I hissed at the cold gel that touched my belly and spread through as the doctor moved the transducer so we could see the ultrasound.

"You see that small little dot on the screen, that's your baby, you are just a month far from what I can see" the doctor smiled pointing at the tiny dot on the screen. I heard a sharp intake of breath and looked at Leo who had a full blown smile and the corner of his eyes crinkling. He squeezed my hands his face never leaving the screen.

I could feel my lips trembling and a smile threatening to come on my face. "Holy fuck it's tiny" Leo whispered or he thought he did, he snapped out of his trance when both the doctor and I laughed with tears in my eyes.

He smiled at me and bend downwards to kiss my forehead. Closing my eyes I nodded "it's happening" my voice barely above a small whisper.

"I'll give you two a minute while I go and get your prenatal vitamins" the doctor said passing me a tissue.

The door clicked shut and I looked at Leo who looked at my belly with a cute little smile. "What are you doing Leo" I asked when he took the tissue from my hand.

"Wiping of the gel" he shrugged, wiping it of while rubbing it.

"Leo" I called at him avoiding eye contact.

"Are you sure you want to do this, you don't have to now it's not just your company but your mafia that you have to-" he cut me off by pressing his lips on mine kissing me like I was his last breath.

"You can't-" he kissed me again shutting me up when I opened my mouth to retort.

"That ought to shut you up"

"You can't just-" he kissed me again biting my lip enough to draw out blood. Breaking apart I glared at him but he just wiped it of with the pad of his thumb and smiled cheekily.

"Yes I can and I will, and I mean this not just about kissing you but about being with you throughout everything" his words were enough to assure me and keep me at peace.

"Ok?"

"Ok"

He leaned forward to kiss me again but unfortunately there was a knock at the door, Groaning he leaned back and spoke"come in" his eyes never once leaving my lips.

"So here are your vitamins, you have to take them everyday before breakfast and after dinner. Now the first trimester is crucial you have to be extremely careful about your health because it might affect the baby" the doctor came and passed the vitamins to Leo who quickly opened the bottle and sniffed it.

"It's not poison Leo, it's vitamins relax" I said chuckling.

"Now are there any questions?" The doctor asked smiling.

Opening my mouth I was about to respond when Leo spoke up "when can we hear the heartbeat? When is the next appointment? What should she not eat? Is it okay if she goes to work?" Leo bombarded the poor doctor with questions who just seemed amused.

"Mr.Giovanni breath, you can hear the heartbeat in the next 2 weeks or so, the next appointment is scheduled in 2 and a half weeks and she can eat whatever she wishes for but try to cut of on spicy food and yes it's fine to go work till her second trimesters over."

Leo seemed content with the answers and shook her hand thanking her. "Thank you doc" I bid her goodbye walking out of the room.

"My pleasure" she smiled and waved us goodbye.

"I'm hungry" I chimed in when Leo roared the car's engine.

"You just ate an hour ago when I cooked you food" he narrowed his eyes at me.

"But I want some spicy mc chicken and nuggets" I mused kissing his cheek.

"Did you not hear the doctor saying to cut of on spicy food" he accused pulling the car in reverse one hand on the steering wheel and the other behind my seat, his neck craned allowing me to see his tattoos.

"Take a picture darling it'll last longer" he smirked when he saw me staring at his hand and neck tattoos.

"Fuck off I'm hungry" I glared at the road in front of me but that glare soon turned in an grin when I saw him pulling in Mc Donald's parking lot though it did take 15 mins.

"Still want me to fuck off?" He raised an eyebrow the corner of his lips tilting up.

"What? When did I tell you anything like that, I could never you know that" I shook my head denying his false accusations.

"Oh really"

"Mmhmm"

"Come on let's go you crazy woman" he shook his head and got out of the car jogging towards my side and opened the car door for me keeping a hand over my head on the car's door making sure I didn't get hurt.

Interlocking our hands he kissed my knuckles and we walked together inside Mc Donald's.

"I'll order go sit" he ordered and pointed at one of the seats.

Soon enough the drool worthy man, I mean food was in front of me begging to be eaten.

I was devouring my food when I noticed his eyes fixated on my face.

"Why are you staring at me" I cocked an eyebrow at him but he simply shrugged and kept looking. Ignoring his burning gaze I finished my food.

"What are you going to do now?" I asked once we settled in the car.

"Im going to go meet Nicholas after I drop you home, we um have a mission" he answered looking at me, I looked at him in concern.

"Please be safe"

"Ofcourse amore, I promise I'll be fine"

"You sure?"

"Yes my love"

"Ok then drop me at my office"

"Why?"

" I have a lot of work to do"

"Ok fine, but call me if you need anything ok?"

"Ok"

I dropped off Bella at her office after demanding she called me if anything happened.

I was about to meet nic at his hotel since we had a mission to retrieve some data at one of the companies, I could've sent Antonio and Caterina but they asked to spend time with Daniel and Mia.

Quickly parking near the company I located nic sitting in one of the cafe's opposite sipping on coffee.

I casually walked towards him and took a chair opposite his eyeing the coffee that was in front of me.

"Good choice" I nodded after taking a sip

"Ofcourse it is I made it" he boasted.

Giving him an unamused look I spoke up "issabella's pregnant" he looked shocked but soon composed himself and smiled "congrats man"

"I'm not the biological father" I let him know sipping on my coffee

"What?" He asked his eyes widening

"Then who?"

Taking in a deep breath I explained everything to him and by the end of it he seemed shocked and angered.

" You should've called me I would have helped in torturing that bastard" he sighed and shook his head.

"I'm happy for you man but are you sure you want to bring them in the mafia world, it's not safe you know?" He piped in raising an eyebrow.

"I know but I'm the mafia king, no one would dare defy me plus she's under my protection I would keep her safe till my last breath"

"You know you can call me for help anytime right?"

"I know, I trust you"

Suddenly his bluetooth earphone blinked and he nodded and spoke in the earpiece

"Location's set, we just have to go to the terrace and collect the pen drive" he got up and we walked inside the tall building acting as potential business men who were here for some deal.

Pressing the top floor button in the elevator I cocked my gun and hid it in the waistband of my jeans rolling up my white sleeves.

"Through here" nic pointed to the right where a man stood waiting for us.

"Password?" The man demanded when we stood in front of him.

"Morte Nera" I spoke keeping on a blank face my hands behind my back.

The man nodded and passed us the pendrive and set his hand forward for nic to shake when his body dropped on the floor with a thud, the blood flowing from his head a clean bullet shot visible.

"Cazzo" I muttered looking around and spotted a man hiding behind the door, I took out my gun followed by nic and shot at him aiming at his leg.

The bullet rang through instantly piercing his legs a scream sounding throughout the air. I walked towards him when I felt a rod hit my leg and then my head.

Groaning i looked behind ready to kill the person when nic shot the red headed woman killing her.

"Couldn't you do that earlier asshat" I muttered rubbing my head sighing when I felt a small bump.

"I was looking around" he pouted and shrugged.

"Whatever tie this asshole up and lock him up in the warehouse I'm going home." I ordered and got in the elevator.

Unlocking my car I sat and and drove off to my house.

" Hey love, the missions over I just reached home, I'll be taking a nap so if I don't text you for a while I'm not ignoring you, please text me once you're home" I texted her making sure she knew I was safe and soon dozed off on my bed once I reached home.

I read Leo's message which gave a me a sense of relief. The worry had been eating me up all day and made it quite hard to focus on work.

It was midnight now and I just reached home, texting Leo and informing him about my whereabouts, i went in my bedroom and stripped naked and went in the bathroom turning on the shower knob to hot.

The hot water helped relax my sore muscles a content sigh leaving me. I stayed in there for a while before my stomach rumbled telling me I was hungry.

Quickly changing into my nightwear I knocked on Daniels room just to find it empty, I shook my head figuring he sneaked out at Caterina's house.

I went back to my room pouting cause I had no idea how to cook and dad would kill me if he knew I skipped dinner, I couldn't wake mom up because that woman couldn't cook for shit except for pancakes and coffee.

I thought about calling Leo but I figured he would've been tired from his mission so I laid on bed thinking if I should go out myself when a idea popped up in my head and I smiled.

Quickly picking up my phone I dialled a number and the ring went of thrice before I heard a sleepy voice greet me.

"Yes my lovely cherry?" Antonio's sleepy voice asked and I smiled.

"Did I wake you up ant?" I asked a bit guilty though I already knew.

"It's fine, why'd you call is everything ok? Is the baby ok?" He asked yawning

"You know about the baby?" I asked confused

"Leo told Caterina and I when you went for the ultrasound today, congrats cherry I'm happy for you" he explained and I smiled

"Thank you ant, now for the reason I called is Daniel that asshole sneaked out at cat's house and as you know Leo went on a mission and I didn't wanna disturb him so I called you. I'm hungry"

"Be ready, I'll be there in ten put on a jacket its cold out"

"I love you ant" I grinned

"Yeah yeah be ready cherry"

"Ok bye" I ended the call and quickly changed into a warm outfit and tied my hair in a bun.

I waited outside my house for a mere of five minutes when I saw his car pulling in.

"Come on let's go" he grinned and waved at me telling me to get in.

"I'm sorry for ruining your sleep" I commented once I got in his car.

"It's fine cherry you know if never say no to you, now what do you wanna eat?" He asked once he pulled out of my driveway.

"Something sweet and spicy" I smiled at him

"Nice try but no spicy food for you" he smirked once he saw my face fall.

"Fine, let's go for ice cream" I leaned back in my seat looking out of my window once he nodded agreeing.

"Hey cherry" he spoke after a while of comforting silence

"Hm?"

"I'm truly happy for you, though it wasn't an ideal pregnancy I am happy, I'm gonna be the best fucking uncle and spoil the baby with mi- I mean with toys" he stuttered in the end but I laughed

"I know you're dating Mia ant, Mia doesn't know how to speak lowly" I smiled shaking my head at his shocked face.

"Oh"

"Yeah oh"

"Since you know I wanted to ask if you knew about her infertility issues" he asked biting his lip and my mood fell

"I do, she told me that she couldn't have kids when she was 18 her chances are down to 5 percent" I smiled sadly at him but he just shrugged.

"She told me she dreamt of adopting a girl when she got married" Antonio told me a smile etched on his face.

"Hey ant? Can I ask you something"

"Ofcourse"

"Do you see a future with her, because if not I don't want you hurting her." I picked at my nails waiting for his response

" Honestly I'm falling for her every fucking moment and I can't imagine what life would be without her, I know I haven't know her that long but she just has the effect on me and well I want to be with her every fucking moment I can" he admitted glancing at me his eyes shining with love and care and I knew it was for mia.

"Good I'm happy"

"Come on, we're here" he said parking once we saw an ice cream shop. Getting out of the car we walked side by side and entered the small cosy shop and went to the counter.

"Which flavour do you want?" He asked looking at the flavours like a small kid.

"I want belgium choclate chip" I grinned pointing at the chocolaty goodness.

"We'll have two cups of belgium choclate chip and one mint chocolate chip" he told the cashier who nodded and scooped us our ice-creams in the cup.

"Why two?" I asked looking the the two cups in his hands.

"You're eating for two now aren't you?" He raised an eyebrow and walked towards the tables. Setting the cups on the table he pulled out a chair for me and let me sit before sitting down himself and passing me the other cup.

"Thank you ant" I chuckled when he scooped his ice cream and took a bite of it.

"My pwesure" he spoke eating the ice cream in his mouth

Shaking my head I digged in my own ice cream moaning when the choclate hit my tastebuds.

"Damn cherry, thank god Leo's not here or I'm sure you'd be moaning for a different reason" he laughed and I choked on my ice cream coughing loudly.

Glaring at him I smacked his head "shut up, before I tell Leo to shoot you" I mumbled and looked up when he coughed and widened his eyes.

"You know?"

"Oh yeah found out this morning, didn't I tell you about the mission?"

"I was half asleep I didn't hear half the things you said" he murmured licking his licking his spoon.

"Idiot" I shook my head and picked up the other cup after finishing my first one.

"Whatever, what do you wanna do next?"

"Hmm let's see" I thought for a while and then smiled evilly

"I don't like the way you're smiling" his eyes narrowed at me suspiciously.

"I want to prank Leo" I smiled at him cheekily

"I'm in" he mirrored my expressions and we high fived each other.

"We'll drive around for a bit and then get the stuff needed" I told him and he nodded.

This is going to be fucking fun.
