After half an hour, we reached Lucy's diner, even though it was nearly three in the noon, it was crowded. Most people were from school, as the school was a five-minute walk and the packhouse was a ten-minute walk.

On Sundays, it was even crowded. Students mostly use the diner as a place to finish projects or for club meetings.

Being here brings me a lot of memories. As I didn't have any friends except Britney, we usually hanged out here. I would listen to rambling about Dylan or clothes she bought.

Spencer parked the car nearby and Blake opened the door for me. When we entered the diner, it became silent. Everyone stared at us, and I felt uncomfortable. Even though I'm used to having attention, this was different.

My ex-pack mates were staring. After a few seconds, people started minding their own business. I sighed, Blake took my hand and led to me an empty table, "Come on"

The minute we sat, I mumbled to him," It's so weird...and awkward" He just laughed, "You know, you can't escape"

I just pouted, our conversation was cut short when the waitress came.

She chirped, "What can I get you both?"

I let Blake order for me while I went to use the restroom. It was occupied. When the girl came out, I was surprised.

Diana. Britney and she were frenemies and she was one of my bullies. When she came out, she bumped me, she turned around and furrowed her eyebrows," Have we met? You like kind of familiar"

"I don't think so. Excuse me", with that I went inside the restroom. I once again sighed, I never taught someone would recognise me. I have changed a lot. My eyes were much brighter and my hair darker. Well a little more changes, I started wearing makeup.

After finishing my business, I went and sat. Blake was on phone again, I rolled my eyes at him, typical Blake. I should have known he was working. Again.

When the food came, I thanked the waitress. "Lexi? Aiden is on line"

I grinned and said, "Aiden! Where are you?"

He laughed and said, "I'll be there before you know. So, I heard from Blake you were stubborn...Alex, there is no need for you to be there...I mean it's hard on you-"

"Stop it A! Both of you are forcing me to go back, then I will go. It's clear that I'm not wanted here."

I heard him sigh and Elina scolding him, "Sorry Alex.....I didn't mean it like that...I'm sorry...Will you forgive me, baby sis? "

I smiled at Blake who was clearly hearing this conversation, with his eyes showing concern, "Don't worry Aid...I'm not mad at you. I forgive you. You do know that I love you?"

"I know. I love you too, we will be there in by nine ..Don't worry", with that he cut the call.

Blake took my hand in his and said, "I love you"

I replied, "I love you too. Now eat"

After we finished eating, Blake paid the bill and I went out for fresh air. I saw Spencer talking with some people, but when he saw me, he said something to his friends which made them stare at me and then he went to the car.

When Blake came out of the diner, he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead.

"Blake, I met someone who I knew and almost recognised me", I confessed to him.

He said," What?"

I continued, "It was Diana...She and Britney were frenemies" I didn't have time to continue as the car came. Spencer opened the door for me.

When we were inside, I laid my head on Blake's shoulder and stared out.

Blake's phone started ringing, I sighed. Blake kissed my forehead and whispered, "Work"

I rolled my eyes.

Half an hour later, we entered the hotel we were staying. There were many guards around the hotel, as more than ten Alphas and their Luna were staying. If something happened, it would be at the fault of the crescent moon, which would tarnish their name.

Spencer opened the door for me, I muttered a thank you to him and got down from the car. The next second Blake was on my side while the hotel staff took our suitcases.

Blake checked in, then we went to our room which was on the twelfth floor. When we were in our room, I kicked off my shoes and went to bed.

Blake came and sat near me and said, "You are going to sleep?"

I shook my head for a no, and opened our suitcases to unpack, while I let Blake sleep. He never sleeps for at least eight hours.

After about an hour, I finished unpacking. I heard the doorbell ring.

When I opened the door, it was someone I didn't expect. Diana.

I asked her politely, "How can I help you?"

She had a smirk on her face," I remember you. You are Alex. Britney's sister."

She figured out. I asked her," so?"

She was surprised. I never talked back to anyone in crescent moon. But talking back to others became a habit of mine because of Jason. I was always thankful for that creature of a cousin I have. I learned a lot of things from him, including bad habits.

She then recovered from shock and gave me an envelope. She said, "Give it to Alpha Blake. And don't worry, I'll arrange a room for you, you are definitely not his mate."

I said, "I will give it to him".When she turned back, I continued, "And. Mind your own business"

With that, I closed the door. I opened the envelope, it was the schedule for the week.

Today, there were no meetings or dinners. Tomorrow was the annual meet ball. From the day after tomorrow, there would be meetings till the last day, when there was another ball, finalizing the end of the week and the annual meet.

I put it down on the nightstand and went to the balcony. The view from here was beautiful. The crescent lake, which was famous here in crescent moon along with the forest surrounding it.

There were a few wolves, playing around in that area. Many wolves training there and pups playing with their parent wolves.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the doorbell. Before I could open the door, Blake opened the door. It was AL.

I hugged her. She asked me, "How are you?"

I replied, "I'm good. You?"

While Blake and Landon talk, we both went on a walk. When we were downstairs, she blurted out, "I'm pregnant"

My eyes widened at her confession. I hugged her.

I asked, "How many weeks?"

She said, "Three weeks...I found it yesterday...haven't told Landon yet"

I was very happy. "Wow...I'm going to an aunt"

She smiled happily. We spent an hour walking around the hotel, talking.

She was so happy but was upset how Blake will react it. When we returned to the lobby, we heard someone call us.

"Alex!"

"AL"

It was Elina and Aiden.

I hugged them, then AL hugged them.

AL pulled Elina to talk with her, as they walked in front of me and Aiden. Aiden lazily put his shoulder around my shoulder.

We both started talking about random things like we used to do when we were in the white moon pack.

When we went to Aiden's room, Aiden opened the door, while Elina said she wanted to talk with AL. But before she went she whispered in my ear," Both of you need to talk, you guys haven't talked in months and..."

It was true, it was just a formal greeting on the phone, he was busy with work and if we visit each other, I spent time with Elina. Tomorrow was our parents' death anniversary,

We both stood awkwardly at the door staring at each other.I've never felt this awkward with him.

I hugged him," I missed you so much, big bro"

He kissed my forehead and whispered," I missed you too baby sis..."

We went in and sat on the sofa in the balcony. I laid my head on his shoulder and we talked. Talking things, about the white moon pack, our family, blood moon, and Aiden talked about our parents. As he spent many years with them than me, he knew them.

It was around eight when all of them came, Blake, AL, Landon and Elina. They ordered food to Aiden's room.

We all sat down inside talking, Landon's younger sister Daisy found her mate. Landon sent her to the blood moon pack, as Ash insisted she may find her mate here.

Blake asked, "Who is her mate?"

Ash who was in a video call with us, grinned widely, "You all know him"

"Ash...tell us", I insisted her to tell.

She yelled, "Its Elijah!"

Everyone was happy. AL made sure Landon didn't do anything stupid. He was after all her older brother. Older brothers are overprotective.

As Ash and the others in blood moon were on a video call with us.AL decided to confess.

She stood up and said, "I'm pregnant"

Landon who was drinking water, spit it out. He stared at her questioning whether it was true. She nodded at him and took his hand keeping it on her stomach.

He then said, "I'm going to be a dad"

AL had tears in her eyes. Then they both hugged. When they pulled away, AL glanced at Blake.

He smiled at her. She smiled back.

Aiden and Elina hugged her and congratulated, while the others who were in a video call, yelled out congratulation.

After that everyone left to our respective rooms. I then remembered I had to give him the schedule.

I called him, "Blake? The beta's mate gave this. The schedule for the week."

He smiled at media changed to shorts and crop top and went to the balcony, where Blake was relaxing. I took a bottle of wine and glasses and poured for him some.

He took a sip, staring out. He then said, "This pack has a beautiful view."

I nodded," That's why it made me a bit difficult to leave this pack"

I poured myself another glass and continued, sitting comfortably, "I knew I had to leave this pack... I had many reasons...One, I was rejected by my mate, I could have stayed, but my mate being an Alpha made it difficult for me to stay."

Blake pulled me to his lap resting his head on my shoulder. I lifted two fingers and said, "Two, I had only one friend, Britney who was my sister"

Lifting another finger, "Three, I wasn't treated equally here"

I grinned and continued, "Now I'm glad I left. Reasons"

I lifted one finger, "One, I wouldn't have found Aiden or the rest of my family and would have never known them"

Lifting another finger, "Two, I wouldn't have found you...To which I'm happy... Now, I have a family"
