They all sat down on the porch steps watching the guy in the white suit clap his hands as he went up to grandpa.

"What do you think they're talking about?" the girl asked whispering.

"Who knows anymore..." Colt replied.

"Snyder, the only mistake I made was being partners with you." she heard grandpa say.

She looks seeing Snyder look at her as she made eye contact with him she looked away.

Grandpa went to hit him but he grabbed his hand tightly.

Zoey then made eye contact with Colt and Rocky scared a bit.

Snyder let go of Grandpas hand and walked away.

Grandpas POV

"Well you're looking good." Snyder said as he came over.

"You passed my little test."

"Partner."

"Snyder." Grandpa scoffed.

"The only mistake I ever made was being partners with you!" Grandpa said.

"Your mistake was quitting." Snyder said as his comment didn't hurt him.

"I made a fortune on these karate studios."

"Blood money." Grandpa commented with disgust.

"Come on.... your living in this junky place obviously you can't find many students I mean." He said motioning to the kids.

"I mean look at these four runts." He said.

Grandpa started getting angry. "They're not student" Grandpa corrected getting closer "They're family."

"The girl is to?" He asks.

He remained quiet.

"Oh yeah that's right cause her father works for me which she doesn't know of course."

"You better not say anything to her" Grandpa ordered.

"Or what?" He replies.

"Maybe they would like to work for me?" He asks more like a saying.

"I teach Ninja not murder." He said defensively.

"Look." Snyder said putting his hand on Grandpas back and turning him around walking.

He continued talking business "I'll pay you a fortune huh?"

"Hm?"

"Is that all you want?" Grandpa ask tapping his stomach.

"Actually no, it's your son in law Sam Douglas get him off my back for a couple weeks. What do you say? And yours? And for mine well it's not only you lose the money. You may also loose your son in law. Who knows with Douglas in the way there may be no one left."

"To defend the honor." He said and looked over at Zoey.

"Of your beautiful daughter and your best friends daughter." He continued smirking.

Grandpa went to go hit him hard making Snyder grab ahold of his hand.

"You are getting slow." Snyder mentioned laughing.

"Old man take the money, talk to sam Douglas , get him out of my life. Hm? Or I will rip out your heart." Snyder sternly brought his hand down.

He whistled and walked away as Grandpa went over to the others.

Zoey's POV

Zoey looked up when grandpa came over "Kids come here." He ordered the four went over smiling a bit.

"Attention." he said sternly and the four got into place saying "sir!"

He looked at Zoey sternly "Who told you I needed your help." He said then looking at Colt.

"I thought I told you, to stay in the house."

"A Ninja shouldn't be over confident grandpa." Colt said.

Grandpa relaxed "That's true." He replied laughing and nodding "Come here." bringing Colt in a hug, they all went over hugging him smiling.

A dummy fell down hanging, "Ahh that's awesome!" They all commented.

"Guys!" Grandpa said.

"Quiet kids." He ordered.

"Sir." They replied getting in attention.

"Before I show you this, you must promise me." He said coming over with his stick.

"You will not use this knowledge unless you're in severe danger."

"Except you can only, only use this technic to save your lives."

"You promise this?" He asks.

"Sir!" They said in attention.

"They're a few places on the body, that If you hit. The person will remember nothing. Except how much it hurts."

"You can be sure the person will not want to continue the fight."

"Blaze."

"Sir" The girl replied in fighting position.

"I want you to hit right there." He said pointing with his stick.

She swung her leg up hitting it with her foot making the dummys eyes light up.

"See! See!" He said happy.

"Ahh now! I want you to hit right there."

"But Grandpa thats the same spot" The girl mentioned.

"Oh no it isn't, now hit!" He said.

She hits it in that spot and the lights didn't go off.

"You see!"

"Nothing" he points at the spot the lights didn't go off on, "An half an inch between life." Then points at the spot below it where I hit "And death."

"Now! I want you to hit here, here, here,here and here." He said lastly pointing at the boys you know...

The boys looked uncomfortable when he pointed .... there.

"Now, I want you guys to practice one hour, before we head back to the city."

"But Grandpa I like it" they complained all at once.

"One hour!" "Now practice!" He ordered and left.

Tum Tum started practicing as Colt, Rocky and Blaze faced eachother.

"What was it with that guy in the white suit?" Colt asks.

"I don't know, the way he acted with grandpa I think the whole attack was fake" Rocky said.

"I did hear what his name was it was Snyder I don't know, he was looking at me pretty weird, but at that point that was when grandpa went to hit him." Blaze told making Colt and Rocky look at her but then down.

"And those swords were real buddy" Colt mentions with a bit of fear but he hid it.

"I still don't know... I still think he's just a old friend of Grandpas" Rocky being in denial.

"If he was a old friend why would he grab grandpas hand hard?" Blaze asked.

"Joking?" Rocky asks.

Blaze nodded speaking sarcastically "Righhhht."

"He didn't look very friendly to me." Tum Tum mentioned agreeing with Blaze as he kept kicking the dummy in the you know area.

A hour later

Blaze was sitting in the back next to Colt. The three siblings sang "Pokey all covered with BLOOD" Rocky looked back at them.

"I shot my poor teacher with a .44 stud"

"Ooo look who's here" Colt said as he stopped singing.

"She's coming after us" Colt said.

"She's not my girlfriend okay" Rocky said looking upset.

"Yeah you gonna kiss her?" Colt asks.

"Yeah you gonna kiss her?" Tum Tum repeated.

"No but I'm gonna kill you two if you don't shut up." Rocky said angry.

"Hey there's dad!" Colt said happily.

"Dad!!" They all yelled besides Blaze not seeing hers.

But then she seen her dad next to Sam talking

"Dad!!" She yelled and they all got out and ran over.

They continued yelling till they got there attention "Hey sweetie" her dad said smiling the girl smiled back.

"Dad let me show you the stuff I learned!" the girl said happily.

"Hey guys how was the summer with Grandpa?" Sam asked.

"Great, I wanna show you a lot of the stuff we learned." Colt said.

"Look Jeffrey and Zoey you can show us that stuff later" Sam said my dad nodding.

"It's not Jeffrey and Zoey." Colt said standing up straighter smiling.

"It's Colt" Colt said.

"Yeah, I'm Blaze!" the brunette girl mentions happily.

"I'm Rocky!" Rocky said.

"And I'm Tum Tum!" Tum tum said.

"Zoey your Blaze?" Her dad asks confused.

"Michael your Tum Tum?" Sam asks.

"Yeah, you see I'm Colt, because,I'm fast" Colt said and points at his girlfriend.

"She's Blaze cause she's fast also but doesn't really think before she does stuff" making her roll her eyes but playfully.

"You sure you're not talking about yourself?" She snickered. Tum Tum did also.

Colt just rolled his eyes "He's Rocky because he's solid" Colt said.

"And he's Tum Tum because he'll eat anything" Colt finished.

"I won't eat dog poop" Tum Tum said.

"Well, everything besides that." The girl corrected.

"It's bad enough he got you guys teaching Karate all summer, what?" Sam said standing straighter and looks at Grandpa "They need new names?"

Grandpa shrugged.

"I like my new name." Tum Tum said sadly looking down.

"Sam, Zach come on Sam and Zach we gotta role" the guy said in the drivers seat.

"Look guys we have to go" Sam said getting in the car as did Zach.

The girl went to the door after her dad closed it "Hey, you be good okay? I'll see you next week" her dad said.

"I'm glad your back" Sam said as he closed the door Colt going to it.

"Don't forget to kiss your mother a load Jeffrey." Sam said we both let go of the door and he drove off.

"It's Colt." Colt said.

She just went up to Colt behind him "You okay?" He asks.

"Yeah I'm fine." He says.

The girl watched Emily come over to Rocky talking as they were heading inside.

"Hi, Mrs.Douglas" Blaze said smiling.

"Hi , sweetie" she said.

"Thanks for letting me stay Grandpa and thanks also for having me spend the week" Lightning said looking at them both, the two both nodded and the girl went inside to put her stuff away but she decided to wait behind for Colt to come in.
