It was a regular sunny day in casita except one thing, it was really quiet. Normally it would be full of sounds and music but today was a quiet day.

Dolorse thought today would be a perfect day to chill and not have to listen to everything and everyone, setting up a chair outside she sits down and instantly relaxes. Casita brings over a cup of tea, dolorse takes it happily.

Signing as she leans back in the chair taking in the morning sun she hears footsteps coming her way. Looking over she sees Bruno walking up to her with a smile and a tiny rat on his shoulder.

Dolorse:" hey tio bruno" He waved shortly as he sat next to her while looking at the sky.

Bruno:" quiet day huh?"

Dolorse:" yeah it's almost to suspicious but I'll take what I can get even if it's only for a few seconds"

Bruno:" what if there was a way you could chill and not hear anything"

Dolorse:" not gonna work, trust me tio bruno if there was a way to do that I'd be in there already. Plus it's not just talking I hear" she patted Bruno's back softly.

Bruno:" can you listen in on everyone?" Dolorse nods her head then sits up.

Dolorse:" isabela is on a another date, there talking about...(giggles) the weather. Luisa is working out like always. Camilo is.......being Camilo. Antonio is sleeping. Abuela is talking to julieta about a party. Mirabel is trying to calm pepa down with....singing? I can't tell it's all...I don't know"

Mirabel:" ItS Ok Too Be MaD SoMeTiMeS"

Felix:" your just making it worse Mirabel what even are you doin"

Mirabel:" I'm trying to calm her down what does it look like?"

Felix:" it looks like your trying to speak in a rat language"

Dolorse:"........anyway, pari is(she tilts her head)...talking to Mariano" Leaning back in her chair Bruno pats her shoulder.

Bruno:" if it was up to me, I'd say your powers are more hard than anyone's, I mean listening all the time but not actually wanting to is hard. Don't you get tired of it?"

Dolorse:" I mean it does ruin my surprise birthday party's a little but honestly Bruno I'm not fazed at all, I've been dealing with this for a long time"

They both look up at the sky seeing birds fly by and clouds move slowly, dolorse closes her eyes then opens them when she realized something.

Dolorse:" I'm gonna go check on Mariano and pari, I can feel that he's nervous...it was a good talk Bruno thank you" standing up from her chair she walks back into casita heading towers the kitchen where Mariano is but not pari.

Dolorse:" you alright?" She puts her hand on his shoulder as he jumps them instantly relaxes when he sees that it's just dolorse.

Mariano:" yeah, remember when you said that your cousins and brothers were going to give me "The Talk" about hurting you?" She nods her head

Mariano:" well......pari's was a little shocking actually, out of all your cousins I thought pari's was going to be the most scaring one but...she was really nice and that just made me nervous"

Dolorse:"she's testing you Mariano, you have nothing to be nervous about it's just pari. What can a 5'7 20 year old do to you?"

Dolorse:" what did you do to him?" Dolorse asks as she follows a working pari aroind the casita.

Pari:" I need you to be a little more specific Flores" taking both plates she puts them together to see if they were the same size.

Dolorse:" what did you say to Mariano, he's in the kitchen nervous"

Pari:" oh that(scoffs) I just asked him how he saw you in the future. Not to be rude or anything Dolores but he's a little..........sensitive"

Dolorse:" he's not sensitive" they both stop talking when they hear something, both turning there heads they see Mariano in the hallway with Felix in front of him.

Felix:" you ok" Mariano burts out crying as he runs down the stairs to the door. Pari looks over at Dolores

Pari:" righttttttttt" she goes back to work as Dolores is still on her tail.

Dolores:" we're the madrigals of course he's going to be sensitive at first. Look at Diego he was sensitive when he first got here"

Pari:" if your talking about the guy that isabela's dating who's also in the backyard laughing with abuela and mama then yeah he's really sensitive.....heard the sarcasm?" Making a perfect tiny ice sculpture she placed it on the table looking it over before she shrugs and makes 5 more.

Dolorse:" why are you so hard on him?"

Pari:" I'm not I just asked him a simple question"

Dolorse:" what was the question?" Signing as she stops then turns around facing her.

Pari:" are you good enough for dolorse....that's what I asked him"

Dolorse:" of course he's good enough for me, he's been nothing but sweet and kind and that's everything I want"

Pari:" I know..and that's what scares me dolorse, what if you move out, what if he moves in?..will you still be the same fun dolorse I love and looked up to? Will you shut me out like isabela?....I asked him if he was good enough for you because you deserve to be happy......now if you'll excuse me I have to finish the decorations for isabela and Diego's party tonight"

Pari walks away with snow Particles trailing behind her as she walks to another room. Dolorse goes to stop her but stops herself once she hears Camilo's voice calling her"

Stuck between if she should go after pari or see what Camilo wants her Decision is made when she hears Camilo calling her name again but louder.

Dolorse:" alright alright I'm coming"

Camilo:" not fast enough"

Walking down the stairs to Camilo she stops and stands on the last stair.

Dolorse:" what do you need?"

Camilo:" abuela wants to see you, something about isabela I don't know I'm just the messenger" dolorse walks out the room to the backyard where abuela is.

Abuela:" ah. There you are, come, come, I have something for you"

Dolorse goes up to abuela then takes a seat next to her waiting patiently.

Abuela turns over and gives her small cards.

Abuela:" can you sign them for me? I would do it but I need to go and check on pari to make sure she's doing what I asked" all dolorse does is nod getting a smile from abuela, she stands up placing a kiss on her forehead then walks in to go find pari.

Mirabel:" mama? You wanted to see me?"

Julieta:" oh right, um have you seen Luisa?"

Mirabel:" last time I saw her she was helping pari with the decorations" Julieta nods her head then goes back to making arepa's

Julieta:" have you talked to pari? She looks a little tense"

Mirabel:" what pari? No, she's fine."

Julieta:"(sighs) I'm only asking because I overheard her and abuela fighting, it sounded really bad and they haven't talked since then"

Mirabel:" I'll go talk to her mama if that helps"

Julieta:" thank you Mirabel...now go I need to finish cooking" Mirabel nods her head then goes out the kitchen to the front yard where pari is.

Mirabel:" hey you ok?" Making an arch of snow flowers she looks up at Mirabel then looks back down.

Pari:" mhm" getting on her knees then fully sitting next to pari she rubs her back. Mirabel:" you know you can talk to me about anything right?"

Seeing that pari's trying to hold in her tears she nods her head again before standing up wiping her nose. Pari:" yeah I know that, I really need to get back to work. Wouldn't want to start a fight again" she turns over so Mirabel can't see her then proceeds to work on the arch.

Mirabel:" I'm here whenever you need to talk or cry" she gets up then walks inside.
