《Messy Love》Doomed

'You can have my heart'

I cannot believe I have asked a girl out on a date.

I have never been on a date! What do I even do? What do we talk about? Usually I just talk about things girls want to hear so that they sleep with me.

And fuck did I want Bella to sleep with me, but it's more than that, I want to know what she is thinking, what she loves and hates. What has made those light green eyes cry, and what has made her laugh so much that they scrunch up.

I mean it's not like I specified date, just coffee, but it was implied. I'm sure Bella thinks it's a date, why else would she ask me about Chantelle?

What was so wrong about dating anyway? I've had regulars before, how would this be so different.

You never took your regulars to get coffee.

Cheers conscious, I love your constant input.

I put on some black shorts and a plain white top with my vans. I grab my black helmet, lock my apartment and head out to my black Ducati. The only thing I got from my father was a love of bikes. The speed, the wind, the adrenaline is something I can feel rushing through my veins every time I hop on my bike.

Pulling up to the small coffee shop we agreed on, I see Bella getting out of silver prius, that was good timing. She looks over to me as I take my helmet off and she smiles. She is wearing the same white dress from this morning, she's completely breathtaking.

"Motorbike guy huh?" She says playfully.

"I'll take you for a ride one day."

She laughs. "It looks like a death trap."

"It's the biggest rush you will have, other than sex of course," I smirk at her and she blushes.

"Sorry I didn't change, I had to do a new born shoot straight after your class," we walk side by side into the shop.

"I'm glad you didn't change," I say while glancing down at her, she just comes up to my shoulders and I find myself picturing her in the nook of my arm.

We both order a coffee and a croissant each before we sit down. The nerves seep into the tips of my fingers and start making their way through my entire body. Fuck Tyson, control yourself.

Come on, you have talked to plenty of girls before, how is this any different!

"Tell me about yourself," I say and inwardly smack myself in the face. Great start.

"What do you want to know?" She awkwardly places her hands in her lap and it hits me that she is also nervous.

"Um how about what's your favourite thing to capture behind the camera?"

"I love finding new places at dawn and dusk, and capturing the sun at its most awing times. What about you? Tell me about yourself."

"I feel like there isn't really much to know," our drinks and food come, and we sit in silence before the waitress leaves again.

"Okay how come you aren't interested in Chantelle?" She asks.

"I just have a rule about not sleeping with classmates, it gets messy."

"Fair enough, what do you like doing besides riding and acting?"

Fucking girls.

Do not say that Tyson! "Poetry," I blurt out.

Why the actual fuck did I just tell her that!

She cocks head to the side and smiles at me. "Really?"

I let out a shaky laugh, "really."

"Could you maybe recite me some?" She asks shyly.

I take a sip of my coffee to try and drown down the nerves, "They asked, 'do you love her to death?' I said 'speak of her over my grave and watch how she brings me back to life.'"

"Who said that?"

"Darwish."

"That was beautiful," her eyes shine as they look into mine and my breath catches.

"You're beautiful," I whisper and her cheeks turn a lovely shade of pink. I cough, "sorry that just came out."

"Don't be, I'm glad you said it."

Slowly, the nerves slip away and talking to Bella becomes natural. We go through three cups of coffee and a lemon meringue each, before we notice the café beginning to pack up for closing. No way will I be sleeping tonight after all this caffeine.

"I guess we should probably leave," she says.

"Unfortunately," I say sadly and she smiles, showing off her perfectly white teeth. Does this girl have any flaws?

We stand in between her car and my bike, not really knowing how to say goodbye to each other, and desperately wanting to be in each other's presence.

"Thank you for the coffee," she says sweetly.

"Thank you for agreeing to come."

She nods her head awkwardly. "Okay goodbye," she smiles before turning away from me but I grab her hand and pull her back. The same tingly sensation returns from when I shook her hand, and in one quick movement I press my lips against hers.

She hums on my lips and I push them apart with my own, sliding my tongue against hers. My hand that holds hers, entwines our fingers as my other hand moves to her face; softly caressing her cheek.

She moans into my mouth and I let out my own pleasant breaths. Her lips are perfectly moulded for mine, that's the only way I can describe our kiss.

Slow but raw, passionate but soft, eager but patient.

"Tyson," she whispers as we pull away.

"I know," I say. We are both doomed.
