.
Y/n woke up feeling cold. Although her back was warm, her front wasn't in the slightest.
Her body was a bit sore but it doesn't really matter. It's nothing major to any pain she's experienced. But that pain... is a good pain.
She yawned sleepily and sat up revealing her dotted neck filled with bits and kisses. It's lucky that they were actually wearing a reserved uniform, or else she'll be parading the night's experience in broad daylight.
She turned to where the other human was and saw a sleeping Giyuu. Half his mascular upper body was showing telling her that : 'this is the body that ate you'. Y/n nodded to it gladly and attempted to stand up, only to be pulled back by the hand.
She lost her balance and fell right on the man's chest. She looked up lazily and saw his eyes already opened.
"You know, you could just speak right? Why pull me? Are you trying to seduce me?" She asked.
Giyuu just didn't bother speaking. Who seduced who again? If you compare it between the two of them, wouldn't Y/n's actions be the reason why he was aroused and was provoked to retaliate?
And now he was being blamed as the sex crazed one...
"How's your body?" After the long silence, Giyuu asked the awkward question.
Y/n rolled her eyes. "Of course I'm sore. Stamina monster."
Hearing the insult(or praise), Giyuu's ears began to be tainted red. He evaded the girl's look and pretended as he heard nothing.
The girl chuckled and sat up, revealing her naked body once more. She stood up and grabbed her own pieces of clothing itching for a bath later on.
.
Their travel continued right after breakfast. It didn't take a while until they reached the said town.
Y/n and Giyuu began to walk around to investigate about the issue at hand.

People had been missing in town ever since seven months ago. By now, every week, a child disappears in one night. Not a trace would be seen after.
Y/n thought about it while listening to the village stories one after another. Some said they saw it and had explained the event rather exaggerated. Y/n almost cried from holding her desire to punch the obvious liar. But the ever so calm man who did not even show the slightest expression on his face stopped her from doing such. He knew it was a lie, but where else could they listen to?
They could only rely much on the village accounts. Some don't even believe in demons and said that it was made by man. But the supernatural belief was extra ordinary. Much to their expectations, it really didn't make sense.
They said that the victims had a pattern.
On Sundays, it would be women around their teens. On Mondays, it would be men in their thirties. On Wednesdays, It would be children, healthy children. On Thursdays, It would be those old people above their sixties. On Fridays, It will be babies. On Saturdays, it would be lovers.
Y/n frowned and wondered if demons are really like this. "He can even eat sick people. That's disgusting." she made a disgusted face, taking out her tongue unpleased.
Giyuu, who saw her attitude, immediately covered her mouth to stop her spouting. The girl glared at him and teased the palm with a ticklish lick. The man looked at her with a warning which Y/n casted with a roll of eyes... not daring to provoke him again the second time.
"You said it all started seven months?" Y/n pulled the hand off of her mouth and asked a serious question.
"That's right." The villager replied. "At first it didn't sound suspicious. People come and go. There are a lot of people in this village and news comes quite late. After a month, everyone started to suspect that something was wrong."
"So, were there any remains?" Y/n asked.
"Yes." The village dweller was uncomfortable. He had seen a few of those body disposed randomly. Aside from a strike from its heart or a slash, it was bitten off as if ravaged by a wild animal. Only eating small portions every night as if eating the meal was only for its leisure. Also, some parts of the body were also cooked...

After talking with him, Y/n tugged Giyuu's sleeve and also felt complicated. Should we say that the unknown murderer had such a distinctive pallet? And for God knows why, it was very familiar and unbearable for some reason.
"What is it?" Giyuu decided to inquire at the spacing female.
She eyes him and hummed. "Do you think it's a demon?" she asked with a smile on her lips.
"Yes."
"What if it's a ghoul like me." she asked again.
"Then the suspect would automatically be Ayato." Giyuu responded blankly.
Y/n chuckled and a little later, she let out a laugh. "Ayato? The kid?" she scoffed as if she heard a joke. "Believe me, my pallet of choice is worse than him. He'll be fine with just a few slices of any human flesh. But when he eats, he's quite adorable like a chipmunk." she explained.
"You have a pallet?" Giyuu wasn't expecting that. Everytime she has the opportunity, she eats as if she wasn't picky.
"Yes. Of course I have." Y/n was like a fox wagging her furry tail as she looked at him with coquettish eyes and a laid back grin. "I Like the meat from the calf of people in their twenties the most. The meat, fat and muscles are just right and even the right amount of age since they are neither old nor young. I also like the soft bones of the ears, they're nice to chew. Like a crunchy chips."
Giyuu held back his imagination. Although Y/n sounded very passive when she spoke, the words that came out of her mouth is still uncomfortable to listen to. But he endured and got used to it.
"What? At least look disgusted or something~" Y/n urged him.
Giyuu didn't respond and continued to trail the afternoon road. He didn't really know what expression to make at this point. Whether he should be disgusted or not, it didn't matter. In his heart and mind, he was already enlightened after spending a few days with her.
He felt like a hypocrite.
He let her eat human left overs from the demon lairs they've cleared up.
But he also killed the demons who eat the humans.
But why did he not kill her who also eats humans?
After today's conversation about food pallets left him confused. What are demons, what are ghouls, what are humans? Is there still a difference?
He secretly glanced at Y/n who was looking around the village in a carefree manner. Her bamboo haori bounced gracefully with the help of the wind as she ran and turn. Like a normal innocent teenager who was simply visiting town, blending in and conversing. Conversing to the people she regards as livestock. She even had sex with one.
He quickly shook off the thoughts and sighed. He didn't need to find reasonable excuse with this anymore. After all, Y/n is his assigned Tsuguko. All his fate would fall upon her once he dies.
"I still have to teach you breathing technique. You should strengthen your stamina." He suddenly spoke.
Y/n, who was walking in front of him wagging her tail excitedly suddenly stopped. The imaginary tail deflated and her head turned towards the water Hashira. She looked a bit teasing and there was this scheming smile on her lips as she spoke. "I'm sorry, Tapioca-san~ after sex, I think my mind went in the gutter and thought something entirely different from that innocent sentence."
Giyuu looked confused.
What's wrong with what he said?
Breathing tec-- suddenly flashed the thought of Y/n panting under him.
Stamina-- suddenly slammed open a scene that he only knows after Y/n fainted.
Slowly, as if influenced by the naughty tsuguko, he quickly covered half his face to hide the heat on his face, but his red ears gave away and Y/n couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh when she achieved her goal at teasing.
