(Dante🔥)

"Dante...," I whispered.

My eyes widened.

Shit.

Shit, shit, shit, shit.

Dante's eyes doubled. He raised a shaky finger at me.

"You left me...," He murmured, his voice cracking at the end.

"Yeah, because you kidnapped me!" I snapped.

His jaw clenched. My eyes widened.

I turned to run away but Dante started chasing me.

"Taxi!" I shrieked, and to my luck, a cab halted in front of me.

Smiling widely, I opened the car door and was about to get in when Dante grasped my arm and pulled me out.

"Dante," I said, breathing heavily.

"Si, cara mia?" He whispered.

"Look. It is natural for a person to escape when they're kidnapped," I gritted out.

"Oh, amore," he whispered, caressing my cheek with his cold finger.

"Let me go," I snarled.

"Ysaline, I need to talk to you-"

I shook my head vigorously. "Well I don't wanna talk to you."

He sighed. "Please."

Holy fuc-

Did he just say please?

Damn.

I narrowed my eyes at him and fisted my hands.

I trained with Xena and her dad. Being in the mafia meant to protect yourself.

Xena was the future mafia queen and I was to be her second in command so it was mandatory to train.

No complains, though.

Remembering the training lessons I had, I swung my arm and punched him on the jaw. He groaned loudly and clutched his cheek.

Taking this chance, I ran in the opposite direction. I was running as fast as my legs could go but abruptly stopped when I heard a gun click.

"Ysaline...," His voice came out as a warning.

I turned around and froze.

Dante was pointing a bloody gun at me.

I internally scoffed.

He's trying to scare me with a gun?

One thing I've learnt during few incidents is not to fear the gun...fear the person holding the gun.

Now, this was definitely not the first time someone has pointed a gun at me.

"Come here willingly. Don't make me use this," He demanded, motioning to the gun.

I nodded and took a few steps towards him.

He looked surprised that I complied but seemed satisfied.

I smirked and took out my gun from the holster and then pointed it at him.

So basically we both were aiming our guns at each other.

His eyes widened and he seemed almost impressed.

The people witnessing this scene were terrified while we both remained unfazed.

"Oh, Ysaline...," He trailed off.

"Oh, Dante...," I mimicked, mocking him.

He chuckled deeply and slowly lowered his gun, making me tighten my hold on mine. What was he up to?

"Run," He whispered.

My eyebrows furrowed. Run?

"Run, amore. I love this game of hide and seek. Run, and I'll hunt you down," He whispered huskily, like he was the predator and I was his prey. His to ravish.

Not wasting a second, I sprung onto my feet and dashed god knows where. Taking several twists and turns through narrow alleys, I paused in front of an abandoned park. It was empty, no people in it. I sat down on the rusty blue bench and sighed, taking deep breaths.

Dante.

Never thought I would meet him again. He surely is heavenly beautiful but he was my captor. Nothing tops that.

The soft chirping of the birds, rustling of the leaves, gusts of the wind remained prominent to my ears. It was the tranquility of the weather which gave me warmth in the tensed situation I was in. I hummed the tune of Dusk till Dawn, my favorite song of this week.

"But you'll never be alone, I'll be with you from Dusk till dawn, I'll be with you from dusk till dawn. Baby I'm right here," I softly sang to myself. This song helped calm my brisk nerves.

My heart kept pounding and I kept looking in every directions every now and then. I jumped at every slight sound that was heard.

Almost an hour passed and I smiled, content with this weather, almost forgetting about him. Suddenly, a slight crunch of leaves froze me. Someone was here. I slowly turned around to face with my nightmare.

There he was, smirking ear to ear. He leaned against the tree trunk, his hands kept inside the pockets of his black ripped jeans.

"Denis- I mean Dante," I quickly clarified. His face morphed into something terrifying. His jaw clenched and his eyes turned darker.

"Denis? You're still with that bastard?" He gritted out.

"I love him!" I yelled. Okay, this definitely ticked him off. The next second, I found myself over his sharp shoulder.

"Dante! Put me down!" I yelled, banging on his back. He ignored my yells and walked to his bike.

Bike? He was going to carry me on a bike? How?

My question was answered when Dante sat on the bike and placed me in front, facing him. He pulled me closer to him by my waist and started driving.

"Dante! Stop the bike!" I yelled loudly, thwacking his back.

He just shushed me. How dare he? Son of a bitch.

"Ysaline, I just wanted to talk to you. I'm not going to do anything else," He assured, taking a sharp turn to the right.

"If you got kidnapped by someone who claims to love you wouldn't you try to escape?" I asked rhetorically.

"Of course I would."

"Exactly!"

He didn't say anything afterwards.

After 15 minutes he stopped in front of the same mansion I was held captive in 3 years back. More like a haunted house, less like a mansion.

Dante grabbed my wrist and pulled me inside the house.

"Wait! Where's Xena?!" I yelled as this struck me late.

I had to find her! I needed to find her!

"Don't worry, she's here with Enzo."

"I knew it. Enzo kidnapped her again," I muttered under my breath.

Dante frowned, but didn't say anything. He grabbed my wrist tighter and dragged me up the stairs into the same room. He pushed me on the bed.

I tried getting up but he straddled me and pinned both my arms beside my face in his tight grip.

"You're real," He whispered, lubricating my lips with his thumb.

"Of course I'm real, you dipshit," I snapped and he chuckled.

"I missed this feisty nature of yours," He murmured. I rolled my eyes.

Oh, how romantic.

The next thing I know, he smashed his lips on mine.

What the fuck-

He pulled me in for a bruising kiss. I gasped in surprise and obviously tried pulling back but he didn't let me, keeping a firm hold of my wrists. He nipped on my bottom lip and I whimpered. He slipped his tongue in and pressed his body closer to mine. I wriggled my legs trying to break free from the heated moment.

After a few minutes, he pulled back and I gulped, gasping for breath. My lips were swollen and bleeding. He smirked and gently wiped the blood off by his thumb.

"You are a sick son of a bitch!" I spat in venom. He just shrugged and got off me.

Dante sat down on the couch and spread out his legs. He leaned forward and gently rubbed his chin.

Damn, that little action made him look so hot.

"Enzo did not kidnap Xena, Ysaline."

I scoffed when he said that.

"She was the one who came knocking at the door. She was badly beaten up and was shot by the Germans."

My eyes widened.

Germans?

Shit.

Xena's past...

I bet she got triggered by it.

I was the only one who knew about it.

"I want to meet Xe. I want to make sure she's safe," I spoke up.

"I'm sure everything's fine. She's with Enzo," He replied.

"Those 2 sentences do not go together."

He chuckled. "Look, Xena's fine."

"I. Want. To. Meet. Xena. And. I. Will. Meet. Her," I gritted, accentuating every word like Ross in Friends.

Ugh, Ysaline, not the time to think about Friends.

Dante sighed. "Alright, come with me."

He took my hand in his but I pulled back.

He guided me to Enzo's room.

Taking a deep breath, I opened the door.
