He was sitting in front of me, the person who destroyed so many lives just for his own benefit

"Ha ha ha ha ..........."

"How could you even think you will win from me, you tried to collect evidence against me. Now see what price you have to pay for your deeds."

"No, please don't" I begged him, I don't know what else to do I'm feeling like a failure

They dragged abhi and threw him in front of me and pointed the gun on his head.

"No you can't do that, please leave him he didn't do anything, he wasn't even aware" I tried to go to abhi but I wasn't even able to move

"I don't care he will die and that too because of you. You will be the one who killed him. This is your punishment" Just after saying that he pulled the trigger.

"ABHI!!!!!" I woke up with a start looking around frantically, just then someone came near me

"No go away, leave me" I started thrashing around

"Shh... Calm down baby, everything is okay, you're okay. Shh....." Someone hugged me, this voice. That was when my senses started clearing

"A-Abhi, this is really you" I put my shaking hands on his cheek

"Yes sweetheart it's me. Now breathe" he said holding me tight

"Abhi you're alive, you're safe" I hugged him tightly and started sobbing. That dream was horrifying I don't want it to become real

"I should be the one saying that, do you even know how much of a scare you gave me" he continued rubbing my back while pressing kisses on the crown of my head and forehead.

After calming down and getting checked by the doctor, I asked abhi about the situation

I got to know that I have been unconscious for three days now and the one who pulled the strings of the chandelier was Kamini aunty and now she is under police custody. Grandpa Raj is in a critical condition and his survival chances are low because he took the major impact

About me I have a major concussion and my left ankle has a dislocation. There is also a gash on my right shoulder, well looks like the glass really embedded deep inside. Other than that I'm perfectly fine

"Abhi don't inform anyone of my recovery okay and let's go to some other place where no one will be able to find me. I need to get Kamini aunty out of the police custody and anyone else knowing will be a problem"

Abhi was just looking at me for sometime and then nodded his head

"I won't ask about anything right now. I know you will not do anything that can harm our family. I trust you"

"Thank you so much Abhi, I promise to tell you everything, I won't keep anything from you. Just let me do it this time. I trust you more than anything and anyone Abhi" I gave him a quick peck which he converted into a long passionate kiss

After discharging from the hospital we settled in a villa which was under Abhi's name. I contacted Liam and asked him to come at the given address.

When he came, the three of us sat together and Liam started telling that Rahul is already under custody and they have successfully obtained his statement and all the people involved in this.

He provided the list of people who were helping in this squandering. Abhi was already working on removing the traitors from his company and this information was helpful in it.

"Now what about Kamini aunty" Liam said

"You know what to do already Liam and I think day after tomorrow will be perfect for that" I said

"Explain" Abhi coldly and rudely interrupted

"We will start the trials of court from day after tomorrow" Liam told him about the case being filed in the court for attempted murder in Kamini aunty's name is actually a jeopardy.

"Just trust in me Abhi, I promised grandpa and I'll promise it to you too no one inocent will be harmed and the person who destroyed the family will be behind the bars" Abhi and I were just staring at each other. The moment was broken by Liam's cough

"I should get going now, I'll prepare everything for day after tomorrow. Take care buttercup. Goodbye Abhiman"

"Bye Liam" I said while Abhi just nodded

Today is the trial and the day my identity will be revealed. Abhi has already gone to the court with others and Liam. I'm currently in my office and gathering the files which has all the proof required for punishing the traitor and saving Kamini aunty from his clutches.
