《Shivi FF: Eye-opener ft. Kesar》6

"Ae gadhedi! Darwaza khol!" - Shiva shouted.
"Nahi Shiva... tu jaa... khaana kha le sab ke saath... main bhi aajaungi thodi der mai... bas kuch aur packing hai" - she replied back as calmly as possible, sobbing quietly.
Shiva rolled his eyes annoyed. "Ab tu kholegi ya darwaza thod doon" - he called out, banging the door. She opened it but turned back to the cupboard without looking at him. He pulled her by her arm, turning her to face him.
"Teri woh maasi jo bhi bolegi tu maan legi kya?"
"Sach hi toh hai... tune bhi toh sach kar diya uss baat ko"
"Areyyy baba! Main kuch aur soch raha tha tab... teekh se suna nahi tu kya pooch rahi thi"
Raavi's eyes lit up. Her hopes started rising. But she was still unsure. Her maasi was right anyways. Even Shiva deserved his share of happiness. He did hate her and was being with her only for family. She couldn't be selfish like this and bind him, she thought to herself, tears brimming again. On not hearing any reply from her, Shiva lifted up her chin, looking deep into her eyes, questioningly.
What she saw in his eyes she didn't know but it made her make him sit on the bed and talk to him. She told him what she thought before and after her marriage, how he was the one who turned out to be what she had wished for, all his unique qualities, how she had fallen for him, when she realized her feelings, how Dev was just a silly crush while he was the axis her life revolved around.
"Main bohot khush hoon par selfish nahi banna chahti. Ab jab main jaanti hoon ki tumhe pyaar karti hoon tho tumhari khushi hi important hai mere liye. Mujhe pata hai tum apne feelings express nahi karte ho. Isliye tum agar yahan se ab chale gaye tho main samajh loongi ki tum divorce chahte ho. Don't worry main khud Kaki, Gaumbi sab ko mana loongi, tum bas khush raho Shiva" - she told him, looking straight into his eyes.
She waited for him to do or say something. After a few seconds, he got up from the bed and walked towards the door. Her heart broke yet again, the second time in a day, but she wasn't shocked this time. Her Shiva was a heera and the girl he would fall in love with was going to be the luckiest. Cursing her fate, she sighed, letting her tears fall down uninterrupted.
Shiva had been dumbstruck when she had started speaking. Hearing her say she loved him was one thing, but to feel the depth of that love was another thing. His stomach had been doing somersaults and his joy had known no bounds. All he had wanted to do then was to kiss this girl senseless kiss his girl senseless and twirl her around in happiness. Then she had started speaking of his happiness, divorce, etc. He had simply stared at her. How had this sweet-hearted innocent soul been woven into his fate? When did he become so fortunate? Yet she was still a dobi, he had smiled inwardly. His dobi. After their moment in the bathroom and even after him clarifying that he nodded for divorce accidently, she had still thought otherwise.

He walked towards the door, locked it firmly and came back to her. Moving closer, he cupped her face gently and kissed away her salty tears. She had totally not expected these change of events and her eyes widened at the gesture. He chuckled at that and slowly placed his lips on hers. It was a soft and gentle kiss, they savoured it with eyes closed, the world stopping around them momentarily.
Raavi gave her widest smile, happiness evident in every fibre of her being. Shiva was lost looking at her. Uff! Those huge eyes and heavenly smile would be the death of him! He grabbed her waist and pinned her against the wall, his other hand fondling her neck. His intent gaze and the warmth of his hands on her were burning her up. He kissed her forehead, eyes, cheeks, nose and chin, pressing his lips all over her face. His gaze fell on her lips, when he saw Raavi lean towards him with flushed cheeks. He wasted no time in slamming his lips against hers.
Their second kiss was a contrast. It was too rough and passionate. Just like him... She blushed at her thought and gave in to him as his tongue entered her mouth. She soon learned the method and did the same, both trying to dominate each other. His hands slipped into her kurti while hers slipped into his vest, exploring each other's bare skin, earning moans from each other in the process. If anyone saw them now, they would know that both were equally passionate... if one was fire then the other was ice... none less than the other!
In need of air, they finally pulled back panting heavily. They were leaning on each other's foreheads, catching their breaths, when Shiva spoke.
"Mere gusse ko dekhi hai itne saalon se... ab mere pyaar bhi dekhli... jo bhi ho shiddat se karta hoon... kya seh paayegi dono ko zindagi bhar?... Log mujhe yunhi jungli nahi bolte" - he smirked.
"Mujhe bhi konsi phoolkumari bankar baitna hai? Tumhare kehne pe woh sach nahi ho jaata... Mujhe bas teri isi aag mai jalna hai... teri isi shiddat mai khud ko khona hai... iss jungli bhaalu ko sirf ye chipkali jhel sakti hai" - she smirked right back, kissing his neck. He smiled and pushed her to the bed.
Few hours later, lying on the bed, wrapped in a blanket, Shiva was looking fondly at Raavi, who was hearing his heartbeat by resting her head on his bare chest. He kissed her forehead.
"Ra... Raavi... Mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai... ki... woh... woh... tum... main... I... I... lo... lo... ve... you"
"Kya? teekh se bol na"
"ILOVEYOURAAVI" - he said in one go and closed his eyes.
It had taken all his courage to confess his feelings directly, even though it is only to the love of his life, and now that he did, his heart felt strangely lighter. Raavi chuckled at her cutie Pandya. She loved this side of him. She mentally took pride in herself as only she could elicit such cuteness from him. She pulled his cheeks and told him how happy she was that he had broken down his wall just for her. He went on to tell her how he realized and what all made him love her so much. Raavi hugged him tighter, telling him how lucky she felt right now hearing and feeling all this.

"Ab tho kuch nahi hai... tu dekhti ja... ek chipkali ko kaise mere pyaar se sabse lucky ladki feel karaata hoon" - he said, dipping his head head in the crook of her neck and snuggling closer.
"Raavi... Raavi... meri bachhi... packing ho gayi hai? Main gaadi ka intezaam karoon?" - Prafulla called out from outside, glee evident in her voice.
Shiva frowned and Raavi giggled seeing him. They quickly got dressed. Shiva sat on the bed and scrolled his phone while Raavi went towards the door to face her maasi. Shiva got an idea to annoy and shock that maami of his. He smirked. Just as she opened the door, he called out.
"Raavi!... Teri uss maasi ko jaldi dhakel ke aa na... Hame nahaana bhi hai... Mai bubble bath ready karta hoon"
"Oh maarhi bhogilalll!" - he heard his maami gasp and laughed. The exact reaction he had wanted. Dil ka sukoon spotted.
But the next second he heard collective giggles, muffled laughter and even a clap. He turned around to see Raavi frozen at her spot embarrassed. Oh. My. God! What. The. Hell. Had. He. Done! Though he knew, he still went to the door to see his entire family standing there, who had broken down into peels of laughter as they could not control it anymore after seeing him!
Just like Raavi, even the family had thought Shiva wanted divorce. When he had glared, they had taken it to be anger on Raavi. As they had called to convince him, he had rushed behind her. When the room had been locked, they had hoped these two would cool down and Raavi would convince him, except Prafulla, who had hoped Raavi would be done packing and they would have an even bigger fight.
So, everyone had finished lunch and gone about their work, giving the couple time and space. But, when the couple had not even turned up for tea, that was almost 4 hours later, they had become tensed. They had made their way to the couple's room, praying that no pralay had happened, while Prafulla had been walking happily, dreaming about her daughter's second marriage.
But never in their dreams did they expect to see what they saw! There they were before their eyes... the dushmans of Somnath who had been ready to kill each other... looking down embarrassed... blushing profusely... with messy hair... and creased clothes... not to mention the nail marks and hickeys! All they could do was gape and pinch each other to believe that this was true.
"Mere priyya bade bhai! 'Mujhe' nahaana 'tumhe' nahaana tho samajh mai aata hai par yeh 'hame' nahaana ka thaathparya kya hai?... batayiye please" - Krish asked, fluttering his eyelashes innocently and burst out laughing again.
"Waah bhai! Pehle tho tumhe bath se hi problem thi... vo bhi do din mai ek baar... par ab 'bubble' bath soojh raha hai" - Dev coughed dramatically and pat Shiva's back.
"Raavi! Saaman pack ho gaye kya... tum tho jaana chahti thi" - Dhara snickered looking at the empty open bag on the floor.
"Arey! Aap bhi kya baat kar rahe ho... kitni busy rahi hogi... in naakhun ke nishaane ke beech saaman wagera tho bhool hi gayi hogi" - Rishita joined her, laughing out loud.
"Itne saalon mai mujhe aaj hi pata chala ki tum khaana hote huye bhi bina khaaye reh sakta hai aur woh bhi itne der" - Gaumbi smiled at Shiva. He couldn't stop himself from joining in the fun.
"Ab Somnath jaake bhi aise hi 'dushmani' nibhaate rehna... Poora Somnath behosh ho jayega jaise ab fui hone waali hai" - Anita laughed looking at the couple and then at Prafulla, who was clutching her heart with a horrified face.
Shiva and Raavi were totally mortified. They had turned beetroot red by now! Shiva silently cursed himself for his 'bina soche samjhe react karne waale' attitude while Raavi glared at him. Then yet again they both blushed and looked away from each other.
"Bas! Bas karo... bohot ho gaya... aur nahi chedoge mere bacchon ko..." - Suman said, faking her strictness. "Kisi ki bhuri nazar na lag jaaye" - she added, eyeing at Prafulla.
She left towards the dining hall, followed by her family, who walked behind her along with the newly-in-love couple, teasing them, congratulating them, patting them on their backs, while Shiva and Raavi were first embarrassed but then eased down and countered them back, laughing and secretly holding each other's hands. All was well for the Pandyas and today they were truly complete, happy and together.
Only Prafulla stood there, still shocked, unable to comprehend how this miracle happened. Little did she know that this miracle would keep growing in leaps and bounds. Well, years later, it would be common knowledge in all of Somnath that Raavi indeed was the luckiest girl of Somnath, just as her husband had promised.
