The hashiras looked at them in disbelief except for Giyuu who had seen it days before.
"So pretty." Mitsuri covered her lips with a blush on her cheeks.
"While demons exist in this world, ghouls exist in ours." Y/n started. "Human foods are like poisons for our body. It tastes like crap and if we force it in, it will cause us to damage our own organs and we'll have to withdraw it just the same." Her wings folded down and rested to her back.
"In short, you humans are just our livestock--" the girl hit the back of Ayato's head when he said it.
"Yes. We eat humans and demons alike." She smiled.
"This is unacceptable! They prey on humans, how can we just idly stand by and let them devour to their fill?!" Sanemi was quick on the opposition.
Ayato clicked his tongue. "No matter which world you are, this type of idiot always exist." He hissed.
The girl chuckled, elbowing the young man beside her teasingly. "I know right. I wonder if someone with your attitude also exist here? Oh, I think mr. Marechi or Salami there is actually like you."
"Tsk!" He shook her elbow away from his rib.
"Sanemi. I hope you calm your heart. The only thing that Y/n consumed during her stay in this world are demon victims that she's unable to save during her demon slaying." Kagaya explained. "The same goes for Ayato."
Y/n wanted to laugh. Kagaya was lying through his teeth... and he's seriously good at it.
"We eat humans once a month to replenish our strength. Because if we don't. Every humans alive are as good as dead." The girl explained. Walking forward and faced Sanemi with a mocking grin. "So which do you prefer? Us eating dead people? Or us losing control and killing each and everyone we see out of intense hunger?" She asked.
The white haired male frowned at her. "You immoral creature! Do you think I'd let you live!" He swayed his sword at her which she easily grabbed with her palm, blood began to stream down her hand.
"Immoral creature?" Ayato clicked his tongue. "Talk about an ironic person." He said sarcastically.
The girl chuckled. "Well. If you ask me isn't it better to have someone stronger on your side?" She held the blade aside as she leaned closer to him with a mocking grin. Her sharp tail-like kagune, caressing his cheeks roughly that caused a little scratch. "Because if you keep being so close-minded, we don't really mind switching sides. Who would be at a disadvantage?" Her mirthless smile sent shivers down his spine. But he remained firm. This girl is just like any other demon! She needed to die!

He swayed his sword again, planning to cut through her finger if she wouldn't let go but she seemed to have guessed the plan and jumped away.
Sanemi used his breathing style and went to attack her. She decided to just evade his forms and jumped around while Ayato rolled his eyes. The Hashiras remained watching how its going to be while Kagaya quietly sighed.
However, watching things went through, Y/n was the only one recieving the damage from the fight and didn't seem to have the slightest interest to retaliating with her blade and was simply dodging.
"I'm getting irritated now, Marechi..."
Her smile didn't disappear and became even more sinister.
Ayato frowned. He knew that shift of chilling smile all too well, he nearly even died after seeing it, if Eto didn't shot her unconscious.
The expression during her previous tortures or when she's losing her temparament.
Sanemi started feeling how her movements went quicker. At first she was only avoiding, but after a while, her body felt like it was escaping a restraint he didn't thought that would double her strength.
The Hashira knew that she's turning out of control as well, but before everything was too late. Before the people could move and before she could gouge his eye, she was kicked away from her target spot and just as quick, one sharp wing stabbed her back creating a hole through the extent of her belly. Wide eyed, she was stunned from the sudden pain as the boy impaled her she began to scream and thrash her Kagune wildly but the young man caught it and bite one of her wings off from the flesh it was connected and weaken her.
The girl squirmed in pain trying to reach for the man who was trying to eat her kagune off.
The water Hashira felt the need to stop this now. Feeling an uncertain anger heating up in his system. Unsheathing his sword, however once he made eye contact with Kagaya, the leader simply shook his head with a kind small smile.
No choice but to comply, Giyuu watched the morbid scene in front of him. His tsugoku screaming from the pain trying so hard to escape the weapon that was impaling her.
Ayato pulled out his wing off the body, he kicked the back of her knee and planted his feet on her back, pinning her on the ground as soon as she lost her balance. "Don't do anything unnecessary." He said, shooting one round of his sharp feather at the back of her head that stopped her struggling Kagune from moving, blood stained the stone ground like a spilled bucket.

The rc weapon dispersed in the air and her body stopped from struggling.
"Why did you kill her?" Kagaya asked confused at what happened as well.
Ayato hissed. "She's not dead thanks to her tolerance to pain. If I didn't stop her before she could fully take over her alter ego, do you think all of us would still be alive right now?" He picked up her wounded body. Blood started oozing out of her belly and head. It was almost like she was only sleeping but not. "Most ghouls' mentality are not stable once they came from the so called human jails. Once she's triggered, there won't be stopping her." He explained.
"See what I mean?" Sanemi hissed. "Letting that monster live will just cause us trouble--"
"Shut your mouth." Ayato threateningly glared at him. His red irises still held pressure. "If it weren't for humans, do you think she'll be like this? She didn't hurt anyone but people despise us already. You say you're righteous?" He laughed sarcastically. "What created monsters are humans and their evil minds. Y/n is just another victim. Have you humans have heart? Is it fun playing creatures like us because we hardly die on most impossible feats then calling us heartless monsters once we retaliate back to protect ourselves?"
Ayato looked at her and hissed.
"Don't worry. I don't hold grudges on people who doesn't have anything to do with me. After all, you are mere livestocks for us so don't worry. Seeing as Y/n didn't try to kill you must mean that you are significantly acknowledged as an ally so I won't ponder with the issue." He began to walk off the yard only to be stopped when the water Hashira and insect hashira blocked his way. "What do you two want now?"
"Take the girl to the butterfly estate with me. I'm going to tend her wounds." Shinobu explained.
Ayato held her closer to his side. "You don't have to. She'll heal on her own. Her regenerative abiĺity is the same as the one eyed king." He said but realizing that these people doesn't know who he's talking about, he sighed. "Once I feed her, she'll be fine." He explained.
"You are not going to get her out without a Hashira's supervision. That is part of the conditions." Giyuu spoke up before Ayato could leave.
The boy hissed. "I don't have time about your dumb shit ideas. Y/n is already healing."
They could hear the weak groan coming out of the young ghoul as the wounds gather round. Shinobu was baffled by this wonderous regeneration that she couldn't help but stare.
Y/n coughed. Her blood staining her bloody white bamboo haori as Ayato frowned at her. "Stay still, troublesome." He sighed, gripping her arm tighter. "Don't even try unleasing a Kagune or I'll eat it."
"Ayato, please hand your friend over to her Hashira. We have a few things that needs discussing." Kagaya said, meeting eyes with the mentioned Giyuu.
The new comer ghoul clicked his tongue as he saw the water Hashira stepping forward. "She's already unconscious. It's best if you comply." Shinobu urged as well.
"I don't trust you humans. What will happen if that idiot killed Y/n?" The boy hissed.
"I am supervising her. That's the last thing I would do." Giyuu replied nonchalantly.
They stared at each other as of that moment. Menacing cold eyes glared to blank nonchalant ones. Ayato just couldn't understand why but his insistence was going through his nerves.
"You do understand that we're the only ghoul existing in this goddamned world, right? If she ever dies..." the boy's eyes turned into ghoul's. "I'm going to shred every human I'll see alive until I die."
"Yes, I understand that, Ayato. Giyuu is Y/n's Hashira now, we will be sure to keep her safe while she's healing." Kagaya explained.
Unwillingly, Ayato gently handed the girl in the raven's arms to continue said meeting with him. Giving a final threatening glance at Giyuu, he smirked. "Hope you survive." He said that only he could hear before turning around and walked back scoffing at Sanemi as he stood next to the Hashiras.
The water Hashira turned to Y/n. The gashes in her body were closing slowly. Too slow that even her regenerative ability is strong enough, she might die of bloodloss because of the droplets of blood that falls off her clothes.
Y/n's supposed white with black prints of bamboo Haori is no more than a blur of dyed crimson. He needed to stop the bleeding, making him leave the scene disappearing like a typical ninja.

It’s also my first story so constructive criticism is appreciated.
