It was a Saturday morning and I was scrolling through my phone. It was a day I wasn't ready to get out of bed but just lounge around and relax through out the morning.

It is also the day after Andrew and I confessed to each other about our feelings, it was quite interesting.

We decided it was best that we kept our confession a secret for now. It'll be to much for everyone since the wedding is in a few days and I have no choice but to go through with it. Unless I run away.

My body froze, my phone slipped out of my hands on to the ground.

I can run away..

Usually when my mother forces me to do something I run away for a few days then her decision changes and I come back. For example; wearing a dress, going to school, getting needles. I know it's a option I should not be choosing but what else do I have left?

Lifting the covers from my body, I ran over to my closet, pulled out a small duffle bag and my necessities I needed. Multiple outfits; from outdoor wear to night gowns, toiletries, feminine products, small bag of my make up, and money.

Just when I was putting my last outfit inside my bag, Andrew slowly open the door to my room. "Hey Alex I wanted-- WHOA, what happened to your room?"

I lifted my head up and notice my room has been covered with clothes, products and other things I don't quite sure know what it is.

I wiped the sweat from my forehead and huffed, "I'm running away," I smiled proudly.

He nodded his head, "That's pretty cool, how's that going?"

I pointed at my duffle bag, "Pretty good I packed my outfits for a few days, money and--"

"YOU'RE RUNNING AWAY?!"

I guess it didn't register in his head till now. "Yes Andrew I am, do you have a problem with that?" I stated. Even if he did have a problem with it I was not going to back out of this. I have already decided.

Andrew stayed quiet for a few minutes. "No, I kind of want to join you," he said while scratching the back of his head nervously.

My eyes lit up and I clapped my hands together excitedly. "Perfect! It'll be perfect!" I excited ran into my closet looking for more things to pack. Andrew eyes followed me going back and forth into my closet, "How is this perfect?" He added, "Why are you running away?!" He shrieked.

"Well since we're getting married and I tried to think of many ideas but never came up with any," I explained.

He sat down at the corner of my bed and laid his body down, "Or you just let it go for a few months,"

I stared at him then nod my head in agreement, "That's true," my eyes wandered to his exposed skin from the side of his shirt. I tried to refocused on packing my belonging but it was too difficult.

He notice my silence and raised his head from the bed, his brow raised up in confusion. I looked away quickly and blushed. He caught me. I turned towards my vanity, looking for anything else I could pack.

Andrew slipped his arms around my waist and rested his head in between my neck, "I caught you staring at me," he muttered in between my neck. Feeling his hot breath blowing against my skin.

I turned my head the opposite side of Andrew, my cheeks changing a deeper red, "No.."

He kissed my neck, My shoulders relax and I release out the air I was holding. "Yes you were," my breathing quicken, my heart was racing. The place he left his kiss was burning. Burning for more.

I pulled away from Andrew, "We should be going, I have an idea where we can go," I said.

He looked over at me and scrunched his eyes brows with confusion. "Where?"

I grabbed my duffle bag, my phone off the floor and took Andrews hand. We exit my room and quietly walked down the stairs. "I don't know why you're acting so quiet. When I came over, no one was home."

I stepped down the stairs quietly, "Yeah but you been here for a while, I don't want them to know where we are going,"

"Going where,"

I flinched. I should of known in a time like this, mom would be home. I plastered a fake smile on my face, "Mommy!" I extended my arms towards mom in the kitchen.

She raises her head and looks at me suspiciously, "Where are you going?"

Lowering my hands, I let out a shaky laugh, "You see mom... Andrew and I.." I turned my head to Andrew and mouthed, 'Help me'

He cleared his throat and slipped his arms around my waist, "Aunt Lauren, I was thinking of taking Alex out,"

Mom crossed her arms, "Out?"

"Yes out," he said, he stared into my eyes. I started to feel the same feeling I felt upstairs with our encounter. My stomach began to feel queasy, my breathing became deeper. Mom sniffled, "You guys are becoming such a wonderful couple!" She cried out, using the dish towel to stop herself from crying.

Bringing my finger up to stop my mothers assumptions, Andrew took a hold of my hand and dragged me towards the door, "Thanks for allowing her to go out tonight,"

"But I'm--"

Mom waved her cloth like she'a waving goodbye for the last time, "Oh you guys go have fun! I'll see you soon!"

Andrew dragged me over across the street towards his car. I couldn't protest at all. "Andrew,"

"You wanted to run away or not?!" He snapped, walking passed his car towards his house.

I glared at his head, hoping it will catch on fire. "Well mister snappy pants, I want you to explain what you did back there? Mom now thinks we're a wonderful couple! She's going to call your mom and--"

I spoke to soon. Andrews mom was waiting outside, doing the exact same action as my mother was doing at home. Crying while holding a dish towel. I wonder if they are trying to do the whole southern stay at home mom look?

"Mom, why are you out here?" Andrew asked slowly,

I scoffed. Is he that of an idiot? Hasn't he clued in on our mothers by now?

Aunt Andrea wiped her teary eyes, "Oh nothing, I just love seeing young love." She cried out.

Andrew glance at me for help but I shrugged my shoulders. I am not helping him. He gotten our mothers like this, he can fix the problem himself. He still had his hands in between mine, "I was taking Alex out for the night," he said while walking past by his mother, walking upstairs to his room. He opened the door and closed it behind me.

He grabbed his bag and began throwing stuff inside. Tooth brush, underwear, shirts, pants, and cash. He had everything. Once he completed packing, he glance over at my direction, "Ready?" I nodded my head and opened his door. We quickly left his house and started up his car. He did not wait another second for our mothers to notice we left and drove off. He drove down the road until he spoke, "Where are we exactly going?"

"My grandmothers house ,"

He glanced over at me for a quick second then back onto the road. "Your mom side?"

I shook my head, "No dads,"

He stop the car in a great halt. "Alex are you insane. Your mom says she's mentally crazy!!" Andrew shrieked.

"Why did you stop?! Were on moving traffic?!" I barked at him.

His finger pointed towards the lights, "Its red,"

I glanced up and saw that the light was beaming red, "Oh, sorry."

He shrugged his shoulders, "Can I know why we're visiting your grandmother?"

My mother told me all the time that my dad's mother was mentally crazy. She would do crazy things like talk to her self around the house, name her appliances, or act like my father is alive and use his name in present tense.

I only went a few times but once my dad died mom stop visiting completely.

My grandmother emailed me the other day saying she has moved close to where I live And wanted me to stop by, she has a special package for me that was mailed to her house instead.

I am not sure if this is true but one thing that gotten me questioning is; How did she find my email address?

I tapped on my phone for the GPS and typed in my grandmothers address. "She has this package for me, so I want to know what it is then we can officially run away." I explained.

He nodded his head, "Just tell me where to go,"

I started guiding Andrew to my grandmothers house. It took about an hour but we arrived. Where she lived was near the beach. I think its a great place to retire. We reached her house and our mouth drop open. Who knew that she was living in a mansion.

"Maybe we can crash here for the night," Andrew commented.

I nodded my head. Words could not come out, I was out of words. Andrew reached the gate. It was locked but on the side appeared a speaker phone, screen, 9 digits number pad, and a button that said PRESS HERE.

Andrew hesitated. I rolled my eyes and unbuckled my seat. "I'll press the button!" I brought my self over the seat, sitting on Andrews lap and pressed the button. He placed his hands on my hips, "Who knew I would have you this quick on my lap? If only you were--"

"Enough Andrew, you pervert!" I barked at him.

He raised his hand in surrender. "Alright but can you get off my lap? You're awaking Andrew Jr,"

I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion, "Andrew Jr..." I suddenly felt something underneath where I was sitting. I squealed then jumped into my seat. I did not think Andrew Jr meant his.. Never mind I don't want to mention it!

Andrew was to busy laughing, "Your face! It was priceless!" He continued laughing.

I looked down and notice his pants formed a tent. I couldn't help but blush. Why was I blushing? Was he speaking the truth? Did I cause that?

"I now understand why your mom chose him,"

Both Andrew and I jumped in our seats and looked over at the speakerphone which was now showing my grandmothers face. "You both are just amusing to watch. Get inside!" She said then turned off the screen then we heard a loud buzz. The large gate opens. I hopped off of Andrews lap and he started driving up.

Andrew stopped the car in front of the black, large door. A guy came around to his window. "Hello sir, I will be taking your car to the parking area". We both gotten out of the car and grabbed our bags. The guy took Andrews keys and drove off to the parking area.

My grandmother opened her doors and squealed. "My grand baby is home!!! And she brought a boy!!"

I shook my head, "No grandma I--" Before I could tell her any thing she brought me in a bone crushing hug.

"Oh hush Alexandra I know about you and Andrew." She pulled away and pinch my cheeks, "I was just teasing you." She let go of my embrace and looked over at Andrew, "My, you must be Andrew Carter. I remember when you were just a tiny little baby." Andrew was also brought into a bone crushing hug.

I wonder if this is a grandmother thing?

"Now! Who wants cookies? You guys traveled a long way to come up here. Did your mother sent you? Never mind that lets get inside!" She rambled on while walking towards the front door.

Andrew and I exchange glances before walking inside. It looked just the same as the other house when I was younger but the interior designs looks more modern.

We walked pass a wall of photos. It had some when I was a baby, also my father and my mothers wedding. The photos seemed like they were in order until it stopped when I was 8. Just before dad died.

We took a trip to Dubai with grandma. It was fun! I do not remember much of the trip but I do remember riding a camel across the beach.

We finally gotten to the kitchen and I notice she changed a few things, the gas stove was replace by a electric non-element stove, the color of the wall was a light sandy color. Simple things to make her kitchen seem modern. My grand mother came back with a small plate full of cookies and three glasses of milk. "Come sit and let's talk,"

Both Andrew and I sat down at the kitchen table side by side, and having my grandmother sitting in front of us.

She placed her hands folded on the table. "Now tell me what going on? Besides trying to end your wedding in the most craziest ways."

Andrew and I exchange looks, "How do you know that?" Both of us asked.

"I may live out here on the beach but I know what is going on. No need to ask how I know. I would like to know why you guys are here? You need be at home preparing to stop your wedding." My crazy grandma stated.

"Can I ask why you are encouraging us to go stop our wedding?" Andrew asked suspiciously.

My grandma got up unexpectedly and walked out of the kitchen, "Come with me little ones,"

We quickly gotten out of our seats and followed my grandma to her office near the living room. Andrew walked in first and I followed after. My grandma took down a box full of files. "A1....A2....Aha here is the file!!" She handed me a file that marked my dads name on it. Why was she handing me a file that had his name on it? Was their something in here that I needed to know?

"Grandma why do I need this?" I asked slowly.

She sat down at her desk and took off her glasses, "When your dad was in the hospital, I was not allowed to see him. I did not know how your dad died or was informed what date he died. Your mother kept that away from me and also you. I missed ten years of seeing you developed into a beautiful women. I have investigated on how your father past away. In these files are the answers I have been waiting for."

I opened the file folder slowly and saw that their was pages of the hospital my dad was at, the funeral services, a copy of the police report from the accident. But one thing caught my eye. "Why does the Hospital records say that he was admitted two days before his funeral."

Andrew took a sheet of paper out of the file and examine it. I continued to look at the hospital record. My face drained of color, this can not be true.

"In the hospital records it does not say anything of my dad dying."

Andrew sat down, "This will was not signed by your dad,"

Both my grandmother and I glanced over at him. "I beg your pardon?" My grandmother let out. She stayed quiet for a moment, "Well I know that Carlos, Dad and Uncle Anthony were all working for a Law firm, but when Dad was in the hospital, he made a will and signed it himself." She explain.

Andrew handed over the will to my grandmother. She read the will, her hand went over her mouth. "Your arrange marriage is a set up."

At that moment, you could of hear a pin drop on the floor. Everyone was quiet. All three of us are astounded. Everything was starting to make sense.

"We have to go back," I blurted out.

Andrew snapped his head towards me, "Are you crazy?! Alex they want us to get married for--"

"Were not going to get married." I interrupted Andrew. "Let the wedding happen."

Andrew and my grandmother shared the same expression with each other, then turn their attention back towards me. "Alex do you know what you're doing?" My grandmother asked me slowly.

I nodded my head, "Yes and I have a plan."
