It was now 8:00 pm and Steve was taking Dustin to Eddies trailer for their- club. "Are you ever going to even try to talk to him?' Dustin broke the silence, earning an eye roll from Steve. "Henderson look, there's just a lot there that you don't know about okay?" He could sense the next question and quickly cut him off, "and don't need to know, kid." Dustin sighed and slid down in his seat, Steve was just bringing everyone down today. He sighed, "Henderson look, would it make you feel better if I told you, I don't hate him? Because I don't. I'm just not totally comfortable with him, or the thought of you being around him so often."

The younger one sat up a tad bit and pondered it for a second. "That'll have to do for now your royal highness. Thank you, it does make me feel better." Steve gave him a small smile and pulled up to Eddies trailer. " So you want to come in and watch us thi-" He cut himself off meeting the look on Steve's 'are you kidding me, I just told you I was uncomfortable around him' face. "Yeah, yeah. Okay, I'll be out at ten." Steve groaned, "if you're not outside when I get here, I'm leaving you!" He had to yell the last part, as Dustin was already out of the car and halfway to the trailer.

Steve rolled his eyes and drove away, hoping for some sleep before he had to leave again. Which in fact, did not happen. He got home and threw himself on the bed, closing his eyes. But all the boy could see was an irritated smile with brown curly hair framing it. Steve groaned, slamming his head back into the pillow. God dammit, he thought.

He remembers how easy it used to be for the two of them. How easy it was for them to communicate back then. Now Steve can barely hold himself together around the guy. It was embarrassing. He was shaking and could feel his face heat up as soon as the man got close to him. He was like a little girl around him. It didn't used to be that way though.

Steve smiled at the memories, meeting up at skull rock with Eddie, spending time together in the woods behind the school, passing glances in the hallway, trying not to take the shorter boy in the bathroom. He was so god damn cute then, but now, he was hot. So very hot. From the sound of it, Eddie would be the one taking him now.

He let out a small chuckle at the thought and realized he wasn't going to get any sleep like this. So he decided to make himself some dinner instead to pass the time. His parents weren't home, but of course they never were. You would barely even be able to tell they lived here if it weren't for the damn house.

It's been over an hour now, by the time he gets to Eddie's he might have a few seconds to sneak a peek at their campaign. Not that he cares, but just to see what all the hoot is about.

Steve parked his car and got out, making sure to lock his door before walking up to the trailer and opening the door as quietly as he could. He slid in and leaned up against the wall watching a table full of nerds, most of which he knew, concentrate hard on whatever the hell Eddie was going on about behind the make-shift cardboard wall he built. Eddie looked up and made eye contact with the latter, seeming surprised for a second as Steve gave him a smirk and two fingered solute.

"And that's where we're ending it today guys. I'll see you in a couple days my young padawans." They all groaned at him, some even throwing back snarky remarks. "Steve? How long have you been standing there?" Dustin walked up to him, Lucas and Erica following behind. "Long enough to know that I will never be interested in playing this." He gave the three of them a sarcastic smile, and then questioned why there were three of them standing in front of him, waiting. "Don't you two have somewhere to be?" Erica's eyebrow shot up and before she could release her fire upon him, "Dustin said you wouldn't mind taking us home, since you were already taking him."

What the hell. No, no this is not what he signed up for. He groaned, obviously not having any other choice. There was a deep laugh that sounded from behind the three children, and Steve looked back to find Eddie staring at the three of them, a smile plastered on his face. Steve took a deep breath mustering all the courage and energy he had left in him for the night. "Something funny back there Munson?" The smile immediately left the man's face and his eyes went wide. Steve could just barely see Eddie's face turn pink. Steve granted him with another smirk as he raked his eyes up and down the shorter man's body. Eddie's eyes had gone wide and Steve took that chance to turn and walk out the door, telling the kids to give there goodbyes and get the hell in the car before he left them.

"How'd you do that man? I mean you totally caught him off guard!" Lucas looked up at Steve in astonishment and Steve just chuckled, "just get to know the dude." It was a vague answer, but the best part was that it was going to confuse the kids, and they wouldn't say anything to him for the rest of the night.
