《Gemini Lycans》Family First

I made my way up the street and past the courtyard. I walked up to the door giving it a hard knock. The door swung open as I rushed into Josh's arms. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I held back tears.

"Sapphire you dyed your hair," Josh said as I shook my head.

"No I leaned about a past life. I used to be a witch with dark hair named," I was interrupted by Nathan.

"Natalie Drew," he said walking toward me. "How much do you remember?"

"Only small pieces," I said softly. "The things I remember are triggered by things happening right now."

"Do you remember Eric?" He asked as I nodded.

"I died again and that's what triggered some of my memories. I learned after I died why I came back. I also chose to come back to fix Eric," I said. I felt a single tear fall down my face thinking of Eric. He cast me aside even knowing I was pregnant. Even with him being so evil I never thought he would hurt me like this. I felt Nathan's arms wrap around me pulling me into his arms.

"It's okay. When you feel ready to explain you can," Nathan said as I pulled away.

"Eric tossed me out into the street. I'm pregnant with his child and he said to leave," I gasped trying to stop the pain. It was the line I never knew Eric would cross. Nathan looked at me sadly knowing how much pain I was feeling. "I didn't think he could hurt me like that. As I left I remembered my wedding day. I was supposed to be happy and he left me at the alter."

"I was hoping you wouldn't remember that," Nathan said as I looked at him puzzled.

"How did you know?" I asked as he took my hand.

"I'm a witch and when I made the deal with Eric our memories were joined. I know everything he lived through though I am sure he didn't recognize you in this body," Nathan said as my mouth dropped. Nathan knew the entire time and never once thought I deserved to know. I would have yelled at him but right now I needed his help if I was going to ever get Eric back.

"Do you still remember it all?" I asked thinking of a spell that might work.

"Yes I remember it like they are my own memories," Nathan said as I smiled.

"How about you merge with him again just for a moment to give his memory back," I said as he shook his head.

"I can't. He had the dark magic to do it. I don't have the level of magic required to do that," Nathan said as I sighed knowing he was right. I felt Eric's darkness before he was part Magi and he had a lot of magic. He almost had enough to beat every witch in the world. Had it not been for my magic he could have killed the remaining witches.

"But Sapphire does," Josh said as I hit the wall in frustration I forgot to mention that I don't have the strength to defend everyone anymore.

"I gave up almost all my magic to come back to Eric. I don't even think I'm a Lycan anymore," I groaned as both Nathan and Josh looked at me. They were still deciding if I was kidding or serious.

"Honey I'm home," Rory said launching me into the living room. I winced struggling to my feet.

"How the hell did you find me?" I snapped as she smirked holding up the note I gave to Eric a few weeks ago. I blocked her next blow knocking her across the room using the baby's magic. "ERIC HELP!" I screamed knowing my power might not be enough to save the baby if she got too many good hits in. I looked back to see Nathan and Josh preoccupied with Rory's backup.

"You honestly think he would come for you?" Rory laughed as I sent more energy into her making her hit the wall. "I'm going to enjoy making you lose everything Natalie!"

Flashback

"I'm going to enjoy making you lose it," Rory snapped as she grabbed me by the throat. I winced as she drew some of my magic out of my body weakening more than I already was.

"Rory please," I begged hoping she would stop but she didn't.

End of flashback

"What did I do to make you hate me? You got Eric and yet here you are trying to kill me," I demanded as her eyes clouded over with rage.

"I don't have him and as long as you are alive he will never be mine!" Rory yelled hitting me with every ounce of her magic throwing me through the wall. I fell to the ground knocking the wind out of me. I gasped looking at my left arm seeing my own bone sticking out. Without my Lycan half getting knocked through a wall broke my arm. Had I been human only I would have died. I felt a jolt of Magi magic filling my womb. The thing about magi magic is it is unpredictable and soon the power grew unstable as I hit Rory with it. My vision blurred as I tried to stand. I wobbled bracing myself against the wall trying to keep it together to stay alive for my child.

"Eric," I spoke barely louder than a whisper as I collapsed to the ground. Rory stood over me a knife in hand. This was it I'm not going to be able to save Eric or my child. Rory clearly enjoying this moment as she stood over me. The last thing I saw before falling unconscious was a shadowy figure behind her...
