《Forever Together》Chapter 16

After all the hassle with arrangements and decisions. We finally came to a conclusion for the engagement.
Today is the day I will be getting a ring weight on my hand. Luca and aria have also came to enjoy the Indian style of wedding.
"Are you ready Abhi. Let's go, I don't want to miss a single thing" Luca said jumping up and down.
"Yeah I'm ready and stop bouncing like a frog" I said and after getting everything ready I left for the venue with Luca as others have already left.
The whole venue was decorated beautifully. It gives a look of a grand celebration, well it is one. Soft lights have decorated the whole venue giving an aura of elegance to this place.
Everyone was talking and happily mingling with each other. Since my wedding is a big news reporters are swarming the area with the photographers we hired to click the engagement pictures.
Most of the family member and relatives have arrived. Many of them are even staying at home. All the buisness men are trying to get their way to my company. Too bad for them I have a high IQ to not get trapped in their honeyed words.
Many of my office staff is also present including the American branch staff and A & L company's staff. It's quite a lot of people but the venue is also big so no problem.
Few minutes later mom asked me to go to the state as the Singhania's have arrived and the engagement will start soon.
I heard the song playing as I lift my head I saw that Keira is was walking towards me. She looks gorgeous, I knew she will look good in the dress but so much never thought off.
She is glowing, and looking even more ethereal than all the decorations around. Even her jewelry is matching and giving her an elegant look.

As she was walking towards me the rose petals were falling on her. I have to say these event planners have done a pretty good job.
Nobody noticed but I saw her hands shaking and the colour draining from her face, maybe because everyone was looking at her with star stuck eyes.
When she reached the steps of stage I forwarded my hands to her and helped her climbing up. She thanked me in a soft voice.
"Don't think everyone is looking at you, focus your attention somewhere else." I said as we both sat down on the sofa.
"It's not that easy. I can feel their eyes on me" her voice was soft and weak.
"You're looking breathtaking Keira" I wispered in her ear making it go all red. I grabbed her hands which were cold and squeeze it slightly to reassure her.
I was trying different things that could work as a distraction for her. After sometime she was back to normal.
"Thank you so much" there was a smile on her face which just increased her beauty.
"Not a problem at all" I gave her a smile in return.

We reached the venue and it was so beautiful. I got out of the car and bhabhi asked me to go to the stage. The stage, it was also beautifully decorated.
I was walking on the path to the stage when rose petals started falling on me. It was so amazing.
Abhiman was standing on the stage and staring at me. He is looking so dashing in his outfit completely different from his business suits.
But my nerves started acting up when everyone's attention was at me. I could feel my hands started trembling and the numbness of my scalp. No please not now.
I don't know how I reached the stage but that was enough because after that Abhiman helped me and even distracted me from having anxiety. His big hands were so warm, it gave a safe feeling.

"Hello everyone, I hope you all are enjoying the party. Now let's get the engagement started. I request everyone to be present in the main hall." Dad announced to everyone
Well the moment is finally here. We both stood up. Aditya was the one carrying the engagement rings. He came near us and gave the ring to Abhiman first.
Abhiman took my hand in his palm and was about to push the ring on my finger when a lot of girls covered my palm.
"Now find her hand and make her wear the ring" one of them said
Oh boy, I forgot about the teasing they would all do. They are all my distant relatives and their friends I think.
Huh! I hope Abhiman won't mind their childish games. What am I saying I was also one of them doing all sorts of childish things. They are taking revenge on me.
