《Blaze, My Mate》Chapter 2

When I got close enough to my still frozen mate, I realised that there was a female touching my mate's face and he was letting her. I saw red, how dare she put her hands on what was mine. Sky took over and pounced at the person touching our mate.
There was chaos around I ended up pinned down by my father and brother. I didn't understand why they stopped me, that girl disrespected me.
"Why are you holding me down that girl was touching my mate," I yelled.
"You attacked the future Luna for no reason," my dad hissed.
"She was touching my mate."
"No, Victoria was with her mate," Caleb said angrily.
I stood up and looked for my mate and there he was making sure Victoria was okay. So, Blaze was my mate but why was he with Victoria? He was mine and everybody had to know.
"You don't understand, Blaze is my mate!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. There was silence and shocked faces around.
All of a sudden there was a stinging pain on my cheek and a very angry looking Luna Lisa in front of me. I didn't see her come because the whole time my eyes were on Blaze.
"How dare you disrespect my son and his mate like that," the Luna snarled.
"He is my mate and he knows it."
"Blaze is this girl your mate?" the luna questioned. I waited for his answer with anticipation like the rest of the pack.
"My mate is Victoria mom," he said in a bored tone like he didn't just break my heart.
"She attacked my daughter, I don't care why but no one touches my little girl and gets away with it," warrior Ford, Victoria's father said.
I didn't understand what was going on, he didn't want me, his mate.
"Are you sure son, Sophia..." Alpha Bruce was cut by the Luna.
"You are believing her over our son Bruce, can't you see she is jealous of Victoria."
"I'm going to take Vicky in so she can rest," Blaze said holding her bridal style. She held onto him tightly and at that point, everything went pitch black.
I woke up to my mom shaking me. I was still wearing clothes from last night and I was in a cell.

"What happened, why am I in the dungeon?
"What happened is you attacked the future Luna and claimed her mate as yours," my mom said sadly.
"Mom, please believe me... " I tried to say but she just shook her head.
"I brought you clean clothes and food. You will go to the Alpha for your judgment." She left.
It finally hit me that the mate I had been waiting for didn't want me. Blaze chose Victoria when he turned 18. He knew I was his mate for two years but he chose her. Am I that ugly or that bad that my soulmate would choose another. Am I not enough? What is so wrong with me? I know she is beautiful and perfect but he is supposed to love me.
I changed my clothes and didn't touch the food, I wasn't hungry after all. The warrior came to get me, his name was Dale. He had this sad smile on his face. He seemed to understand what I was going through. Dale was one of the best warriors, he wanted to be the head warrior. He took me to the meeting hall. Great, the whole pack would be there.
"I know this probably doesn't mean that much to you right now but I believe you Sophia," Dale said sincerely.
"That means more to me than you could ever imagine," I told him with a smile.
We walked in and the place was packed. The high ranks were on stage. I glanced at my dad and he couldn't look at me. Blaze had Victoria on his lap, she had a neck brace on. She was never that much of a fighter even though her father was the head warrior. I don't think I did that much damage considering I was held back.
I stood in front of the stage alone with all eyes on me, awaiting my punishment for finding my mate. I still couldn't believe my mate didn't want me and I wanted to know why?
"You all witnessed what happened last night, since it has to do with the wellbeing of the pack our Luna will take the lead on this one," Alpha Bruce said. I knew right there that I was doomed.
"Sophia Turpin claimed another's mate which is disgusting. The bond between mates is sacred and trying to break it for your selfish reasons makes you a heartless monster." She glared at my parents and said.

"Being the Beta's daughter one would think you were taught that." My parents heads were down and Caleb was ready to kill me for doing this to our parents. They were insulted and they couldn't do anything because of me. It hurt so much.
"We all know what it means for the pack when the alpha finds his mate. It means wealth, prosperity, happiness of the pack but most of all it means the alpha will be at his best. He will be strong and defend the pack. Sophia wants to make our pack weak by claiming my son is her mate. The alpha is strong with his true luna by his side not some wannabes who are after the title," the luna said.
"For your punishment you will go on your knees and apologise to the future Alpha pair and you will be known and treated as an omega from now on. I wanted you gone from this pack but my husband is too nice. Let this be a warning to all of you that I will not tolerate any one trying to sabotage our pack." The Luna stepped back.
There was a lot of shouting, I was called many names. A whore, a traiter, spoiled brat, a gold digger, a disgrace and many more. Some older members wanted me to be killed as I was a danger to pack's wellbeing. My mind was not working, I didn't know what to think.
"Alright enough! Let Sophia apologise so we can all leave, I don't know about you all but I have better things to do," Alpha Bruce said. All eyes were on me and I went to the stage got on my knees in front of the Alpha pair and showed my neck in submission. It was an out of body experience.
"Luna Victoria I apologise and Alpha Blaze I apologise sir. "
"Whatever. You should be dead for putting your hands on me," Victoria huffed.
I moved my attention to Blaze, he had guilt in his eyes but he said nothing and kissed his mate's forehead. Sky was howling in sadness.
We all left the meeting room and I went to my parents house. My parents didn't live in the pack house even though they had an apartment there. Caleb moved in there when he turned 18, I would have moved in with him if things were different. Nobody said anything for a long time.
"You will move in the pack house and live with other omegas," my dad said with no emotions at all. My heart sunk, I couldn't lose my family too.
"Dad please, you have to believe me," I said through tears.
"Don't ever call me that, you are no daughter of mine or part of this family. I have never been humiliated like this in my life, all because you wanted to be what, a luna?" he spat.
"Guys, you have to believe me, I'm.."
"Grow the fuck up Sophia and stop acting like a spoiled brat," Caleb said with a deadly look.
"Lauren you know me, you have to believe me, please." I needed someone to say they believed me so I didn't feel so alone.
"That's why I'm so disappointed in you Sophia. I know you had a crush on Blaze but I never thought you would take it this far," my so called best friend said calmly.
I knew right there that I had lost everything because I tried to claim my mate. I had no one, no family, no friends and no pack. I became an outcast, the unwanted.
"Pack your bags and leave, let this be the last time you step your feet in this house. Please do me a favour and stay away from my family," my dad, I mean Beta Turpin said and walked out.
I went to my room to get my stuff and went to the pack house. I was given the smallest room. I had a feeling it was a closet. There was a single bed and a small desk and nowhere to put my stuff. I pushed the bags under the bed, I guessed I would be using the shared bathroom.
