《Gemini Lycans》For My Honor

I looked at my arm finding a gash that sent blood dripping down my arm.
"Stay away from her Eric," Van ordered as he tried to hit me with his power. I rolled out of the way quickly. I watched as Van hit Eric with a burst of his magic. Eric hit the pillar wincing before pulling a knife crafted from dark magic not just dark but ancient magic. If that knife so much as touched Van he would be dead. I got to my feet waiting for the moment when I could pull the knife from his hands.
"She belongs with me. You are immortal while she is not," Eric said motioning to my cut. I may not have powers anymore but I knew there were ways of using protection spells without it. I knelt down drawing a magical seal on the floor in blood that would deactivate the knife if he crossed it. I pulled Van behind the seal praying Eric was dumb enough not to notice.
"Sapph," Van muttered as the room started to spin. He grabbed me his magic healing my arm. "You were about to pass out."
"I'm fine," I snapped as Eric lunged at Van. He dodged grabbing the knife ripping it from Eric's hand. He quickly plunged it into Eric's chest knowing it must be done. Eric was a threat to everyone. Eric's eyes widened before he collapsed onto the ground. I watched as blood spilled all over the floor covering the magical seal. Van tossed the knife aside as I knelt next to Eric. I wanted to watch him die to make sure he couldn't hurt Van again. Because of Eric, Brooke is dead.
"Sapph," Eric gasped reaching for my hand. I moved it away from him feeling nothing but hate for him. Had he been dying a year ago I would have held his hand but now I couldn't find one thing that was good about him.

"You killed Brooke," I said harshly as Van touched my shoulder trying to calm me. I watched as he took his final breath before his eyes went dead. He was gone and Van was safe.
"Lets go Sapphire," Van said wrapping his arm around my waist. We walked from the palace and through the portal. I was normal, human with nothing anyone wanted anymore and I could finally be happy with Van without fear of my past coming after us.
"I love you," I smiled at him. We teleported to the coven to get the kids. We could start our life now, neither of us had to be leaders anymore, we could be a family and be happy.
"I love you, Sapphire," he said as Josh and Katherine ran to meet us. I wrapped them into my arms as Van squeezed the three of us.
"So where should we go?" I asked knowing we could go anywhere we wished.
"Anywhere," he said as he conjured a car. We got into the car Van in the driver seat. We sped down the coast until we reached San Diego. I felt a smile play at my lips as we found a beautiful house with a stable for horses. We could see the ocean from the house. Katherine ran down to the ocean splashing in the water as Van took my hand. We walked on the edge of the water my dress billowing in the breeze. The water lapped at my feet as if urging me to come out to sea.
"Now what?" I asked resting my head on his shoulder our fingers tangled together.
"We make a life. A wonderfilled happy life without fear of anything. We raise them like unmagical children. They can become anything with everything at their fingertips. I want you to have the life you always wanted and now I can give it to you," Van said firmly facing me. His arms rested on my hips as we stared into each other seeing every inch of each other.

"I can't wait," I smiled at him as his lips caressed mine. Electricity cracked across my lips igniting a fire deep inside my soul. My arms draped around his neck as we clung to each other. We were interrupted by squeals. We spun to find Katherine and Josh splashing each other. I couldn't help but smile at the normalcy of this moment. It was something I never got growing up but they will have the pleasure of. I gasped as Van tossed me into the water. I screamed before hitting the water. I was soaked head to toe. I stood glaring at him. "You so are going to pay," I snapped as his laughter stopped.
"Only if you can catch me," he said before running toward the house. I rushed up the shore and reached for the door when I heard the click of the lock. He locked me out of my own home.
"That's cheating," I whined shaking the door. I could see him watching me through the window. I watched as a key fell from the doorframe. I grabbed it unlocking the door as Van's smiled faded. I sprinted inside running toward him as he tried in vain to get away. I tackled him my wet body soaking him too. We giggled lying on the floor in the living room. I lay over him my wet hair hanging over him. Our lips were hovering over each other as his hand ran through my hair holding it away from my face.
"You are so beautiful," he whispered as my lips pressed against his a warmth filling my body quickly. He was here alive and nothing made me happier. We were normal and safe without an enemy to come after us.
"I love you Van Lucian, do you hear me?" I asked as our eyes stared intently into each other's.
"I hear you Sapphire always," Van said and it was in this moment that I knew we were going to have a wonderful life with laughter and joy. I am undeniably in love with Van Lucian...
