I asked her what I can help, which she happily answered. She asked me to bring one by one the dishes.

I was drooling, the foods are expectacular. I'm salivating and I want to eat now.

I took the plate of roasted chicken and start to walk towards the dining table. The smell of this food is heaven that I rathee look at the chicken that the people sitting at the table.

When I was about to placed down the chicken, a hand quickly grabbed my arm, roughly. I looked back and saw it was not my mate. Of course, he will not hurt me.

"Who are you? And why my mate's scents all over with you? !" his voice is so authorative, firm and commanding, but sorry it will never works on me. And to his disappointment, I just stared at him, confused.

Then suddenly Zander came to the rescue. He quickly pushed him away from me and shield me from him. I hold onto his back while he's facing the Alpha whose eyes turned gold.

And the worst part is, all the people inside the hall gasped, murmuring incoherent words that I cant understand, as I am focus on my mate and the other big guy.

"I asked her who's with her, and she not answering me!" Derrick snarled back, he's heaving, but I dont really have idea what he needs for me.

After what happened downstairs, my brain wants to blow now.

"Zander!" I lowly growl at his ear, making him smirked on my neck. He suddenly stop amd look at me.

"Love, I really want to claim you but, We have to wait until tomorrow," he said while I nod at him. I know we need to wait, he need to announce me in front of his pack, my soon to be pack.

"Ok, Zander. goodnight."
