Alexa looked at me. "Riley, she's obsessed with you."

I laughed. "Yeah, but there's only one person I want obsessed over me and I hope she is because I am with her."

She laughed. "That's not funny! She's a fucking psycho."

I grinned. "She's probably all talk and no action."

Alexa didn't look convinced. She had a varied mix of emotions in her eyes. "Alexa?" I called. She wasn't responding. "Alexa?" I waved a hand in front of her face. What's going on? "Alexaaa!" I shouted. No response. I shook her, and she snapped out of it. "Sorry, flashback."

I cocked my eye brow. "Would you like to elaborate?"

She sighed. "Please Riley, don't make me tell you."

"Now, I'm making you tell me. Alexa, you're blanking out. Tell me what's wrong?" I asked softly.

"Riley. Seriously, drop it." She started walking away.

"Don't walk away from me, Alexa. I'm sick of people walking away from me!" I shouted. I honestly don't know where that came from. My pleads caused no response which heightened my desperation, she kept walking. I ran over to her and I grabbed her arm.

"Alexa, please don't leave." I begged. She stared at me for a few minutes before her expression softened.

"Riley, it's not safe for you to be around me." She looked down and I could see her fighting tears.

"What are you on about?" I asked.

She stared at me again. "Riley, I killed my fucking parents."

I stared at her stepping forward. "Okay, you must have had your reasons."

She dropped to her knees and she started to sob. I pulled her into me. Her head was in my chest and I could feel hear tears soaking my top.

I cupped her face. "Let's go back to my place. Ill put the kettle on and we will talk, okay?" she nodded. I helped her up and I drove home.
