4 months leap

Scene at Shiva's house,

During those 4 months, Shiva had tried all possible ways to arrange the best treatment for Ishanvi but unfortunately even after consulting with the best doctors from all over the city, he couldn't succeed. Ishanvi's condition was worsening with each passing day. Shiva, despite being shattered upon seeing Ishanvi's condition, never left her side.

He had offered her encouragement and hope throughout these months. He would hold her hands for hours, read baby stories together, watch her favorite movies, sing songs to make her feel better and many more. Ishanvi's delivery was supposed to be in the next month.

Ishanvi, who was a very practical woman, was more worried about the future; Shiva and their baby's future.

Shiva: Chalo, tumhari khane ki time ho gayi hai, is ke baad dawai bhi leni hai.

Ishanvi smiled: Abhi bhi 1 hr baaki hai, pareshan mat ho. Yaha ake baitho na pls.

(Saying this, she held his hands and made him sit beside her).

Main agar tumse kuch mangungi, kya tum mujhe de payoge?

Shiva cupped her cheeks and nodded positively : Ha, obviously, bolo na kya chahiye?

Ishanvi took a deep breath and stated : Wada karo mujhse, mere jane ke baad tum aage badhoge, ek nayi zindagi shuru karne ki koshish karoge, khushiyaan dhund ne ki koshish karoge, ( Pausing a little, she said) dubara shadi ke baare mein sochoge.

Shiva's jaw tightened, his expression dulled on hearing her words: Ainda aise wada kabhi maat mangna, tum bimar ho isliye chup hoon but ek baat yaad rakhna, Is Shiva ke zindagi mein sirf ek ladki the, aur zindagi vaar wohi rahegi.

Sadness clouded her features and she sighed in despair.

After 1 month

Scene shifts to Raavi's house,

During these months, Raavi has been a very strong support system of Shiva. Even now, their usual arguments have transformed into friendly banters. Raavi had met Ishanvi and she developed a good bonding with her too. But something has changed. She respects Shiva, she even admires him. But nowadays, she seems to be getting more emotionally attached to him. She mentally scolded herself several times but she couldn't help adoring the wonderful human in front of her. She loved the way he treated her, she loved their funny cute banters, she loved the way he treated all his family members, his colleagues, she loved how diligently he performs his work, she loved the way he treats Ishanvi. Sometimes, she thinks about how Ishanvi is lucky to get the best husband in the world. No, it's not love. She knew it. But, maybe, it's an attraction or fondness or maybe just a good friendship. Sometimes her heart flutters seeing the small cute gestures of Shiva, sometimes she just can't get him off her head. Shiva's misery would make her feel sad personally and would affect her in many ways. All these feelings are complicated for her. All she knows is that whatever the situation is, she will always be his rock, be his anchor. She will not let him know though.

Raavi was busy in her "wonderland" when she got a call from Shiva.

Shiva (in a panic stricken voice) : Raavi, jaldi ao, Ishanvi ka waterbreak hua hai.

Raavi : Ha, aap hospital jayiye, main abhi ati hoon.

Shiva was getting nervous, he didn't know how to react, he was biting his nails and pacing near the delivery room. Raavi arrived and Shiva didn't wait for another second and hugged her , she also wrapped her arms around him securely.

Raavi : Shant ho jayiye, sab thik ho jayega.

The doctor arrived, Shiva hurriedly rushed towards her with expectant eyes.

Doctor: Congratulations Mr. Pandya, Ladka hua hai.

His whole face lit up and a beautiful smile formed on his face after she said that. Raavi giggled happily and congratulated Shiva.

Suddenly, the doctor's expression hardened.

Shiva asked her : Aur Ishanvi kaise hai? Wo thik hai na?

She hung her head and sighed in regret.

Doctor : I'm sorry, We tried our level best but we couldn't save her.

Shiva felt that his world shook hearing this news. His smile slipped and lower lip trembled : Ye kya bol rahi hai aap..

He couldn't complete the sentence and slumped against the floor and the next thing Raavi and the doctors found was Shiva lying unconscious on the floor.

Scene ends.
