I am confused, what's this hard and warm thing that my hand rested against to. I immediately stop thinking because right now, I felt comfortable. Then there was a

sudden movement and I slowly open my eyes to know what is it? Or who is it?

And I asked myself.

Am I hallucinating? Zander is sleeping in my bed.

I rubbed my eyes and I confirmed that it's true, he slept with me.

"Morning" sudenly Zander greet in deep husky voice and breaking me from my train of thoughts.

"Morning," I replied while roaming my eyes on his face. He's staring back at me while his head is on the pillow beside me.

"Why did you slept here?" I stupidly ask the obvious.

"it's not my plan but my feet dragged me here and I guess, I am glad that I did follow my feet." He hugged me tightly but enough to move. I wiggled from him and he looked at me, frowning.

"What are you doing?" he asked but continue to cage me.

"Let me go, I need to pee."

He chuckle and then loose his grip on my waist. I quickly slide out of my bed and run towards the bathroom. Once I finished my business I came out and saw Zander sitting still beside my bed, he seems in deep thought, because he didnt notice me until now.

"Hey, you're alright?" I asked while I strides my feet towards him.

"Yeah, I am good." He replied while looking at me intently and I know that he wants to say soemthing.

"Ok, do you want to say something to me?" he swallowed first audibly, then let out a deep sigh. I sit beside him and he quickly grabbed my hand and pressed it softly.

"I want to help you, so after I left your room last night, I went to my office to search the name that you gave me. But for my disppointment, there's nothing in my system that belongs to that name. So what I did, I run to my father and asked him." Oh, so he started to search it for me, and he doesn't know how much I appreciate that.

"Thank you, so what did he said?"

"I dont want to say this but what I found out was beyond unimaginable, so please promise me that you will stay strong." I nod my head, but my heart starts to palpitate.

"I showed to him the name Alpha Gabriel that I wrote in a piece of paper, I remember that you mentioned that to me, right? I asked if he knows the pack that has an Alpha that named Gabriel." Then he paused and averted his gaze and I want to know what happened, so I hold his face.

"What happened Zander? What did your father said?" He let out a sigh and continued.

"That name belongs to a dead man, Ava and what's the worst is, his pack had been wiped out. It doesn't exist anymore." I dont know but I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my heart and placed my hand on my chest. Zander quickly hold me to help me calm down. He asked if I want to know more, then he will continue but if I need time then he can wait. But I want to know, I want to know all so that I will know my next plan.

"Are you sure?" I nod my head and to my surprise he went to my table and I noticed that there was a folder on it. He give it to me. As I open the folder, he starts again to talk.

" His complete name is Gabriel Wright, married to Esmee Miller Wright and they belong to Silver Moon Pack."

Again, another pain struck me. I feel that these two people were special to me. I looked at him and I saw sympathy and concern on his eyes. He hugged me and kissed my hair, because right now a tears suddenly fell from my cheeks.

"Sssshhh... everything will be fine, you have to be strong baby." His voice helps me to calm a little.

"I think I need to go to ." This caused him to narrow his eyes at me.

"No." He replied abruptly, sounds annoyed but I have to do it and he cant stop me.

"Zander, please this is the only way, I have the feeling that I will find answer if I will go there." I saw his eyes flashed and I know he's having argument inside his mind.

"No, you will not go, you will not go alone because I'm coming with you."

"Really? But you have meeting with the Alpha of the Dark Moon." It's a statement not a question that caused him to give me a questioning look. As if asking how did I know that.

"I accidentally overhear it at the clinic, I am sorry for eavesdropping." I said with a grinning smile, which amuses him.

"That's correct, that's in two days, but do you think I will let you go, alone? Never! so we will go together today after school, that way we can come back here before the meeting." Wow, I cannot believe that he will do that for me.

"Thank you so much, I really dont know what I will do if not for you." And to show how much I'm grateful, I kissed him on his lips which he gladly accepted but we have school so I pushed him and run to my closet. I heard him chuckled and I just smile at myself. Right now, I'm very happy, I never thought that Zander would be this sweet and thoughtful. I am so thankful to the moongoddess that she paired me to him.

I grabbed my skinny pants and long sleeve cream top. I apply lipgloss and mascara just to enhance my eyelashes. Then I put on my white and black sneakers and grabbed my back pack and went outside for school.

On my surprised, Zander is leaning on his car, obviously waiting for me. He waved when he saw me and motioned me to come.

"Get in Love, we're late." He said while opening the door for me.

"Are you sure?" As I looked around.

"Of course, and dont worry, my Love." He smile and then I get inside and fasten my seatbelt. He knows what's doing and I trust him.

In the library, while reading a book I noticed that Olivia seems different, she looks stressed and I want to know why, since she's my best friend.

"Olivia, are you okay?"

"I am fine Ava, and what about?" she smiles at me but I know she's hiding something, I could sense that something is wrong.

"I'm good Olive. Can we talk?"

"But we're talking now?" she replied with a toothy grin.

"You're funny Olive, but seriously I want to tell you something." then her face quickly changed to a serious mode. And I hope she will agree with me.

"I don't know how to start but I know in my heart that you could help me." Soon I told her about the Silver Moon Pack and our plan to go there tonight. I'm planning also to tell her soon about me being the White Wolf but not here. It's risky and we don't have time, in two hours we have to arrange our things for the journey.

"But I thought this pack was ruined, it didn't exist anymore."

"Yes, but my gut feeling pushing me to go there, and I am telling you this if you could come with us, Zander will come with me also, but if you can't, no problem." She raised her eyebrow to me and I know if it because of my mate.

"Of course, I will come with you, and what time we will go?" I smile at her because she's really wonderful friend.

"In two hours after school, we can go first to the pack house to prepared my bag and then we'll go to yours. Zander will pick us there." She nods her head and I pull out my cellphone to send him a message that Olivia will come to us.

After the class end, we grabbed our bag and quickly strides toward Olivia's car, and drove to the pack house. As we reached, we noticed that a lot of people are at the front door, so we used the back door to get inside. As we walked at the staircase, a hand roughly grabbed my arm and I know who it belongs to.

"Oh, look who's here. The Omega and the Nobody!" Nathalie smirked, disgusted about us being here, while I noticed that she's holding a rug, which raised my brow. Just like before, I ignored her, remove her hand on me and turned away.

"And where do you think you're going Omega?" she grabbed my arms again, this time a little harder and I think it will bruise again, but I can't waste my time for her. I really don't know what is her problem and I want to tell her 'FUCK OFF' but I know she will not take it lightly so I didn't. Althea wants to surface but I told her that Nathalie is not worth to waste her precious time. I looked at Olivia and saw boredom.

"I am talking to you bitch, what? Cat got your tongue?" I didn't answer because I am cool as cucumber, that is my mantra for her. But doing this pissing her off more. Her loud voice attracts her friend who are holding rugs and broom and I don't know why. They started to surround us and the unexpected happen in a blink of an eye. She slapped me, and that sends me to the floor because I was caught off-guard. She's strong because I feel pain in my knees and face. Olivia quickly runs to help me get up. Once I'm on my knees, Nathalie seems unsatisfied and grabbed my face roughly, I can feel her claws.

"You Imbecile, Because of you, Zander punished me and because of you, I will lose Zander so you will pay for that Bitch." She screeched again and then shoved me, good that Olivia catches me on time.

"Watch your back Omega, it's not the end, it's just the beginning." Then she left along with her minions.

"You got bruise on your face but this time with additional swelling, F*ck, you look awful, Ava." I closed my eyes and try to clam myself and allow Althea to heal me. I don't have to hide from Olivia my powers. She knows it already.

"You're so funny Olive, you that. Anyway, we have better things to do now, so let's go." And we both walked towards my room. She was amused when she entered my room, suddenly she sniffs the air and I know that she smelled Zander here. His scent still lingers here.

"I want to tell you something but promise me that you will not tell, for now." She nods her head and looked at me.

"Zander is my mate." I said as I started to grab my clothes and put in a bag. she smirks at me as if telling me that she knows that already.

"Well, I know that already, just I need confirmation, and don't worry your secret is always safe with me." and I raised my brow at her.

"Don't look at me like that, it's so obvious that you are mates, especially the stares and affection that he's giving to you from time to time." she said while helping me to fold my clothes. When we're done, we silently went downstairs to avoid Nathalie. Once we reached the back door, we sigh in relief and get inside of her car and go.

A tall and a nice-looking man, around 40 years old stood in front of us. He's not smiling nor frowning just looking as if it is uncommon for Olivia to bring friend with her. Olivia then clears her throat.

"Ava, this is my Uncle Jake, Uncle this is Avalane, my best friend." Suddenly his face changed and smile at me. I smiled back at him until he told us to come inside. Their house is nice and big. Soon his Uncle asked why we're late and we like to have dinner. But Olivia explained that we've been at the pack house and he furrowed his brow and looked at her.

"Uncle, me and Olivia along with Zander will go to Silver Moon Pack." his eyes got big and about to say something when I cut in.

"Sir, apologize for my interruption but I asked her if she can come with me, with your permission of course." I said calmly. I don't want to say more because of my situation. He starts to pace back and forth and pinched the bridge of his nose before looking back to us.

"Why you need to go there? That pack was ruined, you're just putting yourself in danger." He snorts, Olivia looked straight to his eyes.

"Uncle please, we can't tell you the reason because it's complicated but please trust me. And Alpha Zander will come to us so don't worry much." She replied in a sassy tone.

"Olivia don't tell me not to worry, when it comes to you, I'm worried freak so I will come with you also, end of discussion." He said in firm voice.

"But Uncle, you are needed here, you have patrol duty." Olivia informed him, but he just shrugged it off.

"I will talk to Alpha." he replied.

"But Sir--,?"

"Ava Call me Jake, I look old when you call me Sir. And the answer is no, I won't let the two of you go with only Alpha Zander, it's not that I dont trust him that he can't protect you but because we don't know what's in there." He got a point though, we don't know what's waiting for us there. What if there are rouges residing there?

"Ok, just let me informed Zander." I pull out my phone again and dial his number, after I told him that we're here at Olivia's, I informed him that Jake will come with us. He said it is ok with him, just he's concerned about me, and I told him that I trust Olivia's Uncle, that I feel that he's a good man.

"It's fine with him and said that he's coming in few minutes." They both nod their head and Jake offer me to sit for dinner, but I told him that I will wait for Zander.

Soon, I saw A black SUV parked at the front house and came out a freshly showered Zander. His eyes searching for me, so I run towards him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my body and kissed the top of my head. I told him that Jake made dinner so I hold his hand and ushered him to come inside.
