《Blaze, My Mate》Chapter 14

I had been waiting for Blaze to come for lunch but when he didn't show up, I decided to go to him. Food was just an excuse, the reality was I wanted to see Blaze and be close to him. When he opened that door, my mind stopped working and thank the Goddess that Dale showed up.
Living with Blaze made me see him in different light. He was amazing with Azure and I couldn't ask for a better father for my son. He always made time for us even though he had a lot on his plate. He never took no for an answer and he was right, I need time to heal. He was under a spell after all.
There was knock at the door and Caleb walked in. He was shocked to see me there. It was my first time seeing him since I returned and it had been about a month. He seemed tired and stressed.
"Sophia, oh shit didn't expect to see you here. How have you been?"
"I have been good Beta Turpin," I said getting ready to leave.
The look Caleb gave me broke my heart. His eyes held sadness and shame. I was still angry that my brother let me down but I also missed him so much. I never realised how much until I saw him. He seemed to be struggling with what to say.
"I'm sorry baby sis." He whispered. "I finally got hold of mom and dad, they will be he...."
I didn't let him finish, I walked out. Why would he tell me about his parents, they wanted nothing to do with me. I was not a part of the Turpin family anymore.
I needed some air and to be by myself so I decided to go outside. I was almost at the door when my name was called by a happy voice. It was Lauren.
"I see you finally decided to come out of the apartment. You know I wanted to march up there and drag you out but Blaze said to let you be. You will come out when you're ready, I told him it can't be healthy being by yourself all the time."
"I have been by myself for two years Beta female Lauren. I'm fine." I saw the smile leave her face and she put her hand over her small baby bump.
"Come on Sophia don't be like that. You know, Caleb finally got hold of your parents..."
"Yes, your mate told me. I really don't know what makes both of you think I care about them." I walked towards the tree line, she came after me.
"Listen, I know we did you wrong but we are family Sophia."
"Family! really?"
"Yes, please forgive me. I'm begging you, my sister." She was now crying.

Looking at her I felt so much anger, not just towards her but all the pack members.
*******
So I left Lauren there, I had to walk away. I ended up wandering aimlessly in the forest. I had never felt so much anger in my life when she said we are family. Blaze was under a spell and his parents listened and believed him. What about those people I called my parents? Were they under a spell too?
I was so out of it that I didn't hear people approaching me until it was too late. It was not a good thing considering there is a rogue problem. Three pack wolves Stood in front of me, and one of them shifted.
"Luna, thank the Goddess we found you." I raised my brow at him and put my hands on my waist.
"I'm not lost Dale. I needed to cool down."
"Not according to the Alpha. The poor guy is a rack," he said shaking his head. I laughed because I didn't see why he would be a rack as Dale put it.
"I'm serious Luna, our lives depend on finding you. The man is whipped." He chuckled and the two wolves made a bark sound agreeing with him.
"Let's go so the Alpha can see that you are safe and sound."
"So, Dale I never got a chance to ask you that day, why did you believe me when no body did?"
"Oh, that. I was in the same boat as you."
"What do you mean?"
"I was rejected too Luna," he said sadly. What, the poor guy, rejection is a bitch, I know. He seemed to be doing well, I guess it's true time is a healer.
"Come on, will you stop with this Luna stuff?" I sighed and stopped walking. "I'm sorry, I know the pain."
"First of all, you are our Luna so stop denying what you are." He motioned for me to move.
"As for my mate, she made it clear that I was not good enough and she will never love me. She loved your mate not me."
"What? You mean Victoria....." I was shocked. He nodded and smiled. That bitch rejected her mate so she can be with my mate. Anger rose in me and Sky wanted her blood. I agreed with my wolf she had to die by our hands.
"Don't worry about me though, I'm happily mated to my chosen." He looked genuinely happy when he mentioned his chosen. I was glad that he pulled himself out of that dark hole Victoria put him in and found his happily ever after.
"We are here, the Alpha knows we found you so he should be a little calm. See you around we have to patrol." He shifted into his wolf and run after the other wolves.

The sun was sinking behind the mountain and it looked beautiful. I made my way out of the trees and there was a lot of commotion outside. Most of the pack members were on the lawn and Blaze was pacing back and forth with Azure in his arms. He held him so close like he would disappear and Azure was in his wolf form.
"The Luna is back," someone yelled. When would this people stop calling me their luna?
"Sky said annoyed. She was in love and was ready to be marked, me not so much. She huffed and relaxed, that delicious scent made its way to me. I felt like running to him and never leaving his arms, I needed him to make everything better. I stopped and watched him as he made his way to me. He was not happy, his face was hard and emotionless, his eyes were set in glare. He looked scary but I found him even more handsome.
Azure jumped out of his arms into mine the moment he stood before me. I realised Blaze was trying hard to calm down.
"Where did you go without telling anyone? Do you know how dangerous it is with these damn rogues around," he roared. He was so mad but I saw fear in his eyes.
"I went for a walk Blaze and I have been on my own for two years, with the rogues around. I'm fine". He was shaking, I needed to calm him down but as I reached for his hand some smart mouth decided to speak.
"If the luna was living with the rogues does it mean that she knows what they want?"
"What the hell are you asking?" Blaze snarled. His demeanor changed, his face became darker, his eyes narrowed to the guy who talked. He looked dangerous, it was the first time I saw Blaze in Alpha mode.
All the pack members held their heads down and beared their necks in submission. I beared my neck for a different reason, I wanted that male to sink his canines into my neck and mark me as his. I wanted him to make that night unforgettable as he made me his in body and soul. Seeing him like that was such a turn on.
Blaze growled lowly as he turned his gase to me, he could smell my desire for him. His eyes turned darker and again smart mouth spoke.
"Alpha, I don't mean any disrespect but the Luna said she lived wit...."
"Who the hell do you think you are to accuse my mate! Your Luna. I gave my word to all of you that I will fucking take care of the damn rogues. That doesn't mean I will let anyone disrespect my mate. If anyone has a problem with my mate being here fucking leave!" he said with a stern voice. Nobody moved, I stared at him in awe. Blaze stood up for me, tears frighten to fall but I blinked them away.
"Let me make this clear, if I ever hear shit being said about my mate, I won't be this nice."
"It's okay," I said placing my hand on his lower back. "I can explain..." Blaze cut me off with a growl.
"You don't owe anybody a fucking explanation, let's go."
When we walked through the door of the apartment Azure hoped out of my arms, shifted back to his human and run to his room. I closed the door and Blaze was still shaking fighting for control with his wolf.
"Sophia, can I hold you? please baby. My wolf need to know you are okay." His voice was deeper and husky it sent shivers through out my body and I swallowed a moan. I didn't trust my voice so I just nodded.
He held me by the waist and pushed me to his chest he buried his nose in my neck and took deep breath. It felt amazing being in his arms so I put my hands around his neck and pulled him even closer. He responded by tightening his hold, finally I was home and all was well.
He started kissing my neck lightly, I moved my neck so he can have a better access. He grunted his appreciation and gave it open mouth kisses all the way up to my ear. Thank goodness his hold was strong because my legs were useless. He kissed my jaw and made his way to my mouth. He was about to claim it when we heard.
"Dada!" his nose was screwed up in disgust. "You eat mama, no!" he shook his head, it was the funniest thing.
"You know what buddy, mama is mine to eat."
"Blaze!" I glared at him.
"What? He has to know."
"Oh Goddess, he is only two," I scolded.
"You are right baby. Listen buddy, only dada eats mommy's mouth if you see anyone...." I cut him off, he was impossible.
"Oh Goddess! You know what I'm going to shower and start on dinner," I said turning towards my room.
"Want me to come and help wash your back? baby." Blaze asked. I just shook my head and I heard him laughing. It was like music to my ears.
I felt different in a good way. I knew there was no turning back, I was falling hard for my mate.
