I made it to Colby's place, i let myself in since i already have a key to the house.
No one was around so i'm guessing they were at the backyard or in their rooms. I walked up the stairs to Colby's room.
I knocked and entered, closing the door behind me. He looked up at me and smiled, i went up to him and gave him a tight hug
"I needed that" He said as he hugged me back and gave me a kiss on my head
"Anything you wanna do today?" I asked him
"Wanna walk around the city late at night? I kinda don't wanna be in this house, i wanna get out of here" He said as he sat down on his couch, turning off the tv. Making it very quite in the room
"Yeah that's fine, can we go eat first?"
"Yeah let's go"
-Colby-
"Are you smoking again? I can smell it" She said as we were eating
"I thought you stopped, ever since we left for the trip, you stopped" She added as she pointed the fork at me
"Ehh, kinda missed the feeling of it" I said as i shrugged my shoulders
"One day Brock, one day i'm gonna get your stash and throw it away. I hate that you smoke"
"But you do it too when i offer you some"
"That's because i wanted to. I don't like the idea of it anymore"
"Well, if you don't wanna smoke with me, that's fine. I always smoke on my own anyways" I said as she rolled her eyes
"You're gonna quit ok" She said as i stayed quiet
-Colby-
We sat down on some bench as i lit up a cig
"Can you stop" She said
"No" I told her as i gave her a huge smile
"You're slowly killing yourself" She said as she punched my arm
"That's the whole point baby" I replied
"I'll make you a deal then! Smoke with me and i'll stop" I said as i rose my hands in the air
"Deal or no deal?" I said
I can tell she was upset. Just by the look on her face. A pouty look, like if someone took away her fav candy.
"Fine, give it to me" She said as she snatched the lighter from my hands.
"Last one" She said as she pointed at me

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
