"-Eve! Steve!" Steve was shaken out of his trance by his best friend, literally shaking him by the shoulders. "Shit sorry Rob, I don't know why I keep doing that." Yes he does. So does she. "Well, could it possibly be the man that caught you like a deer in headlights last week?" She gave him a knowing smile, even if he said no, she'd know he was lying.

"I just keep thinking about him, I don't know why. He's all that I've been thinking about since stupid fucking Henderson brought him in." He knows his younger friend didn't mean any harm, but all this was obviously still his fault. Steve groaned and leaned his head up against one of the wall shelves. "Have you, I don't know, tried talking to him?" Steve's head shot up to look at his best friend, who was conveniently looking everywhere but at him. "And what the hell would I say Robin? 'Oh hey old friend! Remember when you used to suck my dick in the woods! Yeah I do too! We should try it again some time!" His face deadpanned and he let out a whine. "Well, I personally wouldn't be that forward. But if you're feeling up to it, go ahead!"

He rolled her eyes at her and continued to put the vhs's back in their places. "Besides Robin, I don't even know if he likes me anymore, It was three years ago." She didn't respond after a couple seconds so Steve turned around to find two familiar faces at the door, and Robin with wide eyes. "You don't know if who likes you anymore?" Dustin's face was filled with confusion, and Steve was wondering how he missed the damn bell on the door.

"Uh- you know, just-." Robin cut him off, "his granpdpa! Steve hasn't seen him in three years and they got in a big fight. So he's just worried that if he tries talking to him, his grandpa might still be upset." Steve wanted to throw up, it was a good enough cover up, and he's thanking god he didn't say Eddie's name. Steve looked up at Eddie, and his eyes were concentrated on him. "Didn't your grandpad die a couple years ago?" Steve gave Dustin a look of annoyance before shooting at him, "a man can have multiple grandpas Henderson."

He could tell that Eddie barely believed his story, but as long as they didn't have to talk to each other about any of that stuff, Steve would be fine. "Anyways, we were just coming to make sure we were all set for movie night. And to, you know, actually get the movies." Steve's head filled with confusion. Movie night, what movie night? He looked over at his best friend, whose face was filled with guilt and not making eye contact with Steve. "Yeah, you know we're all good. Steve and I can pick out the movies and bring them back to the house on our way out."

Steve was baffled, how was all of this planned without him knowing? How was he apart of the plans, without knowing?! "Steve, you good over there?" Dustin sent a look his way and Steve gave him a tight smile, "yeah dude of course, you go ahead, Rob and I are just going to have a quick little chat."

The two guys walked out, the taller one not saying a word the entire time. Steve marched his way over to the counter where Robin was boxed in. "What. The. Hell. Rob." She gave him a small laugh, "well you see, Dustin actually called during your break to see if you'd be cool having a movie night at your place, and that everyone would be coming."

"Who's everyone Robin?" She looked away, "oh you know, Dustin, Lucas, Erica, Max, Nancy, me, eddie." She whispered the last name, but he still heard it. He couldn't tell if he wanted to throw up or kill her. Maybe he could do both. "Robin Buckley I thought you were my best friend!" She threw her head up and groaned at the ceiling, "look all of us are going to be there, it's not like anything that bad could happen between the two of you! Plus Dustin really wants you two to get along and I know how important he is to you."

The last part softened Steve up a little bit, she was right. Maybe he is making a big thing out of it. It was three years ago, Steve had moved on at one point. Maybe so did Eddie. The thought alone hurt Steve physically to think about. "And, and. If it really is bothering you, it'd be a good chance to talk to him, maybe help yourself figure some things out." Robin gave Steve a warm smile, knowing she talked her way out of it while also helping out her friend.

"Fine. So what movies are we watching?"
