《His》Chapter 15

Today wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I didn't spend too much on his card. He followed me into every shop and although I could tell he was getting bored and frustrated he never complained once.
We're on our way back to the pack house now. I bought enough clothes to last and some maternity bits too. I won't need them for a few more months yet.
We shortly arrive at the pack house, Rafael comes and opens my door and makes his way to the back of the car and collects all the bags. I try to take some off him but he shrugs me off and walks into the house. Following after I find he has taken the bags up to my room.
Before he can leave fully out of the door I've taken a hold of his hand. Looking up to him his face gives nothing away.
"Thank you, Rafael. I know it hasn't been fun for you to follow around after me but I have enjoyed today and getting to know you too." Taking a step closer to him I debate on what to do next. Doing something completely out of the blue for me I give him a hug, to say hes startled is an understatement but it isn't long before he hugs me back and inhales my scent.
"You know you smell like honey and lavender." He inhales again and then lets me go.
"How do you know that? Can I do it?" I look up at him in surprise. He nods and tells me to give it a go. I lean up on my tip toes and place my hands on his chest for balance and inhale, I have to have a good sniff but he smells like vanilla and a hint of sandalwood.

"Your sweet like vanilla, with just a hint of sandalwood." He chuckles at that.
"Well I've never been called sweet in any sense before." Continuing to have a little laugh to his self. Seeing him being this open with me is a nice change.
"You have to teach me more."
"I will in time. When I mark you, your senses will open up everything will be heightened things will also come easier too." Resting his hand on my waist he gives it a little squeeze, making butterflies erupt in my stomach.
"When will that be?" The butterflies surface again at the thought of it. Even though I can't feel my wolf I know she is there somewhere and she has to feel the excitement at the thought of it happening.
"When your ready, I don't want to rush you and make the marking experience something you look back on and don't enjoy. I realise that now." Guilt etches onto his face. Obviously from before when he thought he would be able to forcefully mark me. Knowing now this isn't his intention it makes me smile.
"I don't want to ruin this, but I wanted to let you know I've booked you an appointment with the packs doctor. It's nothing to worry about just to give you the once over and maybe do a scan if you're up for it." My smile drops and I take a couple steps back into the room and close the door on him.
