A/N: Hey guys, here is another chapter. The song this week is Tribulation by Matt Maeson because it's pretty amazing and I feel like it fits. Also if you guys have any song reccomendations for chapters I'd love to hear them. Anyways, I hope everyone's having a great week and also, how does everyone feel about the next book being set at an all boys school with a dark academia theme? Because I think that's what I'm going with and I'm excited for it.
Logan sat quietly on one of the couches in the living room, his cat in his lap, gently running his fingers through her soft white hair. Matthew was running around the house grabbing things to pack and Allen was calming packing them into suitcases upstairs.
"Did you pack your toothpaste and comb?" Matthew called upstairs from the downstairs bathroom.
"Yes, Dear." Allen called back.
"And your shampoo?"
"Yes."
"How many shirts do you have?"
"Four."
"And pants?"
"Enough to last the trip." Allen responded, walking down the steps with their suitcases.
"What if I run out of underwear?" Matthew asked.
"You borrow mine all the time anyways." Allen said and smiled, taking his husbands face gently. "We have everything."
"But I feel like we're forgetting something."
"We're not." Matthew smiled and took a breath before looking to Logan.
"Are you sure you're going to be okay while we're gone? Because I can stay here, I mean, everything's booked and we would need to give up our rooms but-." He asked and Logan smiled.
"I'll be fine, Dad."
"But what if-" Matthew started.
"Love, we're not staying, he'll be fine, he's practically an adult. Oliver will be with him anyways." Allen said.
"Alright, fine, we'll go." Matthew said with a sigh, walking over to the couch and Logan stood up with a small smile, hugging his dad. "I love you."
"I love you too, dad." He said, walking over to hug Allen. "You guys have a safe trip."
"We will, you stay safe too, remember to feed Dolly, and have fun..not too much fun." Matthew said and Logan laughed quietly.
"I will, don't worry."
"I want a phone call every night." Allen said and Logan nodded.
There was a knock at the door and Logan ran over to answer it, smiling when he saw his boyfriend standing in his leather jacket, black t-shirt with some worn black and white picture on it, and ripped jeans with his black boots.
"You ready to go?" Oliver asked and Logan nodded.
"In just a minute, they haven't left yet." Logan said with a small smile and Oliver stepped inside.
"Where are you boys going first?" Allen asked.
"To the art museum, they have a discount for couples and have a little exhibit for valentines day." Logan said happily.
"That's so cute, well I hope you two have an amazing time." Matthew said and Oliver nodded.
"You too." Oliver said with a smile.
"Well we really should be going now if we want to catch our flight." Allen said and Matthew nodded.
"Okay, love you! have a good weekend! Oliver, make sure he eats." Matthew said as he was pulled out the door to the car.
Logan giggled, taking Oliver's hand and walking out to his boyfriend's car.
"I can't tell you how long I've waited for this weekend." Logan said with a soft sigh, a smile resting on his face.

"Yeah, I know, you just can't wait to get in my pants, huh?" Oliver said with a smirk and Logan blushed, hitting his shoulder gently.
"No, I just miss you, I feel like we don't spend any time together." He said, getting in the car and Oliver walked around to the other side.
"I know, it's just been so busy with work and school, I hardly have a minute to breathe." Oliver said, buckling his seatbelt and starting the car. Annoyance, Burden, Wasteoffuckingspacetiringboringdisappointment. Logan shook the thoughts out of his head, swallowing thickly.
"Me too." Logan said distantly and Oliver glanced over at him.
"You still there, bear?" He asked and Logan realized he must have zoned off.
"Yeah, sorry, just kinda got off track for a second." He said.
"What were you thinking about?" Logan hated that question.
"Nothing really. Oh, we have to make sure to check out the sculptures, they have some really nice ones." Logan said and Oliver nodded.
"We've got a few hours before the museum closes." Oliver said, stopping at a red light. "You wanna put on some music?" He asked and Logan nodded so Oliver handed him the aux cord and Logan took it, plugging his phone and looking through his list of albums, picking a song.
"What's this?" Oliver asked, listening to the soft tune.
"Landfill, I've been getting into Daughter more recently, they're almost like Aurora but less of a nature theme." Logan explained.
"Huh, I kinda get more Billie Marten vibes off of it." Oliver said and Logan looked at him.
"Who?"
"You've never heard of her?" Oliver asked and Logan shook his head. "Look up Unaware." Logan nodded and searched it up quickly, starting it and listening to it while they drove.
"Yeah, I get what you're saying. Her voice is gorgeous."
"Isn't it? I love her stuff."
---
Logan took Oliver's hand, pulling him over to the Romantic Era art section of the museum, looking in awe over the paintings of landscapes, and women in adorned dresses, and soldiers on battlefields.
"I think this is my favorite era." Logan said. "Oh, John Constable, I love his landscapes, he basically revolutionized landscape paintings at the time. I mean, of course they were a thing before him, but he kinda gave the genre new life. And Christen Købke, his work is like, too good to exist, he sometimes painted portraits, sometimes landscapes, he was Danish. And Carl Gustav Carus, he painted a lot of buildings, he was a doctor too." Logan went on for a while, talking about his favorite artists and their accomplishments, tugging Oliver around and his boyfriend followed, a small smile on his face as he listened.
"Who's your favorite artist?" Oliver asked and Logan thought for a while.
"I don't know, I don't think I can decide." He said with a giggle. Logan wandered into an area that seemed to be a dead end, they were surrounded by paintings and then a large window where light poured in against the walls. He looked around a moment before tugging Oliver down to kiss him and his boyfriend, though somewhat surprised, complied happily.
"What was that for?" Oliver asked softly, still not standing up properly, his lips lingering a few inches from Logan's
"I dunno, I just wanted to." Logan said and Oliver chuckled, kissing him again gently, running a finger softly over his cheek and then down his neck. "I love you." Logan murmured softly and Oliver grinned against his lips.

"I love you too." Oliver said before pulling away, standing straight again. "You wanna go check out another section? We've got a few left and I don't wanna run out of time"
"Sure." Logan said, taking Oliver's hand again, walking over to the modern art displays.
---
Logan walked out of the museum, a smile never having left his face. He was smiling less often recently, maybe there were just less things to smile about, but that night had been perfect, well, almost perfect.
"Have you eaten anything for dinner yet?" Oliver asked and Logan could feel his stomach tighten.
"I'm not that hungry." Logan said and Oliver glanced at him.
"That wasn't the question."
"Maybe it should've been."
"Logan, I'm not going to fight with you about this all weekend." Oliver said with a sigh, running his fingers through his hair. Logan's eating habits had become the bulk of their arguments, mostly because Logan couldn't help but get defensive every time Oliver brought it up.
"Then don't."
"When's the last time you ate?"
"Earlier." Logan said, it was only a half lie, really.
"When is earlier?" Oliver asked and Logan looked away.
"Dinner."
"Yesterday?" Logan nodded, staring at his shoes. Oliver stared up at the stars, seeming frustrated. "Just..one meal, every day you're going to have one good meal." Oliver said and then looked at Logan who was silent so he gently took Logan's chin, tipping it up so he'd have to look at him. "One."
"Fine.." Logan said. "But no restaurants, and no cheese..or pasta." Logan said, not sure how many fear foods he could really unload on Oliver at once without him freaking out.
"Deal." Oliver said, walking out to the car. "What do you want for dinner tonight?"
"A ham sandwich?" Logan asked.
"And?"
"There's not usually an and." Logan said and Oliver unlocked the car.
"I don't care, there's one tonight. What else do you want?"
"Eggs." Logan said softly.
---
Oliver set a plate down in front of Logan with a ham sandwich (296), 2 eggs (180) and a glass of milk (124). He took a shaky breath, picking up his fork, trying to keep from crying. 296 + 180 + 124 = 600. For one meal? How am I supposed to finished it? That's what I should be eating in two days, not one meal. He swallowed thickly, looking up at Oliver, pleading with his eyes as he pulled at his fingers. Oliver gave a sympathetic sigh, gently running his fingers through Logan's hair.
"I need you to do this Logan, please." Oliver said, sounding desperate and Logan tried to swallow the lump in his throat. "I can't sit here and watch you starve yourself."
"I..I can't do it." Logan said, a tear slipping down his cheek and Oliver gently wiped it away.
"You can. You need to start taking care of yourself." Oliver said softly.
Logan grit his teeth, picking up his sandwich and staring at it. Disgustingfatpieceofshit, don't you fucking do it, do you just want to throw it all away? All of your progress? Are you fucking kidding me? He took a bite and chewed it slowly, trying not to cry as he worked his way through it. Then the eggs which he ate most of, and his milk. It's just food, Logan, why is this such a big deal? You're supposed to be in control here.
When he was finished, Oliver pulled him into a hug, kissing his head and holding him tightly.
"I'm so proud of you." He whispered and Logan couldn't help but smile a little, snuggling closer to him, trying to find whatever comfort he could amidst the unease that wouldn't go away. What are you still doing with him? he's going to ruin everything, he is the enemy. You are so fucking weak, you know that? Sofuckingweakstupidbitchslutclingyneedyannoying.
"I'm sorry." Logan said, sniffling.
"You don't need to apologize." Oliver whispered. "How about we go get ready for bed and watch a movie." He suggested and Logan nodded.
---
Logan stood in one of Oliver's sweaters, his own boxers, and a pair of pajama pants on the blacony outside his room, smoking a cigarette while he waited for Oliver to get out of the shower. He still couldn't stop thinking about dinner. He knew it was a problem at this point, he just hadn't quite realized how bad it'd gotten, but having a panic attack over 600 calories? He ran a shaky hand through his hair, his curls so dry and brittle, he didn't brush it anymore, at most he lightly combed it after a shower, it scared him too much feeling the hair break off, knowing that it shouldn't be thinning at 16. He shouldn't have to worry about osteoporosis or heart problems at 16 either, but here he was. You won't have to worry about it if you die before those things become problems.
He looked over with a small smile when he felt arms wrapping around his waist, Oliver's chin setting on his shoulder, kissing his cheek gently.
"Hey, can I get one?" Oliver asked and Logan smiled, handing his pack over for his boyfriend to take one.
"I'm sorry I freaked out at you earlier." Logan said softly and Oliver shook his head.
"It's alright, I get it, you were upset, I get that it's hard for you and I know I don't understand this, but I get addiction, it's hard to get better sometimes." Oliver said softly and Logan glanced up at him after a moment.
"You um..you said that you had to give up drinking with friends once..is that why?" Logan asked and Oliver nodded a bit, taking a drag of his cigarette.
"Yeah, turns out when I drink I turn into a fucking monster, but I also just..can't stop. It took months before Jace finally got me to quit for good, every time I tried I'd just fall back in deeper, going to parties didn't help."
"What was Jace like as a friend?" Logan asked softly. Oliver took a long pause, seeming to think about it, maybe he wanted to word it carefully.
"He was normal, I mean, he was insecure, and he was resentful of a lot of types of people, rich people mostly, people who had it easy growing up, his dad's got a lot of problems, he was in and out of jail. I think Jace just wanted someone stable but he never really got it. He wasn't a bad friend, not to me at least. Why do you ask?"
"He's dating Sy."
"Shit."
"Yeah."
"Are you okay?" Oliver asked and Logan stood there for a while, staring out into the neighborhood.
"No..I don't know, I guess I just didn't think I cared what he did, but I didn't expect that. Sy can date whoever he wants, I don't get to choose that. But it..it hurts, I just thought we were..closer than that? That he'd date someone who hurt me so much..I just, I don't know." Logan shrugged. "He wants me to talk to Jace, make up or whatever, he wants to apologize." Logan said, taking a drag of his cigarette.
"Are you going to do it?"
"I don't know, maybe."
"Even if you don't forgive him, it might give you closure." Oliver said Logan nodded a little.
"I know, I just don't know if I'm ready to move on." Logan said and Oliver crushed out his cigarette.
"There is no wrong option, though resentment is a thing that festers, it's best to put it out if you can before a spark becomes a forest fire." Oliver said and Logan thought about that for a moment, nodding.
"Can we watch Hercules first?" Logan asked softly.
"Sure."
