I felt the sun hit my eyes from the window in Jay's bedroom. I opened my eyes and started to move when I felt an arm around my waist. I turned slightly and saw Jay's chest was glued to my back and his arm was wrapped around me. I felt myself blush.

I tried moving but he started to wake up. I quickly pretended to be asleep. After a few seconds, I felt him gently slide his hand off me. I heard him laugh softly. A few more seconds later and I heard the shower turn on.

I got up and got dressed, I put on some sweatpants and an oversized shirt with the same sneakers as last night. I made the bed, then made my way to the kitchen to see if I could make some breakfast.

I was able to make some omelets with some veggies on the side and some coffee. Everything was ready when I heard someone knock on the door. I made my way over to the door. I opened it to find Adam standing there.

"Damn Jay! How do you do it man!" He shouted looking behind me. I saw Jay standing by the kitchen counter shirtless holding a cup of coffee.

"It's not what it looks like." I quickly added.

"Don't worry I won't talk." Adam winked at me before letting himself in.

"That's such a lie, you have the biggest mouth" Jay laughed as he greeted him.

"So Jay last night there was a burglary a few blocks away from firehouse 51 but you'll never guess what they stole." Adam sat down on the counter and began eating one of the omelets.

"Adam.." Jay tried to stop him.

"Clothes Jay! They stole clothes, oh and a necklace. Maybe we have a stalker situation on our hands but I mean-" Adam continued rambling on.

"Ruzek!" Jay raised his voice.

"What?" Adam asked with his mouth full of eggs.

"That was my apartment," I shut the door.

"Oh, my bad...sorry." Adam quickly apologized.

"No I mean don't worry, but yeah that's why I'm here... Jay was kind enough to let me stay over."

"Oh right, so it really wasn't what it looked like." Adam laughed now winking at Jay this time.

Jay slapped the back of his head. "Anyways, I should probably get going, I need to talk to my landlord, talk to Casey about the door and try to get things sorted," I told them.

"I can give you a ride." Jay quickly added.

"No, please Jay, I feel bad enough for all the trouble I caused. I'll take a cab, really." I told him grabbing my gym bag.

"I can drive you. You haven't caused me any trouble at all." Adam winked at me.

Jay and I both stared at him in silence for a couple of seconds. "You should probably take a cab." Jay threw a glare at Adam.
