《Forever Together》Chapter 13

I was hell tired, like who told you that all the girls in this world are shopping freaks because let me tell you I'm not one of them.
We have been roaming in the shopping mall for five hours, since morning and only choose the dresses for haldi mehndi and sangeet ceremony. We still have to find an engagement dress.
My wedding lehanga will be chosen by my mother in law and mom. Even Abhiman's sherwani will be chosen by them, we have already given our measurements.
My jewelery will be decided by mom, dad, bhai and bhabhi. All the makeup and other accessories are bought by bhabhi, jasmine di and divya. Yes she also joined my shopping spree. Well thank god they are deciding on those stuff or I would have gone crazy.
Right now they are dragging me in the footwear store and forcing me to try different heels, belles, and sandals. After getting everything, we met mom and Siya aunty outside.
As soon as we came out I started whining like a child and complaining about the six hours torture they have given me and making grieved faces at all of them. They started chucking at my antics.
"Have you girls done all the shopping" Siya aunty asked
"Yes aunty, only her engagement dress is left. All the other stuff are brought." Bhabhi replied
"Oh, then why don't both you and Abhiman go together to buy them" she smiled at me while I was staring at her confused.
"Yes that will be great. Abhiman also just needs his engagement suite, his other stuff are already bought." Mom said
I didn't knew he was also shopping today. While Siya aunty was making a call to him, the girls started teasing me.
"He will be here any moment now. We should also leave, there's not much time for all the preparation." Siya aunty said and the others bid me bye and left

I stomped my foot on the ground and puffed my cheeks at the back of the vehicle.
"You are looking like a hamster" a voice wispered in my ear.
It made goosebumps rise on my body. I turned around and saw Abhi standing there looking as dashing as ever.
"So, why were you stomping you foot like that." He asked raising his perfect right eyebrow at me.
I don't know why, but I started blurting out everything. Complaining to him like a child complains to its parents.
"They all woke me up early at seven in the morning and asked me to get ready for shopping. From then they took me to the temple and did the pooja and then we ate breakfast.
From ten in the morning, they are dragging me to every shop to buy all the required things and didn't even gave me a break in between. Now it's seven in the evening and they just left me here. My legs are paining but they didn't even care for me."
I finished my complains and ramblings and saw him looking at me with a small smile on his face. I gave him a silly grin and looked down embarrassed while blushing furiously.
Oh god, what is wrong with you Keira now he will think you are a mentally unstable person. While my thoughts were running wild, I felt a hand grabbing my chin making me look up at his beautiful chocolate brown eyes.
He said in a low wisper "so you have not eaten anything after breakfast till now" I nodded my head in a daze still staring in his eyes. They are so beautiful.
"Okay then, we will go to eat something first and then buy the engagement dress." His voice bought me back to present and I again blushed while nodding.

"I love to see you blushing, this pink colour really suits you." He said in a husky voice and I know my face would be resembling like a tomato right now.
We got into his car, which was so comfortable and classy. He took me to a five star restaurant but I don't want to go as I am not dressed properly for this place.
Abhiman opened my side of the door and extended his hand towards me. I took it and felt the sparks run through my body. I got out of the car and we made our way towards the restaurant.
Abhiman asked the receptionist, whose face was caked with make-up about his reservation while she was really eye f**king him. She adjusted her dress in a way that her cleavage was visible and spoke in her high pitched voice.
"Welcome sir, let me check your reservation. Just give me a minute" she didn't even acknowledge my presence.
"Okay sir, your reservation is in the VIP room number 5. I'll show you the way, please follow me." She said and started walking while swaying her hips.
Abhiman started walking and I followed behind him, he was still holding my hand.
The fake bi**h turned to look at Abhiman and saw me following him with our hands holding. She started screaming at me
"You wh**e, why are you following us, don't you have any shame. You want to seduce him. I know girls like you very well they just want a rich sugar daddy for them."
By now the whole restaurant was looking at me with disgust and giving me complicated looks. Wispering and pointing their fingers towards me.
"How dare you" Abhiman roared loudly "how dare you insult my wife like this, call the manager now" he said the last part to a waiter standing near us.
There was silence in the restaurant and everyone was staring at me. The receptionist was sweating "w-wife". I was having difficulty in breathing. Everything around me was staring to get dizzy.
I saw the waiter coming back with another man I assume, the manager. But I didn't heard any conversation as my ears started ringing.
Black dots filled my vision, it was getting difficult for me to breathe. I felt someone shaking me but my consciousness slowly faded and darkness consumed me.

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
