"Asshole- he thinks he can smack my ass whenever he wants? He can go to hell. Jerkface." Steve was in the laundry room angrily throwing all of his (and Eddie's) dirty laundry into the washer while mumbling incoherent sentences.

He knows that's not what he's actually mad about. He's letting all of his emotions bubble up again and he took it out on Eddie. But it's not like they talk about those things- the only time they do is when one of them gets upset.

Which now that he thinks about it- isn't exactly what you'd call a healthy relationship.

"I'm a slut."

He stopped moving and just stood there, thinking to himself. All this time the two had been spending their time together, they were always locked away in a room. They've never even gone out on a date. He's honestly surprised at how long he waited to have sex with him.

"Fuck fuck fuck. Goddamnit." He threw the rest of the clothes in and started it, grabbing the load he did before out of the dryer and taking it in the living room to fold. Steve knows Eddie cares about him, they're just both kind of bad at showing it.

For christ sakes Steve's only been in one realish relationship and it didn't exactly turn out great. He doesn't really know how to act in a relationship now that he thinks about it. He remembers the first parts of when he dated Nancy- when they were happy and didn't care about anything else. But people grow up, he has to care about things now, especially if he wants this to last.

And he does.

"Fucking hell." He was so confused at how much he cared for the man, it was almost frustrating. He pisses him off almost daily, teases him without even trying, and takes up almost every hour of his days. But then again, he couldn't really complain about any of those things. At the end of the day Eddie will always make sure Steve's smiling, that he's told him he loves him, and that he feels safe. And those will always overrule anything else.

He walked angrily to his room and put his folded clothes away, finally having time to put his boxers and pants in the dresser that hasn't been used in a month. He hung up his shirts and stared at Eddie's for a second, before deciding to hang them up with his in the closet.

I mean, Robin did say we basically live together. He might as well have some clothes here that aren't in a bag. He smiled at Eddie's raggy t-shirts hanging up next to his clothes and rolled his eyes to himself going over to see what else he had in the bag.

He had a little less than an hour before he had to pick Robin up and- what the hell?

In the mix of t-shirts and ripped jeans, Steve found his hand touching round, warm metal. Oh my god oh my god oh my god. He grabbed the thing carefully and lifted it up, bracing himself for anything that could kill him. But they didn't. Because while they could come in handy for killing someone, Steve was almost ninety-nine percent sure that's not why Eddie brought them.

The pair of handcuffs dangled from his hand and he just stared at them in curiosity, wondering what the hell gave Eddie the idea to bring them. Stay on track, this isn't important right now.

He pushed them away from his mind and put them back in the bag, pondering the thought of putting the rest of his clothes up with his own. He doesn't want Eddie to feel like he has to stay here, because of course he doesn't. But the thought of waking up to him every morning does something to Steve's heart.

He did however put the man's toothbrush in the bathroom, along with the cologne, nail polish, hair brush, and ponytails. He's dating a girl. He is letting a girl fuck him-

How did this happen and he not know?

He giggled (in a manly way of course) at the thought of his boyfriend's hair up in a bun and black nail polish painted on. That's fucking adorable. He looked down at the clock on the table beside his bed and through Eddie's bag down, throwing the shorts off and hopping into a pair of jeans on his way out of the door.

"Oh look! You found pants!"

Steve turned towards his best friend walking towards his car and gave her a bemused smile, taking the cigarette away from his lips. "Haha, I did my laundry shit head." She breathed a sigh of relief and slumped over the side of the car. "God finally, does that mean you pulled the stick out of your ass while you were at it?"

Steve turned around to look at his read and pulled something out, flipping off Robin out of pure adoration. "Don't be rude Stevie." He took another draw out of his cig and his eyes focused on the man walking out of the school. Steve had sunglasses on, so Robin couldn't tell who he was looking at, but figured it out as soon as she turned in the direction.

"Already planning on making up with him? That's pretty fast for what I saw this morning." He grimaced at the morning and how frustrated he had been, giving her a dry and distracted laugh in return. Another draw to his lips, but his breathing hitched when the man looked up at him, almost stopping in his place. Steve offered him a small smile and his boyfriend took steps as if he was on a mission.

"Steve look I'm sorry that I-" He was stopped by two hands holding his face and a deep kiss being placed on his lips. Eddie stood there in shock, obviously confused by the man's change of heart from this morning- he hadn't even apologized yet. He eventually soaked it in and placed his hands on Steve's hips, pulling him closer.

Steve placed his hands on Eddie's chest and pushed away a little bit, needing space to take a breath and think clearly. "I uhm- I did our laundry. I actually hung some of your shirts up in the closet- you know so you have some for when you stay."

"You just kissed me."

"Uhm yeah?"

"In front of a bunch of people, at school."

"I-I did do that. I'm now regretting it. Not kissing you of course- I'd never regret that. Just with the thing that happened last time and I don't want anyone to bother you-"

It was Steve that got cut off this time, the hands placed on his face pulling him in for another kiss and leaning their foreheads together. "I missed you."

"God loser I missed you too."

Eddie laughed, "you really know how to whoo a man."

He laughed back, "I thought you were the one that was doing the whooing?"

Steve stepped back one more time and gave Eddie a soft look. "I just think we need to talk okay? Not right now of course, but have an actual talk- hopefully where neither of us are crying. Just figure some stuff out I guess."

Eddie pouted, "does this mean I don't get to smack your ass anymore?" He tried to dodge the hand that smacked him in the back of head, but failed in the attempt. "Could you be serious for at least three seconds?"

"Okay fine I'm sorry love. I- I have club tonight but if you want me to- I can come home after and we can talk, about whatever you want."

"Okay."

"Okay?"

Steve smiled at him, "okay."

Eddie leaned in and gave him another soft kiss. "Okay."

Steve whispered against his lips, "I love you, you know that right?" Eddie made a humming sound as if he had to think about it for answering, "I guess. I mean you do tell me all the time so-"

"I can stop."

"I'd really rather you not do that princess."

Steve rolled his eyes, "what time is it over tonight?" He shrugged his shoulders, "should be about nine. I'll be right over after?" Steve gave him a small smile and nodded his head, "yeah."

Eddie took the cigarette out of Steve's hand and stubbed it out against his jacket, making Steve's eyes go wide. "What the hell Eddie!?" He threw it on the ground and kissed Steve forehead, "it's bad for you." He said that like it was the most normal thing in the world coming from him. "You smoke. I've seen you smoke. I smoke with you."

"Yes love, but I do it recreationally, you do it when you're stressed. That's a bad habit, and I won't have my boyfriend dying early age from it." Steve rolled his eyes and pulled another one out of his pocket, lighting it and putting it in between his lips. "The only thing that could kill me early age, is the amount of stress you give me."

"You're not wearing my vest."

Steve looked down at his body and notices that no, he was not. "I didn't even notice. I guess I didn't put it on this morning. I wonder what could've distracted me so much that I forgot to put on the one thing that I wear almost everyday now. Oh yeah." He made dirty eyes at his boyfriend who tried to conceal a smirk.

"You liked it."

"That's not the point Munson."

"But you're not telling me I'm wrong."

"No, but if you pull that shit again, I won't be wearing any of your fucking clothes. And they sure as hell won't be hanging up in my closet."

"Demanding, I like it. Finally some authority to put me in my place."

Steve took a long drag and waited at least ten seconds before letting it out. The burn helping some of the thoughts of punching his boyfriend in the face. "You irritate me."

"Obviously, it's my job." His eyes moved over to something at the school and big smile grew on his face. "Turn around."

"What? Why?" Eddie grabbed Steve's hips and turned him around, using his hands to angle his view point in the right direction. "That's why."

Steve saw two girls leaning against the school walls laughing, and smiling widely at each other. The one with shorter hair had her hand resting on the other's arm and she had a warm smile on her face and eyes filled with adoration.

"Holy shit."

"Holy shit indeed Harrington."

"How the hell did she get all the way over there without me noticing?"

Eddie's chin rested on Steve's shoulder and his arms around his waist. "Well I guess you could've been kind of distracted." A small smile grew on Steve's face and he let out a small laugh at the man he loved, "yeah I guess a little."

"They're cute together." Steve nodded his head frantically in agreement, "yes they definitely are." A small kiss was placed on his temple, "not as cute as us though."

He turned around and faced Eddie, an amused smile on his face. "Are we cute? I don't know, looking at you kind of grosses me out."

Eddie rolled his eyes and rubbed his thumbs over Steve's sides. "Say all the shit you want, I know you like me." Steve looked at the sky in contemplation, "do I like you? Yes. However it would suck to not like the person that moved into your house without your permission."

"Without your permiss-? What happened to, oh Eddie please stay. Oh Eddie can I please sleep in your shirt. Baby will you please lay with me?"

Another drag, twenty seconds.

"Since gay marriage isn't allowed, does it still count as domestic abuse if i beat the shit out of you?"

A smirk grew on Eddie's face, "you already thinking about marrying me Harrington?"

He scoffed, "please, you'd be awful to live with. You irritate the piss out of me, wake me up abruptly every morning, and you make me late to almost everything."

"Baby stop, you're making my heart soar."

Steve laughed and leaned his head against Eddie's chest. "Well you do it to me so often I thought I'd try it out for once."

He kissed his chest through the shirt and stepped back, "you have a club to get to." Eddie smiled at him and continued to rub circles, "that I do." Steve gave him a small laugh, amused my his lack of enthusiasm. "Still your favorite thing to do?" He smiled, "not anymore."

Steve froze, he wasn't sure if that was supposed to be sexual but it came out so genuine and sweet that- it confused him.

"Yeah, no that didn't come out the way I planned it to." Eddie rubbed the back of his neck and Steve could swear he saw a tint of red on his cheeks. Steve wrapped his arms around the man's neck and cooed, "awe big boy are you embarrassed? It was sweet Munson don't worry."

Eddie rolled his eyes and stole a peck before opening Steve's door for him. "I still prefer the other name." He rolled his eyes back and smiled, "one day baby, just maybe." He got in his car and shut the door, rolling the window down.

"And don't call that our home."

Eddie stood there confused, "what?"

"You always say you're coming home. That house- it's not our home. When- if we live together, it'll be somewhere a lot better than that house. And it'll be ours."

Eddie went quiet for a second, "Harrington, I wasn't calling that house home."

"I was calling you that."
