(Overland Park, Kansas) Imarina's POV
Hi, my name is Imarina. I'm an orphan, have no idea who my family is. I grew up moving from foster home to foster home. But now I'm eighteen and have been released from the foster system. I currently live in Overland Park, Kansas. I'm trying to decide where to go next.
I went to bed at eight in my run down apartment. When I'm pulled into a weird dream. I'm in a burning building with about 27 people around me unconscious. Wait, one's awake. A man in his early twentys with raven hair and blue/grey eyes. Then a girl no older then sixteen dead with a stake in her heart.
Another man appears at the top of the stairs. He has brown hair and green eyes. He runs over to the raven haired man in a blur. Then takes him upstairs and the fire burns the rest of the people alive. I wake up, to a strange feeling.
I decide to get a drink of water and stand up. But my legs collapse under me and as one snaps. I yowl in pain. I hear doors opening and people running for my door. I don't know why, but I didn't want help. I looked for a quick escape and only saw the fire escape.
I smash through the window and crawl down the stairs ignoring the glass in my flesh. When I got to the last balcony on the first floor I stopped. I couldn't climb a ladder with what I'm sure is a broken leg. I look down to see how far down the floor is.
I thought I could hang on to the edge and drop down. So that's what I did. I was hanging from the edge and started to count to three. But on two my arm snaps violently. I scream in pain as i let go of the edge holding my broken arm.

I land on my side with a crack and tears fill my eyes. Diffidently broken a few ribs, now my arm. What's happening to me? I soon black out from the pain.
Jaguar's POV
I open my eyes and stand up. I hear a scream from above and look up to see a woman on the fire escape. I hiss and look around the alleyway I'm in. I see an exit to the street and another to more alleys. I take off down that one knowing I'd lose followers easier that way.
I run through the alleyways like a blur, faster then an human. Faster then any animal. I stop on the middle of five connected alleyways. "Where is it?" I hear someone ask and I crouch down in the shadows. Two men appear with torches.
"Are you sure you saw a big cat?" the younger one asks the first one.
"Of course I am" he snaps. "Come on, it probably went this way" he says running down a left alleyway. I take a deep breath and smell a forest to the east. I take off down the right side alleyway heading towards the smell.
After a few more alleyways I reach a tall fence blocking the forest from the town. I snarl and swipe at it with my claws. Making a hole in the fence and jump through it. I take off through the forest as I start to feel my human half reawaken. Damn it, we have to get to our cover. To protect them from further harm.
I find a willow tree and curl up under the roots. I'd speak to her and have her continue the journey. While guiding her secretly. I close my eyes letting her take back control as we turn human again.

Imarina's POV
I wake up naked on the forest floor under tree roots. I remember a pit of what happened, me running from people. But then I arrived at a fence and I saw a huge cat paw swipe at the fence claws unsheathed. But it felt like it was me doing that. However, it couldn't of been me. I'm human.
I here footsteps and curl up tight to cover my exposed body. "This is a great place to swim" a girl says.
"I agree" another says.
"Hello" I call weakly and I hear them approach me. I look up as one looks through the gap in the roots.
"Oh dear, are you ok?" she asks me concerned.
"I'm sore, do you have any spare clothes I could borrow?" I ask her.
"Sure, Annie can you please get my bag?" she asks the other girl. The other girl agreed and left. "You can come out, I have a towel you can cover yourself with" she tells me. I crawl out and cover myself with the towel.
"Where am I?" I ask her.
"Klapmeyer park" she tells me. "Just north of the Blue Hills Country Club" she states. "Where you from?" she asks me.
"Overland Park" I tell her.
"That's not far from here, my friend and we could give you a lift back" she tells me.
'No, we must continue heading south east' a voice says in my head. I frown in confusion, why would I want to go south east. 'We must get to Georgia' the voice tells me.
"No, I'm heading for Georgia" I tell the girl.
"Oh, well my friend and I are from St Louis. We're here on holiday" she tells me. Just then the other girl returns. They give some privacy to get dressed. "So Annie and I talked, we could take you as far as St Louis. But then you'd be on your own" she tells me.
"Thank you so much, that'd be a great help" I tell her.
'Yes it will be, the quicker we get there the better' the voice says. I decide just to ignore it for the time being. I get into the car and they drive me to St Louis. Which is four hours away.
"When we arrive in St Louis, you can catch a plane to Atlanta" Annie tells me.
'Yes, we'll be there before the end of the day' the voice says.
"When is the flight?" I ask Annie.
"There won't be another one until tomorrow morning, is that ok?" she asks me.
'No we need to get there now before coven is hurt again' the voice states. I don't know who you are, but I'm sure the coven can survive one more night I think. The voice grumbles to it's self. I don't get why I have to go to Georgia, but maybe I'll find out when I arrive. Or I could get some answers out of the voice.
