I stir slightly in my deep sleep as I feel a comforting warmth around me.

I move closer to the warmth as I hum contently.

Suddenly last night flashes back to me in snippets causing my heavy dry eyes to flutter open.

I immediately groan as the sunlight floats brightly into the room.

I notice Jordy snuggled into me as she stirs lightly in her peaceful sleep.

"Everything okay?" her raspy morning voice asks in concern.

How does she look so good first thing in the morning?

I nod briefly, "For the most part, except my eyes hurt really fucking bad," I complain as I close my dry eyes for a moment.

Jordy frowns softly, "I can go grab some eye drops and ibuprofen?" she questions and I shake my head.

"No it's okay baby—just stay here with me that'll make the pain go away," I say softly and her lips pull into a small smile.

"Pretty sure scientifically it won't—also I've never heard you call me baby before... It's cute," she declares and I blush slightly as I snuggle into her chest.

She grabs my warm neck before pulling my face out of her soft chest.

She gently tilts my head up allowing my dark eyes align with hers.

"Don't be shy," she murmurs and I smile softly.

"I can't help it," I whisper as her hazel eyes hold mine.

"Ugh," she groans and I furrow my brows in confusion.

"What is it?" I question and a big smile grows on her lips.

"Oh nothing—I just love that your voice is the first thing I heard this morning," she says smoothly, and I immediately feel a huge grin display on my lips.

"Jordy stop doing that," I scold.

She raises her sharp brows, "Doing what?" she questions defensively.

I then wrap my warm legs around her toned body as she lays on her side before flipping us over.

She lays on her back with parted lips as I sit lightly on her toned v-line.

"Though I meant it—wanting to kiss you I mean," I whisper lowly and her hazel eyes widen in amusement.

"I didn't take you for a breakfast in bed kind of girl," she remarks and I narrow my dark eyes at her.

I giggle as I pull Jordy's warm body into mine.

"Fifteen minutes," she yells earning light chuckles from Jordy and me.

"See this is nice," Eva points out as we all wait for our food to come out.

The quaint dinner is bustling with hungry college students as the smell of hot bacon and fresh coffee fill the air.

The red and orange trees outside spill with leaves as fall flows vibrantly through the air.

I'm so excited to spend all the core holidays with Jordy.

Halloween.

Thanksgiving.

Christmas.

And New Years'.

Fall is definitely the best season considering it leads up to all these beautiful holidays.

I think of it as the season that prepares us for the upcoming holidays.

It gets you all excited to celebrate, and most people are out planning and prepping ahead of time for the different holidays.

Life feels so easy and effortless in the fall, and with Jordy by my side again—life really does feel complete.

It's so weird to think how just yesterday confronting the real issue seemed like the hardest thing in the world—like I wouldn't make it the moment I admitted that I wasn't okay.

Like that was it.

Instead, everything has blossomed before me, and just how I wanted—everything turned back to normal.

Or I'd say better than normal.

"I know—with Bri and Jordy back it's like everything is how it's meant to be," Journee hums and I chuckle.

"That wasn't how you were acting this morning," I point out jokingly as I sip my orange juice.

Jordy chuckles beside me as her warm arm tightens around my waist.

Journee cringes again, "Ew—Bri stop making me relive it," she gasps earning more chuckles from Jordy and me.

Luca's eyes narrow along with Eva's and Sebastians, "I probably don't want to know what happened," Luca declares.

Eva and Sebastian nod with him.

"Yeah I'm sitting this one out," Sebastian declares as Eva silently sips her coffee.

Suddenly the bells to the dinner ring causing my eyes to snap toward the door.

Nova walks in as her lips pull into a smile at the sight of me.

I motion her over causing her to walk quickly toward us.

"Nova! You made it," I exclaim and her smile grows.

"I was relieved when you texted," she admits as she slides into the booth beside me causing Jordy and me to scoot down.

"Yeah I should apologize for last night I was just—"

"Bri," Nova interrupts me with a stern stare causing my face to drop slightly.

A soft smile quickly replaces the serious look, "Don't apologize. You were going through a lot, and in no way do I blame you for your outburst," she says honestly.

I nod briefly, "Thank you, Nova. That means a lot to me," I say gratefully and she nods quickly.

Soon our waitress returns with our hot food as she sits down the warm plates.

Nova quickly orders her drink and food before turning back to us.

"What'd you get?" she questions as I cut into my large pancakes.

I pause slightly as I turn to her with regret.

"Pumpkin pancakes," I breathe and her brown eyes widen.

She points her finger at me, "You are a pumpkin spice lover," she declares with raised brows.

Journee chuckles as she munches on a piece of bacon, "Bri has serious issues with pumpkin during the fall time,"

I frown, "But without the spice," I correct.

Eva narrows her eyes as she takes a bite of her biscuit, "That's not true," she adds and I scoff dramatically.

"It definitely is," I argue and Luca shakes his head.

"You don't remember fall of 2019 when-"

"Luca!" I cut him off and his eyes go wide.

"We don't speak of that," I whisper lowly earning laughs from everyone around the table.

I feel Jordy lean into my ear as her thumb draws small circles on my thigh, "You're so fucking cute Elle," she declares in a whisper and I feel a smile tug at my pink lips.

"I love you," I whisper back as I meet her hazel eyes.

I place lingering kisses all over her warm face while mumbling 'I love you' in between the soft kisses.

Jordy's smile only grows as she lets me before I capture her warm lips with mine.

I briefly pull back, "And I love you," I say it one last time and she shakes her head with a smile.

"I love you too Elle," she says with a wide smile.

Our eyes are pulled away from each other as we hear Eva gag.

"Oh trust me this isn't nearly as bad as this morning," Journee informs her as her face cringes slightly.

Jordy and I bust out into soft laughter as Nova looks at Journee in confusion.

"What happened this morning?" she asks and Luca shakes his head along with Sebastian.

"I'm sitting this one out—and you should too," Sebastian suggests to Nova earning a chuckle from her.

"I'm going to take your word on that," she declares as Sebastian presses a soft kiss to Journee's cheek.

We all enjoyed our nice hot breakfast as fall swirled in the air along with all of our laughs and chatter.

All I could think is how complete my life feels—I truly couldn't ask for anything better.
