"AHHH NOO STOP!" Caterina exclaimed making me swerve the car in fear.

"WHAT!WHO!WHERE! WHO'S HURT?" I exclaimed looking around the car breathing heavily trying to calm my beating heart before it ripped out of my chest.

"You almost drove by the pigeon that flew in front" Caterina mumbled pouting. Oh god I'm going to kill this girl.

Shaking my head I looked at her face through the rearview mirror thinking about ways to give her a heart attack.

"you screamed because a bird flew by the car" Issbella gritted out, confused at her tone I turned in my seat to look at her instantly laughing out loud at her smeared eyeliner.

Glaring at me she got the makeup wipes from her mini bag wiping of the eyeliner.

"Oh shit im so sorry but I thought we would hit it and I screamed. Oops?" Caterina nervously laughed looking at Antonio for help.

"You know I'm with cherry on this one who screams like a maniac for a fucking bird" Antonio butted in making issabella smile

And once again my subconscious ruined my fantasy by being absolutely bloody right.

Pouting a little I pulled the car in reverse looking through the rearview mirror with my one hand on the wheel and one behind issabella's seat.

I looked back at the road and sped up. Feeling nuggets stare on my face I looked at her to see her looking at my veiny tattoed hands with my sleeves rolled up.

Smirking I cleared my throat, she immediately looked up smiling " like what you see baby" I whispered in her ear bending towards her.

"I don't know what you're talking about" was her reply as she looked out of the window. Laughing quietly I sat back down one hand on the steering wheel, I intersected my and issa's hand keeping them on the gear.

She looked at me hesitantly but let her hands be making me smile a little. We drove in silence for almost 20 mins when we reached the animal shelter.

Cutting off the engine I pouted detangling mine and nuggets hand. Opening the car door I stepped out banging my head on the roof in the process. "Ow son of a bitch that hurt" I mumbled and everyone laughed at my misery.

'Well it is funny how a mafia leader got hurt by cars roof because he was clumsy'

Huffing I rubbed my head slamming the door shut. Turning around I saw everyone's lips pursued in a thin line trying not to laugh, glaring at each of them I walked towards bella a small pout on my lips as I kept my hand at her lower back showing her towards the main door to the animal shelter.

Before I even entered issabella ran from my grip on her waist to the puppy's playing in the small playing pen filled with Labrador,pugs, Huskies and a few more different breeds.

"Holy fuck they are soo cute" Issabella gushed playing with one of the Huskies who seemed to be extremely happy looking at her.

I smiled at her when something hit not figuratively but literally, turning around I saw Antonio holding a chocolate in his hands biting in it. I stared at him blankly ready to murder this bitch with my gun. He smiled cheekily at me ignoring my stare.

Grumbling I turned towards Issabella and saw the dog grin at me as issa rubbed his fur. The dog barked at me huffing with his tongue out as nugget kept gushing at his face playing with him, the other puppies playing with Antonio and Caterina.

"Ughhh I really wish I could take you but mom wouldn't agree" issabella talked to the dog in baby voice that I couldn't help but grin at.

"We could keep him" Antonio offered, snapping my head at his face I shook my head no as discretely as possible. The dog hates me and I don't need him to take nuggets attention from me to him.

" Wait really?" She asked hopefully, sighing I regretted my decision before I even spoke "yes nugget really" I smiled at her full blown grin. She hopped up jumping on me hugging me tight as I stumbled a bit but held on to her tight.

I grinned cockily at the dog, he just barked but I ignored him.

'Haha take that' I thought as I held her tight inhaling her scent feeling a sense of calm take over me.

I was not ready to leave her but the stupid dog kept barking

"Woof woof!" Ignore him issa I prayed in my mind but to no avail she broke the hug and picked up the stupid jealous dog.

Glaring at him I motioned Antonio and Caterina to get the documents filled, nodding they left leaving me with nugget and the stupid dog that now would stay with me.

"I'm gonna name him Dexter" Issabella decided smiling as he barked wagging his tail licking her smooth, soft skin.

Issabella laughed closing her eyes as I took a good look at her face, sighing in content at her grinning face.

"Play with him" issabella pushed Dexter in my arms, smiling at her I nodded scowling at the growling dog

'Well bud i dont like you too, deal with it'

My phone rang ' I'm sexy and I know it' blazing through the silence, I'm gonna kill Antonio. Issabella laughed and I narrowed my eyes at her setting Dexter down as he whined pawing issa's feet. Glaring at the dog I picked up the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey asshole I'm at your driveway the fuck are you at?" Nicholas voice broke through the call.

"Out adopting a dog" I mumbled looking at both issa and Dexter play

"What the fuck" he exclaimed, I laughed

"I'm gonna be home in 15-20, I'll explain later and I have someone I want you to meet" I answered smiling at issa who was smiling back at me

"Ok then I gonna go and think of ways to castrate your dick for leaving me here alone for so long, bye asshole" he murmured Huffing

"Bye, I'll be back soon" I laughed ending the call.

"Who was that?" Issa asked.

"My bestfriend" I smiled at her and she nodded

"Would you like to meet him?" I asked nervously, why the fuck was I nervous it's not like I asked her to meet my parents.

"Well sure why not" she replied grinning at me with the dog in her hands

"The adoptions done" Antonio announced as he came back with two bags in his hands and a tub of treats in caterina's hands.

"Well then let's show Dexter his new home shall we?" I asked smirking

"Let's" issabella nodded laughing at the barking jealous bitch.
