Rong Yuhang stepped forward, his robes neat and clean. He smiled very naturally. "Father emperor won't mind me disciplining my sister now would he?"

Rong Xiuran had a cold look on his face. "Yuhang. You can argue with your siblings but you can't harm them."

Luo Mingli was also surprised at how daring Rong Yuhang was being right now. He knew how these two father and son pair didn't like each other but did he have to court death like this in public?

"Your son will be bold. I would like the key to the Rong's treasury for me and my partner to choose something."

The advisors by the emperor were shocked and immediately tried to dissuade the emperor. Even the people below thought he was being outrageous.

" Your majesty, the treasury holds all valuables from the Rong's long history and shouldn't be opened impulsively."

"This advisor also agrees. Only on important occasions should the treasury be opened."

Rong Xiuran frowned after listening."The treasury is a very valuable place. Why would you choose it? "

Rong Xiuran did not seem to expect that to be Rong Yuhang's response and turned to look at Luo Mingli with deep eyes.

Luo Mingli was now everyone's focus and he stood there calmly the entire time and hadn't spoken the entire time.

He had been directly ignored by all since he wasn't considered worthy of any attention.

Luo Mingli bowed again. "This one greets Your majesty."

Rong Xiuran felt a bit better seeing Luo Mingli's actions so he graciously allowed it.

"Alright. This emperor will give you the key to the treasury and you can pick one gift for yourselves each." Rong Xiuran signaled the person next to him and they brought out the key, presenting it to the emperor.

Rong Xiuran gestured and the servant who was holding the key went up to Rong Yuhang.

Rong Yuhang took the key without hesitation. "I'm leaving now."

Now that he had achieved what he wanted, Rong Yuhang had no reason to stay any further. He left through the door and into the hallways with Luo Mingli following who bowed again before leaving.

"We will be excusing ourselves your majesty. May your reign last for three generations."

Once they left, everyone else left after them once Rong Xiuran dismissed them. Now that he was alone, Rong Xiuran didn't need to hold back and his expression was as cold as ice.

Everything looked irritable from all sides, no one dared to do anything, afraid of angering the emperor.

His cultivation directly suppressed the surroundings and murderous intent dripped out form his body.

"Look at how disrespectful he was." The looming voice was scratchy and luring. "He's such an eyesore. I say, killing him is the best choice!"

Rong Xiuran closed his eyes, emotions wearing thin. He waved the voice away furiously. "Shut up."

"Why not?" The other voice continued to echo in his mind, a hint of malice and temptation intertwined. "He's just like him! Don't you hate him? Kill him! Don't be so soft hearted like that time."

"No." Rong Xiuran denied, face taut and ugly.

The last whisperings of the devil like voice fitted through before disappearing slowly into the distance. "Hehehe... You will kill him one day!"

The entire room became silent again.
