I accepted my fate

but I still wish upon you

maybe not in this life anymore

but maybe we could still be meant for each other

in another lifetime or in another parallel dimension

whatever the circumstances may be

I want to try again

let it be that we're merely rocks placed together

we'd be there sitting on earth

together watching as the world walks by

just the presence of you would be enough

to live those millions of years

as new layers form

all the new stories I tell would be about us

you and me together

until the earth perishes
