. Main abhi ek bottle lati hoon.

They started playing the game. After a few rounds, the spun bottle landed on Raavi.

She chose "dare". They have arranged a bowl full of cheats for the game. Raavi picked one and read out, "Sing a song for your lover and send it to him/her"

Rajeev: Tum to bahut achha gana gaati ho, chalo, ye to easy hai, apni bf ke bare mein ko sochkar ek gaana hi ga do.

Raavi's cheek reddened and she bowed her head.

Shiva: Ha, gaana to achha hi gaati hai par ye bf kaise ayega! Send kisko karegi? Raavi to single hai.

Maya: Mujhe nahi lagta, mujhe to Raavi ko dekkar hi lagta hai woh kisi ko bahut pyaar karti hai, kaise khoyi rehti hai. abhi bhi to sharma rahi hai, aur usne to mana bhi nahi kiya, tujhe sab pata thodi hoga.

Shiva's eyebrows rose. He crossed his arms and tightened his lips. His gaze shifted towards Raavi and he saw her blushing. He didn't like the idea of Raavi having a boyfriend. This thought itself was annoying him, though he couldn't understand the reason for his frustration.

Raavi: Areh, aisa kuch nahi hai. Shiva sir sahi keh raha hai, main to single hi hoon. Ye sab baatein sunkar thodi awkward ho gayi thi.

Maya: Mere nazar mein to kuch aur hi laga. Waise, thik hai, ek romantic gaana hi ga do aur Shiva ko send kardo.

Raavi choked upon her food and started coughing. Shiva immediately attended her. Shiva's care and concern for Raavi and Raavi's flushed face in Shiva's presence wasn't unnoticed by them.

After a moment, Maya stated: Areh mera matlab tum to achha hi gaati ho, to Shiva ko send karoge to wo hamare group mein add kardega, aur kuch nahi.

Raavi pressed her lips and started looking here and there. Then she started singing,

Raavi softly gazed at Shiva only to find two deep hazel eyes staring at her intensely. She blushed under his intense gaze and continued.

Everyone cheered for her and applauded her.

Maya: Bahut achha gaya tumne, dil se gaya, aisa laga ki kisi insaan ko dedicate kiya, apne pyaar ke liye gaya.

Raavi in a daze: Ha, pyaar ke liye hi to gaya.

Shiva widened his eyes in shock and looked at her. Raavi immediately regretted her verbal vomit and stated: Mera matlab pyaar ka gaana gaya, to feel karna hi hoga, professional singers bhi to aise hi karte hai.

After a few moments of hesitation and awkwardness from both Shiva and Raavi, Shiva finally gave up. Raavi turned red when he agreed. He slid his hands up her body and cradled her face with his hands. Raavi drew a deep, staggered breath in response to the wave of heat she felt flushing through her body. He dipped his head and softly kissed the corner of her lips. ( It was supposed to be a lip kiss but Shiva se abhi itna hi hota😂) Raavi felt fluttering inside on feeling his warm soft lips on her skin and held his hand tightly. Little shivers of pleasure and panic shot through both as soon as he kissed her. Shiva slowly pulled back, his face flushed and he moved from there.

After a little bit of chit-chat and fun moments, they parted. Before leaving, Maya called Raavi in a corner and stated: Bahut jaldi tumhara pyaar tumhare sath hi aisa gaana gayega. Tum aur Shiva ek sath bahut khush rahoge, dekh lena.

Raavi: Nahi, aisa bhi..

Maya: Tumhari aankhen tumhari ankahee baatein bata deti hai Raavi, aur ha, Shiva bhi tumhari bahut care karta hai, shayad pasand bhi karta hai, dhire dhire sab samaj jayega.

Raavi smiled and hung her head.

After few days,

Shiva's cousin, Gautam and his wife, Dhara visited Shiva's place. Shiva was not at home. Raavi and Suman were there and taking care of Rudra.

Gautam: Waise kaaki, Shiva ka kismat dekkar buda lagti hai, bachpan mein paida hote hi maa, baap ko khoya aur abhi bacha hone ke baad biwi ko khoya.

Dhara: Ha, wo to hai, par ye to dekho ki wo Ek orphan tha, baaki orphans ko itni taklif mein guzarna padta hai par Shiva to Raja ki tarah rehta hai, itna bada ghar, office , kahan se kahan chala gaya.

Raavi: I'm sorry ma'am, but Aap galat ho. Valei Shiva sir ko suman ma'am aur Darshan sir ne adopt karke ek achhi zindagi diya tha, par aab wo jahan hai aapne mehnat se gaya hai.

Dhara: Main to practical baat boli but aisa mera koi galat intention nahi tha. Aur ( looking at Raavi) tum to Shiva ka PA ho na, family matters mein aisi baat karna galat hai, tum apni kaam mein focus karo, ye hamara ghar ka mamla hai aur..

Someone uttered while entering the house: Aur Raavi is family ka hi ek hissa hai. Wo jab chahe ghar ke matters mein involve ho sakta hai. Aap itna pareshan mat ho Bhabhi kyuki humein isse koi takleef nahi hai.

Shiva, while coming to his home, had only heard about what Dhara spoke about Raavi. So he immediately defended her.

Raavi gaped at him dreamily with all the love in her eyes. She looked at him with proud teary eyes.

Dhara gritted her teeth and after a while, took Rudra from Raavi. Rudra is a very happy go lucky kid and used to thrive around people. but today, he acted weird, maybe he didn't like Dhara, he straightaway refused to look at her.

Shiva: Rehne dijiye bhabhi, Baad mein mil lena, Abhi Rudra ko shayad mood nahi hai.

Dhara: Uff, tujhe kya hi pata hai bache ke bare mein, abhi hi to baap bana hai, main use bahut acche se sambhal lunga. Tu na chup reh.

Dhara got annoyed, she furrowed her eyebrows and flared her nose. Raavi took Rudra from her arms and took him to the washroom.

While changing his clothes, Raavi caressed his head and said,

"Mera Puchku to bahut smart bacha hai, wo to aise pee pee nahi karta hai, aaj ye kyun kiya!, aisa to nahi karna chaiye, Dhara aunty tumhe kitna pyaar kar rahi thi, Wo to bahut achhi hai."

Rudra looked at her and nodded his head in a no. Then he pouted and looked at her cutely.

Raavi: Nahi beta, badhe ke bare mein aisa nahi bolte, Ruko, main thora cream lekar aati hoon.

She was about to grab the bottle , when she felt a gentle pull on her dupatta, she turned around to find Rudra helding her dupatta in his fist. He called "ma.. maa" and softly smiled. Tears of joy rolled down her face. She never knew how much her heart could swell until the first time, she heard Rudra calling him, "maa". Her happiness knew no bounds. Though she has always enjoyed being with him and treated him like his own son, she had never expected this acknowledgment from him. She hugged him and kissed all over his face.

Raavi in a teary eyed face: Thank you so much Puchku. I Love you.

Rudra giggled and kissed on her cheek.

Scene shifts to the drawing room,

Dhara was cleaning her saree and muttering something under her breath. Only Gaumbi was there at that time.

Dhara: Bahut bol rahe the na, Shiva kitna pareshan hai, bla bla, 1 saal hua nahi, abhi ek girlfriend bhi bana liya. Kismat to mera kharab hai, aur wo bachha, kitna badmash hai, pura kapra kharap kar diya. Kitna achhi saree thi meri, aur ye kya kar diya. Huff!

Gaumbi: Raavi PA hai Shiva ka, tum kuch bhi bolte ho, tum na zyada stress mat lo. Main abhi nimbu pani banane ko bolta hoon. Shant ho jao, Rudra to ek chota bacha hai, usko to chor do. Aur Shiva ko bhi apne life mein move on karna ka bhi haq hai, agar wo Raavi ke sath move on kar bhi gaya to galat kya hoga.

Suman while entering there: Ek dam sahi bola beta, Raavi bahut achhi ladki bhi hai. Main to chahti bhi hoon Shiva Raavi se shadi karke aage bad jaye.

And they continued their chit-chat. Unfortunately, they didn't notice 1 pair of deep mysterious eyes witnessing their entire conversation from the kitchen. A sense of anguish, guilt, despair, disbelief engulfed him. He slammed his eyes shut and stepped out from there.
