Long ago, well 20 years to be precise, Beast and Belle got married in front of their closest friends and family. What a lot of cake they had to make. So instead of a honeymoon, Beast decided to round up any and all villains, big and small, and send them to a very small island far off the coast of the newly established United States of Auradon, and surrounded them with a magical barrier to keep them all on the island. This is my home, we have no magic, nor Wi-Fi, and no way out. Or so I thought, but before we get into all of that juicy fun stuff, something else happens.

Ben and I were getting measured for Ben's coronation, I am to become his Royal Advisor. Oh, I didn't tell you who I was. I'm Ethan, second child of Queen Elsa of Arendelle, second in line to the throne. The tailor was making sure they had our exact measurements for our suits. "How is it that you're gonna be crowned King and Royal Advisor next month? You're both just babies." King Adam asked us and I smiled, Queen Belle and King Adam were family to me, I grew up with Ben and often was considered their child and not my Mother's child. "They're turning 16, dear." Queen Belle reminded her husband. "Hey, Pops." Ben said and I could sense his nervousness from here, I know that the first proclamation we do is important but he wanted his parents approval. "Sixteen? That's far too young to be crowned King and Royal Advisor." King Adam told us and there was a glint of mischief in his eyes. "I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42." He explained and immediately I knew that Queen Belle would take offense to that, and she did. "Uh. You decided to marry me at 28." She told him and he joked saying it was either her or the teapot, Ben laughed at his Father's situation while I mirrored Queen Belle's face.
"Mom, Dad." Ben started and tried to move, but the tailor stopped him from moving. "Me and Ethan have chosen our first official proclamation." Ben told them and we both stood proud, the King and Queen were curious about what our idea is. "We've decided that the children on the Isle of the Lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon." I told them and the two looked at us with shocked faces, so much that the Queen dropped the clothes that were in her hand. Ben started explaining his reasons and the tailor sighed as he realized that he would have to deal with what he has. "The children of our sworn enemies? Living among us?" King Adam asked us and I nodded while Ben continued explaining. "We've already chosen the first five candidates." I told them and King Adam looked at us with a very ticked off face, he was about to Beast out but Queen Belle stopped him. "Who are their parents?" She asked us and Ben started the list. "Cruella De Vil, Jafar." Ben started and I spoke up. "Evil Queen." I said and both Ben and I spoke at the same time. "Hades and Maleficent." We said and our tailors screeched in shock while King Adam went all Beast on us.

"Maleficent and Hades?!" He shouted and I was scared but I kept my cool. "They're the worst villains in the land!" King Adam shouted and Ben tried to get his Father to listen but he wouldn't, and I quickly told the two tailors to leave and both did and I froze both Ben and King Adam to the ground. "Enough, Your Majesty, I understand your reasonings. But in case you forgot, we need someone to rule the Underworld, the Gods on Olympus are unable to deal with the souls. And besides that, those children deserve a chance at a life that isn't on that Isle." I explained our reasonings and he looked at his wife and I released the two from their mini ice capture. "I suppose the children are innocent, and your thought about the Underworld." King Adam resigned and he began to walk away, Queen Belle congratulated us both and the two walked out. "Good job Ben, now we just need to get them here in one piece." I told him and he laughed. "Yeah, and please don't freeze my feet again, I think my shoes almost got ruined." Ben joked and I rolled my sapphire eyes at the tiny Beast.
We both looked out and saw the grungy Isle and I realized that we needed to get people there to clean up the area for them. Ben was twisting his signature Beast ring, it was to signify his family crest. Mine was in a shape of a snowflake and silver compared to Ben's gold ring.

Life on the Isle is rough at times, I mean you're expected to be as evil as your parents. Personally I haven't done anything too evil, just stolen clothes, food and heating supplies when we needed it. Hi, I'm Hattie, daughter of Hades, I have a younger half brother named Hadie and a older half sister who hates my guts. When I was around eight, my Mom died from an illness that she couldn't beat, her and Dad were even planning on getting married. They briefly weren't together at one point and that lead to Hadie's creation, but the two deeply loved one another and she was the one who melted the God of the Underworld's heart. I live with Dad while Hadie lives with his Mom who is actually nice to him and me, she even treats me as her own child which is nice.
I hated how everyone except Dad wanted me to be this evil being, try and take over Olympus like my Father did. I didn't want to be evil, I mean I know I had to be at least tough to make it on the Isle, but I didn't want to be like Dad at all, I wanted to be me. Dad understood that, he hated the people over in Auradon because they banished him on the Isle, but he only went after Olympus because it was technically his birthright. He was supposed to rule Olympus with Zeusy-boy and Poseidon but he was cast out early in their reign, Dad just wanted what was rightfully his. There was also the fact that he tried to kill Hercules and I won't say he had a right to do so, and Dad has had time to contemplate his actions but he still believes that what he did was right.

Today seemed like any other day, I was heading to the market to, hopefully, get some food for me and Dad. Hadie was focusing on his studies in the school so I wasn't worried about feeding him, plus his Mom would be able to make sure he eats. Suddenly one of Maleficent's goons picked me up by my armpits and I struggled to get out of his hold. "Let me go you washed out goon!" I shouted at them but they just carried me to where Maleficent was and she didn't look happy to see me. "Hattie." She said and I looked at her. "Maleficent, may I ask why am I here?" I asked her and she said nothing and then just motioned her minions to follow her and so I was still being dragged like a stray cat. Finally we reached where Mal and her gang was, she held up a lollipop that she most likely stole from a small child. Everyone started screaming and Mal and them knew who it was. "Hi Mom." Mal greeted her Mother and I was dropped finally, I fixed my hoodie and ran my hands through my sapphire hair. "Stealing candy, Mal? I'm so disappointed." Maleficent told her daughter, but was happy when she learned that it was from a baby, how stereotypically evil of her. Maleficent eventually returned the candy to the child and the Mother and child were able to leave.
After watching interactions between Mal and her Mother, Maleficent told us that us five, were heading to Auradon. "What?!" Both Mal and me screeched, Mal glared at me and I simply ignored her. "Mom, I'm not going to some school with prissy pink princesses." Mal told her Mother. "And perfect princes." Evie, Mal's best friend, said in a dreamy state and I rolled my eyes at her pathetic state, definitely her Mother's daughter. I readjusted my glasses and continued listening to the kid's reasons for not wanting to go. Don't these children not see this as a chance to be what we want to be, and not have to be our parents, nope not at all. Maybe I was around Yen Sid too much, eh it's fine, he's a cool person.
We ended having to meet up with Maleficent after we gathered out things, and let's say Dad was not a happy camper. I never heard her swear more than in that moment. "Dad, calm down." I told him and he looked at me and cooled down. "I'm good, I'm cool, I'm cool." He said and I shook my head with a sad smile. "Dad, I know that you hate the people in Auradon for banishing you, but with me going, I might be able to get you off the Isle." I said to him and he sighed and shook his head. "No Hats, don't do that. I don't want you to ruin your chances of a better life than what I can give you on the Isle, Auradon maybe filled with hypocritical people, but they can give you better opportunities than the Isle can." Dad said and I saw that he was trying not to cry. He loved Hadie and my older sister but I was the only connection to my Mom he has left and I'm heading to another school far from him.
Dad helped me pack the items I would need in Auradon, from my clothes to a photograph of me and him and Hadie, a photograph of Mom, and any other essentials I needed. I had to choose from my hoodies, and choosing only two was hard as I owned a lot. I made all of them so each one is important to me. Once I chosen my hoodies, I packed my extra pair of glasses and some books I would want to read, and yes I was able to fit this within my bag surprisingly. Looking at my childhood room once last time, I walked out and saw Dad by the exit, trying to block me from leaving. "Dad, I have to go. Unless you want Auradon Guards come knocking on our doorstep?" I told him and he sighed and hugged me tightly, he handed me a necklace with a familiar ring on the chain. "Your Mother would've wanted you to have this." He said and I smiled and unhooked the necklace and put on the black chain, made from a type of metal only found in the Underworld, Dad forged this himself for Mom little after I was born.
Dad hugged me tightly one last time before I was able to leave, and then I ran all the way to Maleficent's place, which was a miracle in heels. There I saw some kind of vehicle, definitely a more modern invention. Jay and Carlos were fighting as they handed the driver their bags, they seemed to have packed lightly compared to me. The driver saw me and I handed him my bag and softly thanking him, I got into the vehicle and sat away from the two teenage boys. Both didn't even glance at me which was rude but nothing new in this world.
Mal and Evie got in and the two looked at me briefly before going to do whatever they wanted. Cruella, Evil Queen, and Jafar cheered for their kids and I would've smiled if they weren't faking it for themselves. I saw the candy but decided against it, too sugary for me to even try right now. "Look!" Evie shouted when we all saw the bridge approaching, there was nothing left. They all screamed and holding each other while I just stayed in my spot and looked out the window. When we didn't fall into the water, they stopped screaming and my hair lit up with gentle blue flames. "Cool." I muttered and I watched the other's question what is going on and I silently knew that life will get interesting from here on out.
