《Shivi FF: Eye-opener ft. Kesar》5

Raavi had been deep in thoughts about whatever happened in the bathroom when her maasi had brought up the divorce matter. Before she could make sense of it and protest, her maasi had already made her sign the papers. She was totally aghast!
"BAS KARO MAASIIII! YEH AAPNE KYA KAR DIYA?!! Mujhe nahi chahiye divorce, nahi hona hai Shiva se door... aap meri khushi chahthe ho na tho sunlijiye... meri khushi Shiva ke saath hi hai kyunki MAIN SHIVA SE PYAAR KARTA HOON!" - she screamed, "Shayad shaadi se pehle hi" - she added softly, as an afterthought.
To say that everyone was stumped by the revelation would be an understatement. The most shocked was Shiva, followed by maami, who could not accept this change in her daughter. Raavi felt so light and happy after her confession. After so many days, she felt like her old bubbly self. She turned to Dhara.
"Dhara di! Mujhe pata nahi main aapse kaise thank you bolun. Aapne anjaane mai hi sahi, mere aur Shiva ki shaadi karwa di. Warna mujhe realise hi nahi huwa hota ki iss bhootnath mere liye kitna important hai aur main aur bhi kahi saare galat decisions leke baiti hoti. Aap tho meri lucky charm nikle!!" - she chirped happily, hugging her. Dhara was too emotional to speak and just cried happy tears, nodding at her.
Raavi then turned to Dev and Rishita. "Dev mujhe ab bhi hurt hoti hai ki tum ne mujhe ek friend ke naate chod insaaniyat ke naate bhi sach nahi bataaya aur ab tak maafi bhi nahi maanga. Par mujhe kabhi gehra heartbreak tho feel nahi hui aur ab pata chala kyun. Kyunki tum kabhi mere pyaar the hi nahi. Chal bina maafi ke hi maaf kiya tujhe. Aur Rishita tum! At least ab tho mujhse nafrat karna chod do."

Everyone were still not over the pleasant shock but were very happy. Suman looked up and thanked her gods. Gaumbi chuckled at Shiva's shocked look. Krish was totally amused and excited by the whole situation.
"Ab tho tum poore life fas gaye Shiva" - he guffawed, and the whole family laughed. However, his innocent statement gave an idea to Prafulla. She was determined to break this alliance and knock some sense into her daughter. She tried a new approach.
"Wahi tho! Raavi tum tho pyaar karte ho usse par uskeliye ye zabardasti ki shaadi hi hai na... use bhi tho khwahishen honge... kaise kaatega poore zindagi tumhare saath jise woh nafrat karta hai... kya pata use koi aur pasand aagaya tho bechaara" - she cooed, sure that her large-hearted daughter would not want the person she loves to be in misery.
Raavi's expression changed for a few seconds. However, she remembered the times he stood up for her, cared for her and the moment they shared in the bathroom. Even if not love, he at least liked her she concluded.
"Nahi maasi... woh bhi yeh nahi chahtha... aap hi dekhlo... tumhe divorce chahiye kya Shiva?" - she turned to him confidently. Shiva readily nodded his head in a yes.
Dread settled in Raavi's heart! She found it hard to even breathe. Maybe she misread everything. He had done all of it for his family. Even the moment they shared sometime ago meant nothing to him. With tears brimming in her eyes, she stuffed the divorce papers in his hands saying - "Tum bhi sign karlo, mujhse mukti mil jayegi". Before he could open his mouth, she ran back to their room, slamming the door shut.
Shiva had completely zoned out after Raavi declared her love for him. He had guessed she liked him, from all the hints of recent happenings but she being in love with him totally hit different. He was on cloud nine. He was in love with his chipkali and it turned out to be mutual. His mind had started its happy thoughts and he had become oblivious to the surroundings. So, when Raavi suddenly asked him something, he nodded absent-mindedly. By the time he realised, she had given him the papers and ran away.

He gave Prafulla a murderous glare and ran behind Raavi, ignoring the calls of the entire family.
