Blake's POV:

The meeting was getting interesting every minute. The Alphas are jerks, even though I am an Alpha myself.

The meeting started from talking about the pack borders to packs working with rogues.

Alpha Walter is the biggest jerk on earth. He is a sexist, no wonder he doesn't have a mate and he is fifty.

I feel sorry for Alpha Hazel, the only female Alpha in the history of werewolves. Her brother died five years ago when she was sixteen. The pack's Beta at that time, an old man became Alpha and let's say he was abusive and worked with the rogues in the attack of the Grange pack, the pack was totally destroyed years ago leaving no survivors. It's a massacre.

Alpha Hazel challenged him for his position, even though she was naturally the Alpha when she comes of age. She won him fair and square and became the Alpha two years ago and it took two years to bring her pack how it was before. She killed the rogues, and punished or killed those who sided with the previous Alpha.

Alpha Walter yelled," You are working with the rogues aren't you?! You and your pack are the ones who attacked the Granger pack. You are blaming the poor previous Alpha of yours who you killed"

Hazel rolled her eyes and sarcastically said," Yeah! I'm working with the rogues. Do you know what I ordered them?! To kill you! Why don't you hide somewhere Walter?!"

The next second he yelled," Everyone listen! She just confessed!"

Many of us chuckled. Aiden said," Walter! Have you ever heard what sarcasm is?! She told you sarcastically!"

Everyone laughed. Cade said," Walter, I heard from my sources that before you came you visited the rogues in their cave."

The room was pin-drop silent.

Walter's face was pale. He started," I-I..."

Cade questioned," Cat caught your tongue, Walter? Answer me. Answer us."

"As the head of the committee, I question you. Do you Alpha Walter have any ties with the rogues?"

He didn't answer.

Cade asked again, "I repeat Alpha Walter. Do you have any ties with the rogues? The rogues that attacked several packs throughout the year."

Cade sighed and said," Well... Do any of the Alphas here have any relation with the rogues?"

I know that as time passed without anyone answering the question, Cade's temper was running out.

Cade has the worst temper. God, the first time we met I pissed him off badly, both of us had bruises.

We were best friends for years, Aiden said that it was because both of us were very similar.

I want this meeting to be over. I looked around, the air was tense. Everyone's face was stern, no one willing to answer the question. I looked at Cade and he shook his head. His eyes were filled with anger. He pointed out for me to watch everyone.

Alpha Devon was playing in his phone occasionally glancing up at Hazel?

Aiden was also playing on his phone. God, how did he ever become my friend? Never mind how they both got their mobiles.

Hazel, who ignored the looks Devon threw at her, she played w her hair and rotating her chair.

The Alphas of the Bridge hill and Grey wolf pack were bored out of their minds as they looked around.

Alpha Dylan, I hate him. Lexi was rejected by him, she went through a lot. But I must thank him though, if he didn't reject her I wouldn't have found Lexi. But I heat him. He was very suspicious when I met him yesterday and the looks he threw at Lexi yesterday, I wanted to kill him there, but Aiden stopped me.

Lexi was happy and I didn't want her to be mad at me for something I do, so I pretended to play nice to him and his mate Britney for Lexi's sake.

God! I miss her, the meeting started at eleven. I didn't even say a bye to her nor did I kiss her. The first thing I'm going to do when this meeting is over is to see her or else I'll go crazy. Yesterday when Dylan hugged her, I wanted to kill him.

Dylan was really suspicious now, even suspicious than yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if he was involved in the attacks. And if he even touches a hair of Lexi, he is dead. He was looking at the clock as if he was waiting for something to happen. His pack wasn't attacked along with Walter's which make them the prime suspect for the attacks.

That's it, the clock struck one. I hit the table with force and said," Why don't you guys answer?! Do you think this is a prank! We lost over hundreds and hundreds of our people in this attack. How many are going to die?"

Minutes passed. Then suddenly we heard howls and the door opened, the beta of Crescent moon yelled," The pack is being attacked"

Shit! I'm going to kill Dylan. Lexi. Shit! She and the Lunas were near that lake.

Aiden said," All our mates are near the lake. Blake, Lan. Lexi, Lina and AL are there."

Every one of us ran towards the lake when we went there we saw two wolves, one brown and grey wolf.

Where the hell is Lexi?

The brown wolf which was a size larger than the grey one. Every one of us stood staring at the scene. Many wolves lie dead on the ground.

The brown wolf came towards us, but before anyone could do anything. Cade stepped forward and kneeled down to the wolf," Emma"

The wolf whimpered and licked him. Then she licked her would leg. Cade whispered," Em... You're hurt. Shift baby."

We heard someone running, we turned around and saw Lina. She brought clothes.

Where the hell is Lexi?!

Lina ran towards Cade and handed him Emma's clothes and then she gave it to the grey wolf.

Maybe Lexi is safe.

But Lina came to me and gave Lexi's clothes and asked," Where is she?"

I asked he confused," What do you mean Lina? I-I thought she was with you."

I looked around, but I was not able to see the white wolf.

Aiden hugged Lina and asked," Lina baby, where is Alex?"

Lina panicked and said," When the wolves attacked... she told me to take AL safely back to the hotel... she said she was going to fight them..."

Sounds just like Lexi, prioritizing others over her.

I pulled my hair in frustration, while my wolf was fighting me to take over to find his mate. An angry Zach (my wolf) isn't easy to handle.

Aiden and Landon came forward and said," Blake! Blake! Don't give control to your wolf! "

Zach was fighting me.

I tried to mind link her, but it is not working. I'm not able to link with her.

I'm going to kill anyone if something happened to her.

I went to Emma, who was now shifted and leaning on Cade. She was deeply hurt, bruises all over her body.

I asked her," Emma! Where is Alexandra?"

Cade glared at me and said," Emma is hurt, Blake!"

Aiden held me from back before I could do anything.

I glared back at Cade and growled, "My mate is missing!"

Cade growled back," Mind your tone, Blake!"

Devon came in between," Both of you! Stop growling!"

He then pointed his finger at Cade and said," Cade. Take your mate to the infirmary. Now."

Cade growled at Devon for ordering him, but he obeyed.

Devon then pointed his finger at me and said," Blake. I understand that your mate is missing. You need to stay calm now. Don't let your wolf in control, try to control him. "

He then turned to Aiden and said, "Aiden, come with me. "

Then he asked Landon to hold me in my room.

I hated that he ordered me, but he wasn't nicknamed as The Alpha of Peace for no reason.

I'm losing control. I needed Lexi. I can't live without her, she is my drug.

Landon said to me," Come on man let's go to your room."

When I entered the room, I felt myself in a comfort zone. Lexi's scent.

Landon was talking on the phone while AL sat next to me. She squeezed me hands as she leaned on my shoulder she said," You know, Alex is one of the strongest people I have seen. She will be alright. "

Devon, Elina and Aiden entered the room. I demanded Devon," What happened to her?"

Devon ran his hand through his hair and said," We don't know. Cade's mate is unconscious. The doctor said she may wake up but we don't know and Luna Britney, well Alpha Dylan said she needs some rest... She will talk in maybe half an hour"

I growled," I need to speak to her now! My mate is missing Devon! "

Devon sighed and said," Blake! We are trying okay? One is unconscious while the other isn't talking"

Aiden said, "Blake, you need to calm down. Alex is not only your mate. She is my sister. I can't lose her again. I suspect someone in this pack is working with the rogues"

A shocked Devon asked," What? Why didn't you tell me Aiden?"

I'm going to kill that person. Definitely.

How dare they?!

Before Aiden could answer, the door opened and Hazel strolled in saying," I found something regarding Luna Alex's abduction"

Devon asked her in a different tone completely opposite of the way he talks to us," What is it?"

Hazel glared at him and said, "I think Alpha Dylan is involved. I heard him talking to someone in the phone name Ray"

That's it. One reason to kill him.

Aiden's eyes narrowed at her answering and he himself was losing control," Oh no"

Before I could storm out to kill him, I felt Landon and Devon pulling me inside.

AL glared at me and said," Blake Hudson Knight! I understand how you feel, but now don't do anything. Listen to me, Blake!!"

Aiden yelled," Why should we listen to AL? That man is involved in my sister's kidnapping!"

He himself was angry, I turned to his side to Lina holding him back, calming him and his wolf from doing anything.

He then asked Hazel," Are you sure you heard him say the name Ray?"

Hazel nodded," Yes"

Aiden said," How the hell is he alive?"

I asked him," Who the hell is he?"

Aiden continued," First Dylan, he hurt her. Second Ray. Now both together"

I asked him," Who the hell is Ray?"

Aiden said," You should first know the first part. The part Dylan hurt Alex"

Devon and Hazel asked at the same time," What?"

Then they both glared at each other.

I said," Both of you if you are going to fight. Get out!"

Devon rolled his eyes and asked," What happened?"

Lina said," Alpha Dylan was Alex's, first mate"
