《My Best friend's Sister (GxG)》You coming?

Journee's voice flows through the speakers, "Are you home?" and I look to Jordy who's calmly driving the luxurious car with ease.
"We're about to be why?" she asks answering her little sister.
"We?" Journee's question fills the car speakers.
"Yeah did you not notice Brielle and I aren't there?" Jordy asks and Journee lets out a loud sigh through the phone.
"No I didn't Jordy I just saw that your car was gone," she explains as her tone gets more irritated by the second.
"What's got you so pressed?" Jordy asks Journee calmly trying to not irritate her further and she sighs again.
"Oh not much just that everyone seems to be upset, and I have no idea what happened last night. On top of that you guys just left without an explanation and-" she goes into a rant.
"Woah, Woah calm down I can explain right now what happened. There's no need to be this stressed about it J,"
Jordy says calmly and I hear the phone go silent before hearing a calm breath escape Journee's mouth. "You're right," she agrees and I relax in the soft chair under me.
It's weird but, whatever the tone of the conversation is I always react to it. I could be completely calm and then a stressful or upsetting conversation can reflect in my body language.
"So Brielle and I had to leave before even seeing them to make matters less worse you know?" I tone back into the conversation between Jordy and Journee.
"No I get it, I can't believe Alex did that," Journee's shocked voice flows through the speakers. "Like I noticed her and Bri getting closer but I didn't want to bring it up with Bri until it got more serious," Journee explains and I see Jordy tense slightly at Journee mentioning Alex and me.
"Maybe I should've tried to talk to her about it so we could've analyzed her behavior, and maybe figured it out before all that unfolded," Journee admits with regret, and I see Jordy shake her head slightly.
"There's no way you could've known. I mean I was her best friend and even I didn't know," Jordy explains trying to reassure Journee.
"Was?"
Journee asks hesitantly and Jordy sighs in response. "Yeah I can't be her friend after this," Jordy says honestly and I try to read her expression to see if there are any sad emotions present. But there isn't.
"You've been friends since high school Jordy are you sure you want to give that up?" Journee clarifies with Jordy and my eyebrows raise slightly at the length of their friendship.
"I can't hold onto something because of how long it lasted Journee. It was a good friendship with bad and good moments, but I know I can't get past this, so I'm ready to move on," Jordy breathes out and I internally agree with her when she puts it into that perspective. "Not everyone is meant to be in your life forever," Jordy continues to explain so Journee understands.

My heart clenches at Jordy's statement knowing this was just a sensitive topic for us, and I see Jordy peer over at me quickly analyzing my features.
"Only a select few you know?"
She says before her brown eyes turn back to the road and I feel my stomach fill with butterflies at her words. She has always read my emotions and thoughts with ease, and it makes me feel so seen and heard. "Yeah I completely understand," Journee's comforting voice fills the car, and Jordy nods. "It sucks that life is like that, but at least you're stuck with me forever," Journee continues and Jordy chuckles at her statement.
"I know. I'm so lucky," Jordy jokes back causing Journee to let out a light laugh, and I smile at their interaction.
"Let me speak to Bri really quick," Journee says and I feel my body tense at the request.
"Brielle's asleep right now but I'll have her call you once she wakes up," Jordy says on my behalf with no hesitation.
"Bet well know that I'm always here if you need to talk J," Journee says gently and I see Jordy slightly smile at her words.
"I know Journee, I love you and I'll see you when you guys get home," Jordy says warmly as she pulls off the highway.
"Wait! should I let Alex and them stay tonight with us?" Journee asks with hesitance and Jordy chuckles.
"Of course. I still want her to be happy, and besides, I forgive her considering I don't want to hold anger in my heart," Jordy explains her feelings to Journee and I smile at how well Jordy has handled this situation. We pull into the driveway of their house and Jordy puts the car in park before relaxing in her seat.
"Yeah, that makes sense. Love you J see you tomorrow," Journee says and Jordy says a faint 'See you' before hanging the phone up. Jordy turns in the cushioned chair facing me completely with a slight smile on her face, and I raise a brow at her actions.
"What?" I ask confused and her smile gets brighter showing her white teeth.
"We get a night alone tonight," she exclaims, and I smile at her excitement.
"Pretty exciting," I say as a big smile forms on my lips.
"We don't have to go back to reality for another day," she says as she lets out a calming sigh before continuing.
"You didn't want to go public yet right?" she clarifies with me and I smile at her selflessness.
"No, unless you wanted to?" I clarify and she shakes her head before briefly exiting the car causing me to follow her actions.
"I say we have a swim day," she says as the sun beats down on my skin causing me to immediately agree.
We grab our bags before taking them to Jordy's room, luckily their parents are out of town so we have less explaining to do. Once we get settled I change into my lavender two-piece before pulling my brown crochet dress cover over it. I spray on some sunscreen before exiting the bathroom. I head to Jordy's room to put my previous clothes in my bag before heading downstairs.

I see her standing over the island counter as she cuts different arrangments of fruit. She's in cotton candy tie-dyed playboy swimming trunks with a white Nike sports bra, and a matching white muscle tank covering it. Her long caramel hair is slicked back as a black snapback covers it, and I notice she's wearing matching black Givenchy slides on her feet.
I walk further into the kitchen earning her attention causing her caramel eyes to meet mine. "I figured a fruit bowl would be refreshing for a day like this," she says as she puts all the separate piles of fruit into the giant bowl before mixing it together.
"That's a great idea," I say honestly as I sit on the island in front of her.
A smile dances on my lips as I watch her wash the fruit before draining it. She sits the bowl beside me before drying her hands and briefly putting the towel back where it was. She comes to stand between my dangling legs allowing my dark eyes to look down onto hers.
"Here try some," she says before reaching beside me towards the fruit bowl, her hand gently brushing my leg in the process.
Goosebumps spread onto the affected area as tingles shoot through my body. She holds a piece of medium-sized watermelon in her hand before bringing it to my mouth, and I look from the watermelon to her.
Our eyes lock as I take a slow and refreshing bite out of the watermelon causing her eyebrows to raise slightly at my actions. She retracts what's left of the watermelon away from my wet lips before eating the last of it. Her eyes analyze mine and I feel my insides swirl at the fact that she ate after me.
"You seem hot did you want to cool off in the pool?"
Jordy teases me and I feel my cheeks heat up. She chuckles at my reaction before continuing, "I mean you definitely are hot, especially with that on," she refers to my swimsuit as she looks down at my outfit.
Her fingers gently touch the end of my cover-up, and I gasp silently as I feel her fingers meet my covered thigh. "This is cute," she hums as she feels the material under her fingers. I feel myself heat up further due to her fingers basically rubbing my covered thigh.
Her fingers stop moving causing her hand to rest on my thigh as her caramel eyes look up to mine waiting for a response. "Thank you" I mumble as I analyze her expression, and I see her eyes look darker than usual.
I fix my composure before gently touching her exposed shoulder and her eyes snap to my hand on her. I move my hand slowly up to her soft tee, "This is cute," I say mimicking her actions, and she turns back to me with a smirk.
"I see what you did there," she says as her brow raises slightly and I tilt my head acting confused.
"I don't know what you mean," I say as I look back down to her tee before allowing my hand to go underneath the arm opening of the tee. I let my fingers softly feel her sports bra strap causing her to tense before briefly relaxing.
"This is cuter," I say as I meet her dark caramel eyes, and I notice an amused look on her face.
"Oh?" she asks entertaining my actions and I shrug in response.
I look back down to her tee before allowing my other hand to glide up her soft arm to her soft tee. "Actually it's hard to choose which ones cuter," I say as I look back at her and she tilts her head at me as her eyes analyze mine.
Her other hand gently places itself on my other thigh as both of her hands move their way up my thighs slowly. I feel the warmth spread through my body as she stops at my waist. Her eyes are locked on my body causing my fingers to gently grasp the material of her clothes underneath them.
"I think you have me beat on cute Elle," she mumbles before her eyes snap to mine, and I feel my cheeks heat up again. She turns her head to the side allowing her eyes to lock with my hands that are grasping onto her tee.
"Don't play this game with me Elle," she turns back to me, before leaning in closer allowing my heart to beat out of my chest. She leans past my face, and stops at my ear, "Because we know who will win," she whispers in my ear before pulling away completely allowing my hands to fall from her shoulders.
"Ready to get in the pool?" she asks as her hand brushes past my leg again before grabbing the bowl of fruit. "Figured you'd definitely want to cool off now," she says before popping a slice of strawberry into her mouth.
Nope, I definitely want you to take me on this counter.
I push the dirty thoughts away before hopping off the counter and walking past her. Two can play this game, and I will win. I open the back doors allowing the sun to meet my skin before slowly pulling the cover-up straps down my shoulders and allowing it to fall. It pools around my ankles, and I slowly bend over to grab it. I rise back up before turning around and seeing Jordy with her mouth slightly open.
"You coming?" I ask innocently and she rolls her eyes before walking toward me.
