Steve snuggled into the man next to him and sighed. It felt as if his body has molded with Eddie's and that he was melting into him. He rubbed the arm hooked around his waist and turned Eddie's arm to look at his watch. "Shit, shit, SHIT!"
Steve jumped out of the bed and searched around the room for his shirt, finding it neatly folded on Eddie's side table. His heart warmed at the thought of Eddie doing that for him, but shook it off and threw his shirt on, grabbing the vest underneath it.
"Steve? What the hell are you doing?" Eddie's voice was rough, and it drove Steve insane. He turned to look at the half asleep man, "I have to go! I was supposed to pick Robin up an hour ago!" He ran to the kitchen to grab his car keys and ran back to Eddies room, jumping onto the other man. Steve kissed him, placing a hand on one of his soft cheeks. Right now he felt like Eddie was the most fragile thing. Like if he tried to hard, he'd break him.
Eddie wrapped a hand around the back of Steve's neck, deepening the kiss for a second before pulling away. "Okay, I feel a little bit better now." Steve laughed and gave him another kiss, pulling away before he lost his willpower. "I gotta go Munson. Try having some restraint today and don't show up at my work. I don't want you to hear the awful things I have to say about you."
Eddie chuckled and his eyes flickered to Steve's lips, "one more?" The man groaned at him but gave in to Eddie's stare. He leaned down, softly brushing their lips together. Eddie groaned at him, "Steve." He let out a soft laugh, swooping down for a peck that lasted a second before jumping off the bed and running out of the door, footsteps following behind him. Eddie stood at the door, barely catching up with the other boy. "Have a good day shit head!" Steve pulled out and whipped the car around, speeding out of the park.

Steve slammed on the breaks in front of Robin's house and waited for the seething woman to get in the car, slamming the door. "What the hell, Steve? Your an hour and a half late!" He winced and sped towards their workplace, "I know, I know! I'm sorry! I fell asleep and didn't have an alarm or anything!" Robin's eyes roamed Steve in confusion, "your hair's not done like it usually is. It doesn't even look like you did anything with it at all. Are you sick?"
Steve's eyes shot to his mirror and tried to fix his hair. "Shit! No, I'm not sick, I spent the night at Eddie's and I was already late to come get you so I didn't even think about it!" Robin pushed her bottom lip out and smiled sweetly at him, "you skipped your hair, for me?" Steve rolled his eyes and smiled at her, glancing over for a second. "Yes Rob, I skipped my hair for you."
They pulled in and Robin turned to Steve, trying to fix his hair. "Well don't do it again. You look like shit without this hair. And I need you to bring the ladies in. Boyfriend or no boyfriend." She kept getting the knots out and he winced, "he's not my boyfriend Rob." She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Well, I did say boyfriend or not. Plus, you can't act like you don't like him. Just what I saw yesterday there was a bunch of tension between the two of you." He smiled lightly but grunted when she pulled on his hair, getting a knot out. "Yes, I do like him, but there's so much going on and I just, I miss talking to you about it. It's just a lot to think about it and go through."

The woman finished on his hair and grabbed his face. "You're not alone Stevie. I've been here the entire time and you can talk to me whenever you're ready. You know you're my best friend right?" He chuckled, "yes I know Robin, you remind me all the ti-" Steve jumped in his seat when someone knocked on his window. Eddie was standing there, a sullen expression on his face.
Steve unbuckled his seatbelt and got out of the car immediately, "hey what are you doing here?" He gave him a smile, but it wasn't returned. "I uhm-" He cleared his throat and looked up taking a deep breath, "you left my vest at the trailer so I wanted to bring it to you, but it doesn't really seem like you need it." Steve's face twisted in confusion, "what are you talking about? Of course I want it." He put his hands on Eddie's cheek and tried to make him look at him, "Eddie what's wrong? Did something happen?"
Eddie shoved the vest at Steve and backed away, "I'm just a fucking idiot apparently Harrington." Steve tried walking to him, but Eddie got in his van and sped away, leaving Steve standing there dumbfounded and hurt.
Robin walked up to Steve and stood next to him, "what was that about?" Steve just stood there, lifting Eddie's vest to his face, "I have no idea."
