Alexa's P.O.V

I can't help but let my eyes wonder over at Riley. She was a completely different person earlier, She was so vulnerable so lost and hopeless. After those tablets made their way into her system something in her shifted as if there was a light switch that turned on enlightening her. I was happy enough to be there for her, It felt right. I took her hand subconciously, it fit perfectly with mine. I had a wave of tingles going up through my arm. When our faces were almost touching, and I cupped her face it took every fibre of me to not lean in and touch her lips with mine. God, I'd love to know what she tastes like. Would it be minty? Sweet? Ugh. I have to stop this but having willpower was always my weakest point.

This morning in the café really has done a number on me. She fascinates me, She's so mature and independent. So modest, she didn't want praise for anything. By the tone of her voice I could read that she doesn't enjoy talking about herself. I can't keep my eyes off her. The way she squints whilst reading her paper, the way she tenses when she concentrates, the way she's biting her pen. A rush of butterflies started to erupt in my stomach.

I think she's staying over Heathers tomorrow that I could just about lip read. There was something odd about Riley when she responded. Almost as if she was pressuring herself into going. I don't want her to go. She doesn't know Heather that well. I shouldn't feel jealousy but I do, what does that mean?

I need to know if she's okay now... Her personality switched, and it intrigued me. She is different. One side of her is calm, collected, stable and then when she hasn't had her medication she's lost, unwilling and she can't cope. There must be a reason as to why that is.
