《Predator(KnY×reader!!Ghoul)》Chapter 11: Nightmares

Y/n woke up with a scream. She quickly sat up feeling her neck as she panted heavily, cild sweat running down through the outline of her cheeks.
The door of her room abruptly slides open, making her looked up at the raven haired male whose hand held the hilt of his sword cautiously. The girl blinked twice, wiping the extent of sweat from her jaw.
"What?" She asked.
"What happened?" He asked her back.
"Well, I saw your face?" She replied questioningly.
Giyuu deadpanned at her. "Why did you scream?" Was his real question, before standing back up properly and stared at her dead in the eyes.
"I just wanted to scream. That's all." She replied back.
He gave her another deadpanned expression, turning around and shutting the sliding doors close. The girl sighed after that, relieved that there wasn't any more questions asked. Lying back down to her matt and covering herself with the blanket.
However, throughout the evening, the girl didn't even sleep a wink.
What's worse is when morning came, her body kept on alert unknown why. However, when she slid opened her sliding door without prior notice, she was surprised to see Giyuu beside her door standing while his arms crossed.
The girl nearly even stabbed him with her Kagune. It was a good thing she immediately caught wind of his smell that made her stop from her attempt. "You're still here." She stated flatly. Ah... the guy who forced her to be allert the entire night is actually him.
The young man turned to her with his blank face as well. "Just to be sure." He replied.
Y/n grimaced at him. "I can defend on my own."
"You were injured."
"Well, I'm not now. I got some strength from your blood, remember." She thought for a while.
Frowning as she couldn't believe the amount of nutrients she was able to obtain just because of some droplets of blood from Giyuu. She glanced at him before walking off.
"With your blood, I was able to heal completely and I'm not even hungry." She said. "All of the Hashira's blood are probably very nutritious--" She hummed.

She abruptly stop feeling the sudden hand that grabbed her wrist and yanked her around in order to face the water Hashira. He was looking at her with his indeferent expression, but his eyes bore a pang of warning.
"Don't cause trouble." He told her.
She scoffed. "Just one bite--"
"No."
She grinned, making her face closer to him while staring at his blue eyes. "Then you volunteer?" She asked, amusement hinted in her tone of voice, licking the slit of her lips and let out a mischievous smile. "Promise it's only little blood and flesh." She said. Of course, provoking him was her only form of teasing. She wanted her too serious of a superior to make other expression. He's probably scared shit yesterday which is why he didn't get to sleep and watched all night in case she goes berserk so that he'll be able to stab her or something.
Giyuu stared at her seriously. His eyes narrowing as he observe her. Her grin widened to ridicule. But as soon as that quiet mouth of his' opened, her smile disappeared. "How much blood." He asked.
Y/n grunted in disbelief. "Seriously? Why are you generous?" She asked.
"So you won't hurt anyone else."
"Ah." The girl caught on quickly. He wasn't being generous. He was just being uselessly sacrificial at that point. So it means, he's not clearly doing it for her sake, but for others'. Sighing, she tapped the man's shoulder lazily before walking off.
Giyuu watched her waving her hand at him.
"You really are a lonely being." She told him until she turned towards the kitchen, disappearing into the Hashira's sight. A few moment later, he heard noise there, probably some glass shattering. "Woops, I dropped your seemingly expensive cup~" she said rather loudly to let him know.
How much she wanted to see a Tomioka Giyuu making an expression close to Sanemi's.
Just what will anger that big block of cold ice statue? Bored as she is, wanting to distract her from any forms of nightmare, she decided to just focuse on making Giyui's face falter.
At least laugh or something.

But the easiest way would probably be by annoying him.
Making her cup of coffee, she went toward's the hallway of the house and sat on her usual spot in front of the yard where Giyuu would usually sway a wooded sword. She lazily lie herself down on the wooden floor with the chirping birds as her company. Butterflies also roamed around the yard like taking a stroll on someone else's garden.
Sipping on her coffee, she yawned once, twice, thrice... who knows. She just wanted to yawn. There's nothing more boring than Giyuu's yard (without him being sweaty and half naked while swinging that wooden sword dramatically) after all.
Sooner the girl caught wind of a scent closeby. Sitting back up and drank her coffee empty before jumping away. Exactly when bluish purple shard hit the same place I was in.
"Hey fucker! Got something you wanna say?" She spat, her voice in tone of annoyance. She now stood on the roof, one tail like kagune came out at her tailbone for defense.
"Hmm... so the bastard's still alive, huh? Quite surprising." Ayato sighed in disappointment. He squatted like a thug on a branch by the lone tree on that yard. His ninja like suit wasn't his usual fashion anymore, instead, he wore the same slayer uniform like hers and a Haori that had what looked like outlines of cracks, inked from dark on the hem, toning into lighter purple shades.
Y/n clapped. "Suits you well, kid." She praised. "So, did you also became a tsukiko?" She asked.
"Idiot, it's Tsugoku. And I'm not a kid, you are."
The two glared at each other. However, it came to a pause when a flash came right in front of the male ghoul. Ayato jumped away, drawing out his kagune to block the water Hashira.
The two men exchanged few blows, but Giyuu being the fastest managed to kick him off his feet on the ground, pointing the blade right to his neck. "Go back to your estate." He demanded, sheathing his sword back.
Y/n jumped down as well, checking onto Ayato with a hum of amazement that this guy was already down in two minutes. "Kid, who took you in?" She asked.
The young man hissed and stood up. "That would be the idiot who kept saying umai everytime." He shrugged.
"So, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Checking up if there's a body to clean up after you." He glanced at Giyuu observingly, seeing a wrapped gauze on his arm well hidden underneath his Haori. "Turns out he's quite lucky. Or you were just weak."
She raised an eyebrow. "He's half lucky that I'm quite weak." She responded. "And you, stop treating me like I'm going to kill everyday and go back to your senior. Else you might be in trouble if you do."
"One, you kill everyday. Two, yes, I'm going back. And I'll be going to a mission so don't. Provoke. That. Angry. Pomeranian. If. You. Want. To. Keep. Your. Head." He told her clearly word per word.
Y/n shrugged. "No promises."
He glared at her before jumping off from the yard and disappeared from her sight.
The female grumbled, turning her head to the Hashira who's been watching the ordeal. "Hey, how come I don't get a mission?" She asked.
"You were injured."
"Not anymore."
"Rest."
"Got enough of that."
"Stop being stubborn." The raven walked off after saying that, entering back to his estate while the girl frowned in annoyance.
Following him back inside and made another cup of coffee, going back to her usual space... a little further to the corner since that spot was damaged by Ayato's sharp feathers of a kagune.
"Come on Mr. Ha-shi-ra! Permit me to slice some creepy demons~" she sang making sure that she was loud enough to hear throughout the estate.
But neither the echoes of her voice returned a reply in that lonely house.
.
Sowey, I'm still in a state where I only stan Giyuu. I'll try making more interactions outside later on. But if not, guess it'll become more of a Giyuu x reader fanfic(sorry bout that).
I'll try getting some more bois and gorls on the harem list.
