Imarina's POV

Matt and I are hanging posters for the live band at the grill tonight at his school. When Caroline appears. We exchange greetings and she looks at the poster. "Live band?" she asks.

"Yeah, business has been a little slow. The Grill's trying to stay afloat" Matt explains.

"If tonight isn't a success I'll be the first to go as the newest employee" I add.

"Have you heard from Tyler?" Matt asks her.

"Not a peep. You?" she asks him.

"No, not since he stopped by the Grill to talk, and I've left messages on his cell phone" Matt states.

"He stopped by to see you?" I ask curious.

"What did he say?" Care asks him.

"Not much, really. I mean...I think to say good-bye without really saying good-bye. I just didn't know it" Matt explains. "Oh he also said to be careful around you" he adds looking at me. I roll my eyes as Jaguar sniggers.

"And that's all he said?" Care asks him.

"Yeah. Yeah, that's all he said, Caroline. Why? I mean, is there something you want to tell me?" Matt asks her.

"Oh look at the time, I'm late for my shift. See you tonight at the grill Matt" I say and leave them. So do not want to be there for that talk. I get a call from Bonnie. "Hey Bon-bon, what's up?" I ask her.

"Elena, Caroline and I are having a girls night tonight. I was wondering if you'd like to join us" she states.

"I would, but I have a shift at the grill tonight" I tell her sadly. "Another time though, definitely" I add.

"Ok, well we'll be at Elena's if you get let off early" she tells me.

"Got it, have fun" I tell her and hang up as I reach the grill. I clock in and put on my apron, then put my hair in a ponytail. I go straight to work.

"Imarina, glad I found you" the manager says as she finds me on my break. "I know we scheduled you for a double shift. But one of our regulars child just had an accident and they need extra money for the hospital bills. So is it ok if you don't work tonight?" she asks me.

"Yeah that's fine, means I can go to girls night I was invited too" I tell her.

"Great, so your shift ends at 4:45. Feel free to come back with your friends for the band tonight. The more customers the better" she tells me.

"Sure thing boss, see you later" I say and get back to my shift. I work until the end and clock out. I go back to the boarding house and change clothes. Then go to Elena's and knock on the door.

"Imarina, welcome" Jenna says with a smile when she opens the door.

"Hi Jenna, I'm here to hang out with Elena and the girls" I tell her.

"They're in the kitchen, follow me" she says. I enter the house shutting the door behind me. We head to the kitchen to see the girls already around the kitchen bunch.

"Imarina, you made it. I thought you had work" Bonnie says smiling.

"Got let off early" I state as I join them.

"How are you doing?" Elena asks Jenna.

"You heard about my fight with Ric" she says.

"He feels terrible" Elena tells her.

"Is this some kind of disguised attempt to cheer me up?" Jenna asks her. Elena looks at us girls.

"No. No, this is about us girls hanging out and you know, we'll be here if you happen to want to talk, or..." Elena trails off.

"Because I am a winner when it comes to successful relationships" Caroline adds.

"You to huh?" Jenna asks.

"You have no idea" Care tells her. Jenna decides to join us.

"It's this whole Isobel thing. He's hiding something from me" Jenna tells us.

"I know I'm new here and have little experience with guys. But can I say something?" I ask and Jenna nods her head. "Maybe there is a great reason why he's not telling you. Maybe he is just trying to protect you from something" I tell her.

"Well, that's not his call to make. I mean, I deserve the truth. Everybody does" Jenna states.

"Sometimes it's harder than that" Caroline tells her.

"Not if it's somebody you care about, it isn't" Jenna states.

"You know what we need? Dancing" Caroline announces.

"There is a band at the Grill" I add smiling. They all agree to go. So we get our things and leave for the grill. We arrive to see the band already playing.

"I need a drink" Jenna states.

"Same" I say and we both head for the bar. "Rum, neat and whatever Jenna wants. Put it on my tab" I tell the bar tender.

"You got it Imarina" he says smiling. "What would you like?" he asks Jenna.

"Señor tequila" she tells him. He goes to get our drinks. When he places them in front of us Alaric sits on Jenna's other-side. I ignore them as I watch the band listening to them play. Jenna soon gets up and we leave Alaric at the bar.

We rejoin the others as Caroline hops onto the stage. "This isn't going to end well" Jenna states.

"You'd be surprised at what Caroline can achieve" I tell her. Jenna shrugs and takes her shot as I sip my drink.

"So there's this guy. And, uh, he told me to tell him how I feel about him. Like it's so easy. Um, you know, just 'cause I talk a lot doesn't mean I always know what I'm actually talking about. Ah, like now, I'm feeling loopy and I don't really know how to express myself" Caroline explains. The singer goes to gently take the microphone off Caroline but she resists. "I can sing. Yeah! Yeah. You know what, I'm going to sing" she states.

"Can she really sing?" I ask the girls. They shrug looking baffled. Caroline whispers something in singer's ear and he tells the band the song. She starts singing 'Eternal Flame'. "She's good!" I say along with Jenna.

"Yeah" Elena agrees with a smile. Jenna shares a glance with Alaric. Later in the song, Matt looks at Elena and she smiles and nods at him. Matt joins Caroline on stage. He kisses her. Bonnie, Elena and everyone scream and laugh.

'Well he's now off the table' Jaguar states.

Told you they'd get back together I state.

'I know we are having a girls night, but I feel like we need to check in on the other two' she tells me.

Fine, let me just tell Elena I state and cut off the connection. "Hey Elena, I have to go. But tonight was great" I tell her.

"It was nice to hang out with you, wish we had more time" she states.

"We'll hang out tomorrow, I have no work" I tell her.

"Sounds good, I'll tell the others you left" she assures me. I nod my head and leave. I arrive at the boarding house to see Stefan rushing away. I rush inside to the basement.

"What's going on?" I demand.

"Physic witch attack, don't worry Stefan is handling it" Damon states as he turns off the flamethrower. I nod my head and help Katherine into the living room as Damon gets her a bag of blood. Damon comes into the living room holding a blood bag which he hands to Katherine.

As she takes the blood bag Damon drives a stake into her stomach. "What the hell?!" she exclaims as Jaguar glares at Damon.

"That's for not telling me the dagger would kill me. Next time...It goes in your heart" Damon tells her.

Seems fair to me I tell Jaguar. Katherine removes the stake.

"Imarina, leave I have to talk to Katherine" Damon tells me.

"Promise not to kill her?" I ask him.

"Yes" he says and I got to my room. I relax on my bed contemplating how to find a suitable person to give my v-card too. It'd be easier if there was another werecat in town. But Jaguar thinks we're the only ones left. Which sucks. I hear Damon and Katherine leave.

'You should of gone with them' Jaguar states.

If they wanted us, they would of called us down. They've been on their own for centuries before we turned up. I think we can enjoy a night off, we're suppose to be on vacation I tell her.

'You are right, but it is our duty to protect them' she reminds me.

You can sense when they're in danger, if you sense anything we'll go find them. Until then I just want to have us time to think about what to do about mating I tell her.

'Fine, but if one of them dies. I am done talking to you' she grumbles. But I knew she didn't mean it. Soon Stefan, Damon and Katherine return unharmed.

Told you they would be fine I tell her. She grumbles and goes to sleep. I got ready for bed and call it a night also.
