Today was the annual meet ball. Also, my parent's death anniversary.

Aiden and I decided to spend the day together. So, here we are in the restaurant downstairs.

It was around two, so I had an hour to finish my lunch and leave to get ready.

Aiden asked me, "Have you met anyone you know?"

I didn't understand what he was asking, "What?"

He repeated with clarity, "Have you met anyone from the crescent moon? Someone you know"

I replied," Yeah...A girl named Diana, she is the Beta's mate. She even recognised me."

He asked, "Was she one of your bullies?"

I frowned at his question and answered, "Aid! No one in this pack bullied me...they just didn't like me ..."

Aiden mocked, "Didn't like you because you didn't shift then?"

I placed my hands on his calming him down.

I said, "Aiden...Now I'm happy...I have you with me, have Blake"

Aiden sighed, "I know...it's your past. You know that I'm always there for you...Even if Blake leaves you, I will always be there for you"

I narrowed my eyes at him. Then I sighed, "I know..."

Our conversation was cut short when our food arrived, I thanked the waiter.

After we finished our lunch, an unexpected guest arrived.

He didn't notice me, he was here to talk to Aiden. I was about to sneak out, but Aiden held my hand tightly and gave me a don't-you-leave look.

I sighed. It was about time I faced him.

He said, "Alpha Aiden. It's nice to meet you. I hope you are comfortable with your stay here."

Aiden nodded," Alpha Dylan. It is nice to finally meet you. I have heard a lot about you. I wanted to visit you when I heard you became the Alpha, but I had a lot of unexpected work. And, yes, this hotel is very comfortable and is to my liking"

Alpha Dylan smiled and said," I hope so."

I wanted their conversation to be over or at least I must escape here. Seeing Alpha Dylan after a few years. He has changed a lot. He appeared mature and responsible.

He continued," Please, call me Dylan. I heard you opened a restaurant recently, in the Blood moon pack, after your late parents."

I squeezed Aiden's hands. Aiden and I decided to open up a restaurant after our parents. As for everyone, it was another restaurant of the partnership between the Greys and Knights.

Aiden smiled sadly, "Yes, it's actually opening today. Our parent's death anniversary. It's not only my restaurant, as you know it's a restaurant I have in partnership with the Knights."

Dylan said, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry we couldn't move the meet later. It was the only week which appeared to be clearer for everyone."

Aiden shook his head," No...No worries at all. I'm glad, I'm here. My cousin is taking care of the opening."

Dylan said," Beta Jason? "

Aiden said, "Yes"

Dylan said, "I have met him once, he was quite cold towards to me... I don't know what I did wrong..."

I saw the time, it was three. I needed to leave. Dylan didn't notice me, as I put my hair in front of me, which blocked my face.

I squeezed Aiden's hand hard. He then looked at me, I pointed my watch.

This action brought the attention of Dylan towards me. He questioned," This is your mate I assume?"

Aiden glanced at his watch and then at me.

Aiden's mode changed," No... My mate is resting ...I have to leave Dylan...I promised to meet Alpha Blake and Alpha Landon now"

Dylan grinned," yeah... No problem... I hope to see them tonight...I will see you tonight Alpha Aiden"

Aiden nodded, "Call me Aiden"

With that, I pulled Aiden with me and walked fast. Before I could be out of Dylan's sight," What is your name? You look familiar"

I turned around and said," Alexandra"

I didn't wait for him to respond, I fled the scene instantly.

When we were in the elevator, I yelled," Aiden! "

He said," I'm sorry... Okay? It wasn't intentional..."

I was angry with him," Intentional! My foot"

He apologised again, "I'm sorry sis..."

The elevator opened and a couple came in, I recognised them as Alpha Cade and his mate Luna Emma. They both were from The Seven Stone Pack. Their pack were the second-largest pack and the Alpha himself was powerful.

They both didn't give us a glance until Aiden said," I'm sorry Alex...I know you didn't want to meet him so soon..."

I didn't want this conversation to last," its okay A. Leave it, most probably he won't recognise me."

Luna Emma stared at musingly," I assume you both are Alpha Aiden and Luna Alex? I support you guys"

I smiled at her," Yes... I wasn't aware we both were this famous and support what?"

She said," You guys and Alpha Blake are the talks of the hotel"

Aiden asked," We are?"

Alpha Cade said," Emma. Stop discussing the rumours ... they are just rumours"

I asked," What rumours?"

Alpha Cade glared at his mate, but his mate was stubborn," That there is a love triangle between you three... and even though Alpha Aiden has a mate."

Luna Emma glared at her mate and continued, "That you Luna Alex was Alpha Aiden's girlfriend when you were at his pack"

Aiden and I said at the same time," disgusting!"

Alpha Cade and Luna Emma stared at us confused.

I clearly said it to them, "I'm Alexandra Grey-"

Luna Emma questioned," Both of you are married? Congratulations"

I cleared my throat and repeated," I'm Alexandra Lennon Grey. Aiden Grey is my brother. Blake Knight is my mate."

They both seemed surprised.

Luna Emma apologised," We are sorry... I mean I didn't know that you both were siblings... There were rumours that Luna Alex was seen hanging with both the Alphas closely... We are sorry."

Alpha Cade looked at her with the I-told-you-so look.

I just laughed," It's okay... we don't look alike, except for our eyes."

Aiden too said," Please call us Aiden and Alex"

They both apologised again for the misunderstanding, "We are sorry...Please call us by our names"

We reached my floor, I bid them goodbye and exited and walked to my room.

It was already three-thirty, Blake was asleep on the sofa with a book on him. I took the book and kept it on the table took a blanket and covered him.

I took a bath and wore my bathrobe as my hair was not dried. By the time I was out, Blake was awake. He was typing on his laptop.

He asked me," How was your day?"

I replied back drying my hair," It was good, I haven't spent time with Aiden in a long time when I used to be in white moon, Aiden and I went out monthly once as a sibling day. So this day was like that."

He said, "I'm glad."

I saw that the time was already five. So, I asked him," Aren't you getting ready? It's already five"

He rolled his eyes and stated," It's only five. The ball only starts at seven. Two more hours more"

I sighed, "Blake? There is a rumour around"

He said," I don't care"

I said," About us"

He looked me in the eyes and said," Still... I don't care"

I continued," That there is a love triangle between you, Aiden and I"

He said," Disgusting! I don't think people don't know that you and Aiden are siblings"

I said," Same"

He asked," Who told you?"

I replied, "Luna Emma, Alpha Cade's mate. She even thought that I was married to Aiden..."

I laughed and continued," Alpha Cade is just like you, not interested in the gossips and rumours...He told his mate not to tell us ..."

Blake guessed, "But the typical Aiden and you wanted to know and clear the rumours"

I asked," You know me very well"

He chuckled and kissed my forehead and went to the restroom.

By six-thirty, we both were ready. I was wearing a one-shoulder blue dress. I paired it with my heels.

Blake hugged me from backwards and whispered, "You look gorgeous... "

I blushed and said, "Thank you"

I pulled away from the hug and turned around. I caressed his cheeks and looked at him properly.

He looked so handsome in his black tuxedo. I said," You look handsome as always"

He smirked, I said," Don't be cocky that I complimented you"

He rolled his eyes and wrapped his hand around my waist.

My phone started ringing. It was on the nightstand. Blake said," Wait here"

He took the phone and answered," Hey Lina"

"We'll be downstairs in five ."

"Okay...see you"

I smiled at him. He kissed me and said," You look so beautiful... I don't want to let you out. But we have to attend the ball."

We both went downstairs to the lobby.

I immediately spotted Elina. She was wearing a red off-shoulder dress which was floor length.

I called," Lina!"

When she heard me, she turned around and grinned," Alex! You look gorgeous and I absolutely love your dress!"

I said," You stole my lines, Lina!"

We both laughed. Aiden hugged me and said," You look gorgeous A!"

I replied, "Thanks, bro. You look good"

He asked," Just good?"

Before I could answer AL hugged me.

She wearing a full-sleeved green dress which was made of velvet and wore her diamond earring.

I said, "You look gorgeous AL! "

AL replied," You too Alex"

Landon hugged me and said the same thing as he warned AL not to run.

After about ten minutes of taking photos, we entered the ballroom where the ball was taking place.

Alpha Dylan and Britney were standing in the front welcoming the guests.

Blake whispered," Are you ready?"

I inhaled and replied," I'm ready"
