Riley's P.O.V- The coffee shop

I was genuinely scared for what Alexa would ask and I made the panicked decision and promised not to leave. She took a deep breath. "Why do you need the medication?"

I looked at her. I knew that question was going to be asked. I turned my gaze to the entrance and then I turned my head wanting to dart to the toilets. The raven haired knew what I was doing, she reached for my hand and a wave of calm and purity washed over my whole body. She squeezed my hand reassuring me."It's okay. Just tell me. I'm not going anywhere." Is it really okay? I can't open up to someone without my heart threatening to break my ribs, my head feeling like its detached from my body and feeling like the remainder of my previous meal is threatening to make a reappearance.

She took my other hand, her glare never leaving me. I melted, my body felt oddly calm, even though I want to made a dash for it I don't at the same time. I'm going through so many contradictions since I met this beautiful specimen. Why do I feel so attracted to her? I closed my eyes and I took a deep breath. My hands started to tremble, Alexa squeezed them as if she was reading my mind. "Hey, let's go somewhere less public."

I nodded my head. "That sounds like a great idea." I paused as I looked at my mug casually blurting out: "Yasmin's over her new best friend's house for the night if you want to come over for abit and talk?"

Alexa studied me, she was contemplating it, worry and excitement radiated from her body to me, breaking the silence I smiled; "It's okay, if you can't."

She shook her head finally realising this wasn't a dream. "No, it's fine. Let's go." We bought more coffees to go and she followed me home in her car.

I got into the house and Alexa sighed in amazement. "This apartment is amazing."

It was nice. We had a great sized living room with the colour scheme grey and white. The sofa was in the middle of the room with a grey rug and a glass coffee table. The kitchen was joined into the living room and the cupboards were cream and the worktop was grey not granite.

I looked at Alexa who looked like she was going to pass out. "Are you okay?" I asked with a minor chuckle.

She smiled. "Yes. But, you said you lived here with your mom?"

I rolled my eyes. "We haven't seen her in 2 weeks. She dragged us from Wales to here and then she met a man and we get a text every couple of days to say that she won't be home."

I felt myself getting annoyed, it dawned on my that I hadn't taken my evening tablets. "Do you want anything to drink or eat?" I asked trying to be a good host to a very attractive guest.

The older haired woman looked over to the counter I was preparing on. "Tea would be amazing."

I laughed and flicked the kettle on. I grabbed two mugs and put tea bags in them. I poured myself a glass of water as I picked up my tablets, I then walked to the bathroom. I turned to Alexa "Make yourself at home, I'll be out in a minute." She'd obviously been watching me.

"Thank you. You know you can take your tablets here. I'm not going to comment on the way you swallow them." A hint of disappointment in her voice lingered. I couldn't help but feel guilty.

I laughed. "I know, I like to take them in my room."

Alexa threw me a curious glance and I walked off. I walked into the bathroom and praised myself for cleaning it yesterday.

I came back out and Alexa was pouring hot water into the mugs. I walked toward Alexa and she jumped spilling the scorching water all over her hand. "Fuck, Ow. That's fucking boiling!" I ran towards her. Grabbing her hand, reaching for the tap twisting the knob full power on cold. I paid attention to her burn. Deciding if it was a going to be a first or second degree. I kept it under the tap. I couldn't help but laugh at the circumstances. "I left you alone for two minutes." I spat out, before leading into a laughing fit between the pair of us. I couldn't ignore the warm sensation that ran through my body hearing the laughs escape her mouth.
